Cypher-Male-Lead Hunter-3yrs-Starlight-Tags: Kuroyuki, Hakuren,Mikage

Cypher looked up at the sound of Hakuren's voice, noticing he had arrived. Before he could speak, he saw Mikage step in as well. " Hakuren, Mikage. " He huffed, hiding his signs of injury. Only Kuroyuki knew, and he wanted it to stay that way. Regaining his composure as Lead Hunter, he put aside his emotions and aches and focused on the job at hand. " For now, we will carry this stag back, then we can hit the rabbit burrows not too far from here. Then, we can decide whether or not we have enough for the day. " He said, his voice becoming a bit detached so he can focus on hiding his signs of injury. Grabbing hold of a leg on the stag, he glanced at Mikage, Hakuren and Kuroyuki, signaling them to grab a part of the stag to drag it back to camp. Luckily it wasn't too far, just about a few sprints away, which wouldn't take long to drag.

The darker ears and darker tipped tail moved a bit. She seemed to jump a bit when Labrador spoke up, and looked to him. "Is it her job to watch his pup? Well, I assume Eros to...be like a foundling or something I guess, since I've seen him around Liberty."

They nodded to the warrior, and sighed a bit. They were about to speak to him more when the pup literally came crashing through the woods. "Daisy! Where have you been?!" Realizing the tone of voice might upset her, they softened up. "Are you okay?" they asked. "why did you run off?" they then asked.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked to Blaze. The white foot black phase she wolf tilted her own head as she watched him. He seemed to have a confused look to his face. She giggled a bit, then scolded herself and shook her own head. She then blinked, saying "I mean...yeah...we could also discuss that too. There was...something else, though." She knew she had to tell him at some point. She had a huge crush on him, and as the one she was crushing on, he deserved to know. Even if he said he didn't feel the same way, she should tell him. She should tell him and see what happened. She watched as he looked to Shy Fawn again. She smirked a bit, then took another bite of meat.

The reddish looking male twitched darker reddish or brown ears, and the tipped tail flicked. Lighter brownish looking eyes looked to Freya as she spoke. "I um...not Rver..." he said. "I don't really know if I like Milo," he then said. "I mean, I do like male wolves only...He's also nice to look at, but...I just don't know," he said with a small sigh. He then looked to the others, before looking at her again. "What about you, have you ever...do you have a crush on anyone?" he asked.

The black-phase wolf sighed and shook his head a couple times. He watched her go off to discipline the pup...which wasn't even really hers. Kikui knew Kairo had parents, or had at one point. He sighed and stood, shaking off and heading back to his spot. There wasn't really much to do, not anymore. He turned around a couple times, then laid down. He pawed at his muzzle a bit. He then sighed and closed his eyes, after blinking a couple times.

The smaller and slender black phase wolf watched. The white toed and jawed one flicked his white tipped tail. The golden eyed one nodded back to the other male a moment. He felt warm inside, as the other seemed to silently thank him for the rabbit. He felt like he might faint...He scolded himself, then quickly looked to the other once more. He nodded to Dante a second time, smiling a wolf smile. "Okay," he said, as Dante spoke to him in what was an encouraging way.

He was nodding to the inter male, and opening his mouth to speak when the others showed up. He sighed and shook his head as those two finally showed up. "Well...it's good you're both here," he said to Hakuren and Mikage. He glanced to Cypher a moment. He'd already decided he wasn't going to say anything. Cypher had asked him to keep quiet about it, after all. He watched the lead hunter grab one of the legs. He grabbed one on the opposite side, and waited for the two others.

The white muzzled shadowy one flocked their tail a bit. They twitched their ears, and watched the other head off. They saw him stop to look back at the camp a monent. They wondered if he'd been looking at them, and felt a bit warm with that thought.

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup tilted his head. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked around, then back to Yomi. "Oh, yeah...I guess it was your idea, but I wanted to go anyway." He shook his head a couple times. "You two only have two months...if they even consider us adults at a year old. I feel like you're still a pup at a year old, but whatever. I...still have six months...or even more if you're not considered an adult until two." He then looked to Kuroi again. He said "I...don't know where my parents are, either. I haven't seen them in...I...actually don't remember," he sighed. They'd been around when he was really young, but he didn't know now.

The Beta half-listened as Eros chimed back into the conversation , Nova knew she could not offer him the attention that he attempted to receive . Especially when Liberty parted his maw to tell her again. It seemed that the pair had come to a slight miscommunication about the future for the pack that they shared. The Beta figured they could smooth over their mishaps in conversation , but something had come to change. The Beta took note of how he’d changed his tone when speaking to her. Nova quickly grew fixated on the Alpha’s shift in aura. The air grew stiff to her , as if there was some kind of pause in time. Dark amber eyes glistened ever so as the wolf searched for the eyes of her Alpha. She tried to understand where he was coming from, but keeping firm in the words that she had previously shared with him.

Nova felt confidence in not telling the rest of the pack until the two Alphas were comfortable that they’d both go through with things. She would understand him more if this had been in discussion for weeks, but the only thing that even brought them to the topic of peace was the pup crossing the border. Which just so happened to be less than five hours ago.

For a very brief moment, she wanted to question his stance as their Alpha. That was until he mentioned her being an Alpha one day. Her ears nearly perked until she fully comprehended what he had said to her. How could he even mention her being impatient, when he had not even come to a full conclusion on a fresh conversation and decided that now was a great time for them to introduce this idea to the rest of the pack.

Her eyes left the Alpha and moved onto the pup between them. She had to calm the tension. Eros did not need to see them like this , not Liberty. A strange feeling overwhelmed Nova as she listened to the Alpha nearly berate her of her rank being so easily filled by another. Deep down, a pit of anger grew in her , but she did not allow the emotion to grow.

“Liber-” she attempted to say , but no words followed as the tip of his name rolled off her tongue. Liberty had finally come back around, after leaving a tremendous gap of silence to fill the void of their exchange. The tension that Nova had felt between them had slowly come to a halt when he went over their plan to announce to the pack. That did not leave her with a lot of time to bring herself together again.

She pushed forward towards the rest of the pack and the meal that they hunters managed to obtain for them. Alpha Liberty left her view as he said his piece and moved on to go and eat. She couldn’t help other than to feel stuck or like she was pushed away by him. Nova managed to untangle her thoughts and hoped that they’d remain that way until she was able to take a breather away from the pack.

Now with Liberty no longer by their side, she tilted her head in Eros’ direction. Emotions from the drawn out conversation now on a pause, she decided to focus on the pup and his current needs. Not like his adoptive parent was interested in the needs of his child anyway. Nova lightly nudged the tip of her cold, wet nose against the smaller pup, hoping to take his mind off of the conversation as well. Certain that the pup did not feel comfortable with going with his father to eat dinner.

“Let’s eat some dinner before the big announcement” her voice softly rang as she brought her paws to a full stop. The least she could do was distract herself from the awkward conversation that she and Liberty had. She walked over to the remains from the recent hunt and pulled off what she assumed that the pup would eat. She dropped the meat a few paw steps away from Eros and dipped her head to him. She figured she’d let the pack enjoy the hunt before she came to eat. After all, she ate earlier before going into the mess of a border.

Liberty

The brutes face was stiff he neither frowned or smiled when he heard Nova state they should eat before the announcement. Since having arrived at the kill Liberty sat off to the side allowing for those who had worked the hardest to eat first. He was fine waiting to have a nibble though that’s what it would be he had stifled his appetite earlier that day a short time after waking up it was a small morsel a little rat that had seen fit to make Liberty’s den their resting place as well so their punishment was a swift death and their corpses became his meal. His yellow watchful eyes scanned over the wolves around him until his eyes met Eros, the pup he had adopted, in truth the pup was a cover up he hoped would divert the attention of his more calculated pack members away from him while he worked beneath their eyes in an attempt to achieve what he believed was greater than even himself at the moment. The thought of success made his heart skip. All this time and all this work would soon give way to his success and he would fell any wolf who would come between him and that. Even if they were his own though he hoped he could avoid such a thing.

Lost in thought he hadn’t noticed until just then that Shy-Fawn was sneaking off probably to go hunt. An unyielding anger swelled in his in his chest, how could that foolish feeble wolf think they he could just defy an order to not eat and to stay seen. It was a massive risk on Liberty’s part to even accept the wolf back and Shy-Fawn wasn’t even valuable enough to use in the conversation he had with Destiny earlier about peace. That feeble brute would not eat today and for as long as Liberty could keep it that way. As of now Shy-Fawn was still a Starlight wolf who had betrayed him and his fellow pack mates yet had the gall to beg his way back into Liberty’s outstanding pack.

In an instant seeming almost unwarranted to anyone who may not have been paying attention Liberty snarled then stood and then sprinted to Shy-Fawn the large brutes paws left the ground when he pounced and he landed on Shy-Fawn pushing the betrayed down by his shoulders then promptly pinning the brute by his throat. This was probably a sight that would unsettle the uninformed observer while they witnessed. But this was justifiable to Liberty because in his youth he had seen Forrest do this as well to ensure certain members knew their positions in this pack. Shy-fawn is the omega who will do as he is told. Also realistically this was a common occurrence in other packs as well. “Just where do you think you’re going runt? I ordered you to remain where I can see you. I recommend not straying too far from me…We do not trust you betrayer. “ he barked snarling viciously not letting Shy-Fawn go until he submitted. “Any other bright ideas could have…..dire consequences.” He said slowly using the full depth of his voice. “If you don’t like it! You are an Omega and can leave if you wish…Though I am not certain Destiny would have you again.” He said darkly snapping his teeth in Fawn’s face. The announcement would probably be put off until another time so he felt that when this was over he needed a moment to himself to look over all of the land that would soon be his. Nova could handle the pack during his absence which wouldn’t be for more than an hour or so. Perhaps he would ask Eros to join him as to maybe show the pup his vision and get him on his side. He’d hate to have to cause the ebony pup harm Eros had such a hard start at life as it was and though Liberty was becoming a beast he wasn’t a monster or so he would tell him self while looking into the rivers speaking to his reflection like a twisted wolf reassuring himself that he was doing right as long as what he did fueled the steps to complete his vision.

Shy Fawn was just about to pounce on the rabbit and have a juicy meal when suddenly an incredibly strong force bowled him over. The next thing he knew he was being pinned by the...ALPHA!? As much as it might make his teeth grind, he had to appear meek for his full plan to work. And that
meant NOT BEING SEEN BY THE ALPHA!
Disgusted inside but not showing it he put back on his convincing act. (red is bad so ill change his color to somthing near it.)

"Great appologies, Liberty. I am sorry i disobeyed. My hunger drove me." He nodded politely, and showed Liberty his throat. (Far as I know thats how they admit defeat.)

Inside his heart pounded furiously. Imagine a great wolf as he pinned by such a measly force, and being called a RUNT!


Daisy glanced up at who she'd crashed into. "Maison!" She said with a squeak. Daisy took a breath. "I'm going to the Starlight pack." She blurted.

The she wolf was in the woods when the call was made for the hunters to assemble in the pack. By the time she had made it to the pack grounds, the hunters had already left. Athena pinned her ears to the top of her head, she knew that the higher ups would scold her for not coming to them when called. It wasn't intentional though , she just wasn't fast enough to get there before they went on their mission. She considered going back to the pack and waiting for their call or finding them on her own.

Athena raised her snoot to the air , searching for the familiar scents of the hunters. Ever so faintly , she could smell them and the deceased animal that they carried. Instantly she took off in the direction off the scent. Dodging the trees as she went , her fiery red fur zipping through. Finally, she caught up to them, perking her ears up as her eyes watched the group carrying the deer back to the camp. Athena's eyes met Cypher , as he was the leader she had to report to him at this point. "Cypher, I apologize for being late. Is there anything that you need me to do ?" she asked, keeping the pace with them.

Blaze nodded his head towards Gauge's statement. She had confused him slightly - if they weren't going to talk about the border incident then what else did they need to discuss? He searched her gold eyes for a moment before he flicked his tail "okay" Blaze commented before turning his head back to take another look at ShyFawn. To Blaze's surprise and a bit of disgust the traitor was gone. "of course" he muttered under his breath. Reasons like this was why he wasn't fond with communicating with others. Focus on the wolf was gone for two seconds and he had disappeared.
Blaze spun around and quickly looked to catch the scent of ShyFawn. His nostrils flared as he caught the scent, without saying another word he took off towards the direction of the scent. His paws pressed into the ground as he ran towards it. As Blaze approached, he saw Liberty already handling the issue. A soft growl rose in his throat. ShyFawn had really come to them for forgiveness, groveled for them to accept him back into the pack and now he was sneaking off and disobeying direct orders from Liberty. Blaze was tempted to make a comment but kept his mouth shut. The last thing he wanted to do was interfere.

River took another quick bite to her meal to finish it before licking around her jaws - if there was one thing River could do. It was eat. She was often asked if she was starved due to how quickly she could consume a meal. She turned her gaze back to Milo for a moment before nodding at his comment "thirty six hours? Wow, that's a long time." she added with a shudder. She could hardly go a day and a half without her stomach trying to eat itself. But that long?
Her attention was pulled back to the wolf beside her as he spoke once again. She nodded hearing the few wolves he knew. Her eyes flicked around the camp. Blaze had just took off running over something so, River figured she'd start with him "The big black wolf that just took off running? That's Blaze. He's one of our fighters and you won't really get much out of him. Very quiet, very pack dedicated" she commented before looking around again, now finding the pelt of Gauge and then Nova she opened her mouth again "The white wolf with the black foot is Gauge. She's another fighter, really kind and kind of quiet. We haven't spoken much. And then you know Nova obviously."
Her eyes searched the meal again , a small hum coming from her throat as the considered who to go over next. River didn't have any issues with anyone in the pack so she hoped her descriptions of everyone were accurate. Her eyes turned towards Jessie, Castor, Castor and Labrador "Those wolves in that kind of spread out group is most of the hunters. Like me!" she commented with a small smile, raising her head up a bit to discuss the wolves she worked with frequently "Jessie is the one with the dark ears, she's kind of blunt. butttt she has a huge crush on Liberty and will not tell him but she needs too" she added with a small grin "Next is Castor, the tanish wolf...He's our lead, he's very dedicated and always knows the best places to look. Very friendly...ummm I guess Labrador is next, Labrador is the brother of Castor even though they don't look similar. Labrador is very knowledgeable about plants. I almost think he should of been a medic, he knows herbs very well" she shook her head thinking of what to say next "Ummm, anyone else over here that seems interesting to you?" she asked with a small giggle.

They sighed as they looked down at the pup. They tilted their head as they regarded her a moment, looking to the others then back to her. They rolled their eyes as they saw Shy Fawn get caught...They shook their head, and looked at Daisy. "Don't go near that wolf...the one Liberty is dealing with. He came back, but I don't really trust him right now. Now...why would you go to our rival pack?" he asked her. "You don't have any family or friends there...and aren't some of us your friends?" they asked.

Eros

Eros could feel the awkwardness between his adopted Father and the Beta as well as the burden of silence that came next because Liberty did not seem to want to be defied or hear any other opinion other than his own he even kept Nova from adding to his plan which seemed absurd because Liberty had asked for Nova’s opinion. What had suddenly gotten into Liberty? Eros thought that maybe his adopted father was just feeling a bit grumpy because he was kinda old, and maybe he only needed some time to himself or a nap to help mend his attitude.

While he walked more closely to Nova his mind drifted off imagining being some gigantic wolf in his thoughts one that was much bigger than Liberty! Perhaps taller than the Trees! So that maybe he could talk to Liberty that way and see how he liked it! Liberty wouldn't be able to stop Eros he’d be so big Liberty couldn't even yell loud enough for Eros to hear him. He’d say, ‘Don't talk to Nova like that! It's not nice!’, and that would probably do it! That would put Liberty in his place.

The pup's imagination created multiple scenarios that entertained and brought a small smile to see his adopted father done justice for being rude. He was so distracted by his own thoughts he almost hadn't noticed when the adults came to a stop and then for some reason separated at the kill. He looked between the two adults and decided he’d much rather stay with Nova until Liberty’s gentle nature returned.

Once truly at the kill Nova kindly ripped a morsel out of the hide of the animal and then set it down for him to enjoy, before the Beta’s head could retract he attacked her with licks and kisses saying thank you more with action than his words than allowed himself a moment to chew on the stiff raw meat this would more than likely distract him for a bit.

As expected from a wolf whose name begins with Shy the powerless brute submitted. Liberty’s jowls were lifted in a menacing snarl which was complimented by the bloodshot look in his eyes and his grasp on Shy-Fawn was relentless until after he finished speaking because a physical submission wasn't all Liberty wanted. It was during Shy-Fawn’s verbal submission that Liberty noticed a familiar growl, it was Blaze, for the second time today a wolf was able to slip away from his sight. Upon the realization that he was no longer alone, with Shy-Fawn, he released the brute and allowed him to stand but he didn't do it without responding cruelly, “That is the 2nd time today your life has been spared by me. You should thank me...”, his voice was low and filled to its fullest with ice at the end of each word then he continued, “If you want to eat you will beg me...just as you did at the border. But if begging is no longer beneath you then I am fine if you starve.” his tones were dark and carried weight he hoped would press on the shoulders of this brute. Liberty did not care for the Omega nor should any other wolf in his pack Shy-Fawn simply didn't belong here and how long would it be before he betrayed the Redmoon pack again? Liberty didn't want to take the chance with it the Omega would have some serious work ahead of him in order to gain favor with Liberty. “Return with us and watch those that deserve the meal eat,” he ordered then turned to Blaze.
