"We were just saying that we were going to go on a patrol" Louve explained to Lucas, nodding welcomingly at the newcomer into their small group. Surely there wouldn't be any problem with them all going out for a patrol and plus, they were helping out with the tasks so that the clan all had a little less to worry about.

Sandpiper drew another breath to strengthen the scent in her nose. She wrinkled her muzzle as it hit her, and gently shook her face. She couldn't help but quite fully agree with Bian's clear dislike of raccoons, and could somewhat relate to their feelings. She had never liked the taste nor attitude of those strange critters.
"I feel you," The Huntress responded with a small shrug, turning away from where she stood and matching Bian's pace.
"Better than nothing, though! Maybe we'll find another pheasant or so after we catch that raccoon." She mused hopefully, sweeping her tail over the forest floor. It would be a meal for somebody, if not them.

Theaadowes gently bumped Smoke's shoulder with her own as she walked.
"Wouldn't want to have any other backup." The Huntress claimed, her voice holding an air of laughter. Even though she knew Smoke had a record of pranks and a tendency for curiosity and silly endeavors, Thess knew for certain that she could be counted upon, regardless of the matter.
The she-wolf narrowed her eyes as she stepped through the forest's undergrowth, following her nose towards the scent of deer. She gave a small tail flick at Risen's words, finding sense and solemnity in them. As much as she hoped there wouldn't be any bucks around (considering the size of their party), there still needed to be a plan in case something changed. She didn't quite like the idea that Risen had offered to take the frontal position, even if he was only a half-year younger than her. However, she understood where he came from, and offered him a decisive nod.
"Let's hope it doesn't get to that." Thessadowes murmured, stepping over an old, fallen log. Last thing she wished for the new season was a wounded packmate.
The smell that lingered in the air began to grow stronger as the group headed towards the direction of the meadow. While she wasn't quite close enough to discern the scents and give details on the aid herd, Thessadowes knew that they were traveling the correct way.

Tendril grinned, clearly delighted. She felt almost as if her paws itched, something at could only be satisfied by the feel of the cool forest ground beneath her feet. With the leftover snow melting, the wood's temperature would be rather crisp and cold - the only thing about winter that she truly enjoyed.
"Thank you," She said, flicking her ear at Kass's acceptance. Tendril dug her claws into the soft soil beneath her paws, and dipped her head toward Serafina before she spoke a second time.
"Any specific plans for the hunt? Or just a look-and-see?" The Huntress asked, glancing towards the camp exit in curiosity.

River nodded as Shadow spoke. She felt bad that the Alpha seemed surprised that she mentioned going on patrol, she shook it off to maybe catching her off guard. As Shadow licked her ear River smiled, "Always, I had a great teacher to show me the ropes" she replied back, gazing in admiration of her friend. River flicked her tail "I guess I should go meet back up with Fish and Rain before they leave me" she said with a giggle before dipping her head to Shadow.

River turned and bounded back towards Fish and Rain. She shook out her fur once she stopped "Alright, we're good to go!" [i] she said cheerfully, part of her was thankful they hadn't left on patrol without her. But she trusted Fish and knew she wouldn't leave her behind.

Risen nodded as Smoke spoke, he was unsure of how to respond. So he breathed in relief as Thessa responded with a teasing manner. He flicked his tail gently as he looked around for any signs of prey. The hunter turned his attention back to Thessa as she answered his question regarding hunting duties.

[i] "Of course, we hope to not find a buck right now. I was just thinking aloud for the worst case." he said feeling a bit of tension. He scolded himself for not keeping his mouth shut and for asking the question. Here he was, one of the younger wolves. Asking things he shouldn't. Risen turned his attention back to his surroundings as the scents began to grow stronger.

Blaze dipped his head as Octavia began to leave the meidc den. He knew there wasn't much left for him to say without sounding odd. He turned his attention back to Aleck with a smile. "have you eaten yet today?" he asked with a soft flick of his tail. The dark wolf wouldn't let anyone know - he had a habit of showing Aleck the most affection than the other wolves. Perhaps the most affection he had shown ever. He had a genuine what felt like instinct to take care of the medic.

Destiny wagged her tail softly as Hati had invited her on the hunt. She dipped her head in thanks "yes please, that would be incredible" she said softly. "It's either that or sit around here and wait until someone needs an extra set of paws" she added in a joking tone. Overall, Destiny was thankful for having a reason to leave the camp that afternoon. She also wouldn't mind getting to know Hati a bit more, as they had only spoken in passing. "Perhaps someone would like to join us" she said before shaking her fur and looking around the camp to see if any other hunters or all - arounders were available.

Thessadowes shook her head. She picked up on a little change in Risen's tone, and wondered if she had come on a bit too discriminatory. The she-wolf did not mean to do so, only wishing to keep her packmates safe. Perhaps she didn't quite know how to form this into correct words...
"I understand! It is good for you to think ahead. It's always better to form an unused plan than not have one in time of need." She added warmly, tilting her head at Risen. She admired his analysis, and was glad he had thought about a potential problem.

They looked at the spot where Erle and Arian were, they noticed they were gone. "I guess Arian left with her group. We need to get Cartel and head out to the north border" she says trotting over to where Cartel was

Lucas wasn't disappointed that Leo didn't seem to react especially to his flirty behavior, but he supposed that this was Leo he was talking to. He'd known his friend throughout his life and never, not once, had Leo actually reciprocated his actions (or anyone else's flirtacious behaviors) in earnest. Lucas wondered if this had anything to do with the time that Leo had been away from the pack. Lucas had been through his own issues in that time period and for all that he loved and trusted Leo, he couldn't tell him what had transpired, not the full extent of it. Leo, who was always happy and flirty and fun... Lucas couldn't place his extra weight on the pale wolf's shoulders.

"That sounds like a great idea, Louve." He told the she-wolf with a smile and a nod, turning his gaze to Leo. "Let's head out now, shall we? The three of us should be patrol enough." He looked over his shoulder to Rya. "You can catch up if you decide to go too." He said to the other wolf, before he started off in the direction of the camp exit. "Leo, you coming?"

Enui had been expecting to be addressed eventually, but not this way. Still, she couldn't let it faze her. She regained her composure, replacing her chaotic laugh with a relaxed smile. What was the point in hiding her previous action? She'd been called out on it and she wasn't going to hide simply for the reason that she might get scolded. Besides, while she admired her Alpha, dearly, she had the feeling that he wouldn't respect someone in turn, who would grovel at his paws with apologies.

"Yes, my Alpha, I was laughing at the form of address one of my pack mates referred to you by. I've certainly never heard 'your highness' used before. While I understand that you are considerably taller than Archer is, I still find it amusing enough to partake in an involuntary laugh." She inclined her head to her Alpha. "I do hope I didn't disturb you, my Alpha. Shall I leave you to your conversation? I did want an audience with you, but if you're busy, I can find you at another time?" She suggested.

She opened her jaws to answer the other healer trainee but didn't have time to say anything before their mentor showed up. She blinked her eyes not so surprised that the healer was already sorted their herb storage "Good morning Terra, we were already waiting for you..." she said with a flick of her tail. She looked at Kotori as the healer finished talking "are you hungry Kotori wants to share something with me perhaps?" she asked the male trainee.

He narrowed his eyes "I didn't try to order you around, I just told you...you don't want to be around when the others get hungry and angry because of that..." he responded to her with a sight. His eyes looked to his half-sister Nyx there talking with Risen "hmm, well at least someone is being useful to do things without waiting for some orders" he said to her "you know we don't have a lead hunter to order you around..." he said with a smirk.

She looked at Risen "I think we could say it to her after we're back, as I don't want to give them any false hope if we don't even find any deers or the herds...those herds can still be around or maybe they're far away already..." she responded to him. She blinked her eyes to Smoke's answer "...I thought this whole thing was your idea?" she said with a sight "warrior or not, hunters may need warriors assistance with hunts so...I don't see any problem for a warrior to hunt at least sometimes" she said. She stopped speaking with a sight, her eyes looked at the closeness between the all-around and the warrior, feeling a little left out for a moment, but she didn't really care that either.

He was not planning to eat it all, which was not even possible as it was still pretty big for a small deer. He took a bite as his eyes looked at the cleaning for anyone else wanting to eat.

She looked at the male wolf then toward the side he offered them to take "okay..." she responded simply. She started to walk "I think finding prey now could be easy, I mean I didn't see many to get out at camp earlier....likely the hunters are being lazy and we have better chances to catch something cool," she said with a flick of her tail.

He nodded to the alpha "Ah don't worry I think there are not going to be any problems" he said o him. The scout's eyes looked over to the all-around as she walked to them or to the Max mostly. He lightly rolled his eyes at the she-wolf come about his choice of words earlier "Highness is prase or a joke, it's up to the other how they take it" he murmured as he walked past the she-wolf he barely even know much. He didn't leave there to bother them any more than just walking toward the clearing.

He looked after his friend there with a wave of his black tail "yeah see you later...have fun" he said with a smirk before turning to look elsewhere. The black warrior started to think about what he could do now then.

She silently watched after the medic, she could see his nervousness but didn't find anything odd about that. She gave a look to the Blaze as well, as the medic was bringing the remedy for her little problem "oh thank you Aleck" she responded as she took the remedy "yeah I will come to you if I needed to thank you again" she said to him with a soft smile as she started to make her leave.

She stayed there watching in peacefully, as the pack started to rise from their dens. Stretching the black-furred she-wolf stood up and started her walk toward some of the hunters she saw being alone "Good morning Miera" she said with a gentle nod and a smile. She gave a look around before turning to face the other hunter "you ready for a hunt? with me or well we could ask any other with use, more hunters means more prey right" she said.

She looked at the other hunter which was not Catalia they were looking for, but at least someone else did volunteer to come with them. She gave a little grumpy face to Kass when she called the she-wolf darling, but she shook her feelings down immediately, that was her style of speaking it was not only her she used those words. She gave a sight "well now when you joined the party then we could go then...we don't really have a place in mind just go and see where the path takes us" she responded her eyes looked over to the two hunters "If you then have someplace in mind? No need to hide your wants from us" she said to Tendril..

Blizzard couldn’t apologize. If he did, he wouldn’t know what he was apologizing for, but he didn’t want Mick to be upset either. It was the LAST thing he wanted, in fact, so he just nodded, gently licking the white wolf's ear. "It’s okay, we'll get things sorted out one way or another," he promised.

Max couldn't blame either party. An Alpha could be called many things, but h’d never heard the your highness before, but he understood where Archer came from. It certainly was high praise. He nodded for Enui to come join them, beckoning the she-wolf over. "No, it’s quite alright. It’s a slow start this morning. Cartel's been requested for patrol, and I’ve already assigned Archer to go with a hunting party. What did you need?" He asked.

Smoke tilted her head to the side in confusion. "The way Shadow taught me and my mother brought me up, since Warriors don’t have training for hunts, it’s not safe for them to partake. It’s our job to guard during hunting parties. If a wolf wants to fight and hunt alike, they’re supposed to become an All-Around." Had the rules changed and she hadn’t been aware of it? News to her.

Shadow didn’t have many wolves she considered friends, but she had trained several youngsters in her time, and River was one of her favourites. Not as much of a troublemaker as Smoke, not as unpredictable as Karter. She was well mannered, if not energetic. A fine Warrior indeed. "Have fun out there, and remember to be careful!" She knew it wasn't about fun, but why not, when patrolling with friends? Let her enjoy her youth!

Toby was quiet for a bit after that himself,just trying to clear his mind. Then he slowly breathed in. The air was thick with prey scent if one was to pay attention. "Okay, here," he announced. "Can you smell anything? If so, from which direction, and how recent?" He asked. He’d tuned his senses pretty well, anything she could smell, he reckoned he’d have already found, or be able to pick up on pretty quickly.

"So far the plan is just to look around and see if anything is in the nearby area. The prey pile is running frightfully low, and several wolves won’t have the chance to eat breakfast, so it’d be nice to contribute. Feed our Pack. You know, like we're supposed to." Amusement flickered through the black she-wolf's voice. "Any requests on hunting area?" She didn’t miss the grumpy look that crossed Serafina's face though. A look she knew well. "Oh my my, what’s the matter, Sera? Tell me I don’t detect jealousy. What's to be so envious of?"

"Sounds like a plan," Móraín agreed. It would be good to get moving. She didn’t really care much about her work, if she was being honest, but she’d been instructed, and so she would do as ordered, and besides, she had to do her part. This Pack was her home. She owed them that much, at least. As they approached the small group, she dipped her head to the gathered wolves, but she would leave the talking to Canary for now.

With an awkward silence from Rya for some time now, since the arrival of Louve and Lucas— was she shy of them?— Leo shot her an awkward smile. The others were waiting, and he had already agreed to join them on the trek. "Yeah, I’m coming," he promised, facing Louve and Lucas again.

“Nope, definitely not siblings but thank you though. Your fur isn’t that bad, I actually quite like the colour. It adds change to the mix so you seriously have nothing to worry about. Lucky I’m not a hunter, could you imagine that with this mop of fur?” Louve asked, turning her blue eyes between her two companions as they moved over more and more ground.
