Karter narrowed his eyes at Cosmo. "You’re lucky this time. I’m just warning you. Get. Over. It. Learn a lesson in humility. There’s a difference between pride and arrogance." Then he turned and darted towards Terra, not quite sure if she actually needed help, or if it was her best attempt to dissipate the tension of the situation. Either way, he was glad. He brushed his muzzle against his sister's. She was the older of the two, and he couldn’t help but think, the wiser. She knew when was too much from an outside perspective. When it came to her siblings, especially so. "Thanks for the save."

She sighed and nuzzled him "you're welcome, I don't want you, Toby, or Kotori to get more hurt anymore then you already are" she says worryly, she tensed up and closes her eyes "I can't handle anymore bad news about anyone I care about the most" she whispers

The beautiful lighter tan she wolf twitched black lined ears. The amber eyed one stood still as Terra placed the cobwebs. She felt as they were then attached together. She nodded and said "Okay," then watched her leave. She herself headed out, and wandered a bit. She then went to the prey pile, finding a bigger rabbit and taking it.

The kind and caring but shy and nervous black one made a small sound. S/he nodded to their trainer, and said "Okay." They trotted over to the prey, and grabbed some elk. Saffron had suggested it, so they took some of it. They are it, then turned towards the dens. They hummed a canine sound as they headed in, getting in their nest.

The beautiful amber eyed gray wolf snorted a bit, like she was holding back a chuckle. She said "Yeah, maybe a bit too early." She then walked over and got Grief. She waited for Talon to get up and take Masamune.

They had been through a lot in their past, and now it was only more drama. Karter knew that of the three named, he was the most likely to get hurt or killed one day, as a Warrior. It was why Terra always looked out for him. He took a couple deep breaths to calm himself down. "I'm always kept so busy, but…I never tell you how much I appreciate you. We've had a lot of siblings before, known a lot of wolves, but…" he nudged his head under Terra's, being as tiny as he was. An attempt at a hug. "You're the best sister and best wolf I know."

She smiles and hugs him back, "I love hearing that, especially after seeing Rowan dead body and feeling as though Storm was blaming me for Rowan's death" she says, she sighs "though Rowan's died was partly my fault" she says her voice cracking a little. She let's go of Karter and backs up a bit to look him in the eyes "promise me, you'll think of those you care about, before doing something you'll regret" she asks him

"I promise. I’ll do my best, but you know I don’t always think right." The brown Warrior blinked. "Rowan's death was NOT your fault. He made his own decision. The only wolf at fault here is the wolf who killed him." Emotion could make someone do crazy things. Karter figured they both knew that well, after the incidents in their own pasts, but that only made self-blame easier, he reckoned. "So stop blaming yourself. Just…pray he’s safe with the sky-dogs now, and focus on the wolves you still DO have. Kotori, me and Toby, YOURSELF. ESPECIALLY yourself. You need a lot of care right now, both self and outside. I know how Toby is. He’s protective. He and I are gonna take care of you, even if you refuse to quit blamin' yourself. Even if ya don’t wanna sleep or eat or anythin', I’ll come by and lay next to you for a while, and bring food in when I have to."

Karter may be the younger between the two, but even a Healer needed care sometimes, and while he may not know how to comfort someone, just for a while, he needed to try.

Storm was relieved to hear that Shadow gave her support and she dipped her head to her leader.
"Thank you, Alpha." She said, only for her ears to prick at the sound of conflict. It seemed that Karter had learned what sour company Cosmo tended to be. She would've moved to intercept, but Terra had gotten there first and was now walking away with Karter.

"For sky-dog's sake - why can't she just do her job instead of butting into every wolf's business?" She asked, rolling her eyes. "She may have desired to deny me healing, but she ought to be taking care of the other injured wolves." She turned her gaze to Shadow. "I hate to suggest it, but perhaps if you called a motion for all injured wolves to line up in front of the Healers den, Terra might remember that she has a job to do, instead of chatting away at the expense of our packmates?" She advised the Alpha. "Though, of course, I know I haven't a place to offer advice, my Alpha. Your word is law - I'm not trying to sway it." She added quickly.

Shadow's shredded ear throbbed, but after asserting herself to take a side, she figured for a few more minutes, at least, she would not be welcome with the Healers. That was alright. It wasn’t as bad as the scars on her back and shoulder, even if it stung like nothing else. Right now, her priority had to be the wolves around her. In this case, that included Storm, after the little upset with the Healer. When Storm directed her attention elsewhere, Shadow let her gaze settle on the tense form that was Karter, just before he darted off to be with his sister. At the very least, Terra had done ONE things to de-escalate a situation since the battle.

"Don’t worry," Shadow assured her. "I doubt there would be a wolf here, save Cosmo, perhaps, chaotic as he is, who would try to give me an ORDER except in the case of an emergency. Once all the wolves have made it back, I will. We have to pick up the pieces. I have yet to see Leo or Lucas make their way home though, or Rain, for that matter…" her voice trailed off. Leo and Rain. Her pups weren’t home yet. They should’ve been, a long time ago at that.

Red had been carefully moving the cobwebs from the crevices onto the flat stone when Arian approached.
"Well, we've got cobwebs. There are some bits and pieces of leaves, but sky-dogs only know what those are for." She shook her head. "Dung, maybe not even they know." She told the Lead Warrior, only to hear the she-wolf rush away. Huffing, she continued with her self-appointed task, trying to clean up the den as she went, until she heard another wolf enter. Turning her head around, she spotted another Warrior, Raymond, standing there.

"Were you sent here, or have you just come to gawk?" She asked him. "Because I'm a little busy here and unless you've got something to tell me, you can turn right around and be useful somewhere else."

Enui | Fire Beta | Location: Alpha's Den | Tagging: Max (mentions: Erle, Arian)

Enui slowed her pace when she realized that Max had been near sleeping inside, but she didn't stall for long. She stood in front of him, looking down at the Alpha as he gazed up at her. He had asked if everything was okay and she breathed in, endeavoring to hold herself together.

"The camp will recover as will our wolves within it. I retrieved Erle from the borders and saw the final Lightning wolf off our territory - on the threat that we will delight in his death if he remains. Coal is watching the borders to ensure that none cross back for that very reason." She informed her Alpha. "As there did not seem to be much else for me to do, I thought I might take my Alpha's suggestion and rest up sooner than later." She moved to a far corner of the den, knowing better than to cozy up to the Alpha - such a thing would surely be improper and she didn't have it in her to get rejected by two males back to back.

"My thanks, for your hospitality." She said as she settled down towards the back of the den, facing away from Max. As she could no longer see him, she let herself bury her nose in her front paws and she let out a trembling, muffled sob. She may have been a master of hiding her feelings from her pack mates, but during a point of great heartache, even she needed to allow herself a brief reprieve to feel them, even if they hurt.
