Enui stared at Erle. He...had a mate? Arian was his mate? Since when? Her lip twitched towards the beginning of a snarl, but she mastered her expression and it fell carefully blank.
"I did not realize that you had a mate." She replied, her voice void of emotions. "I am curious to know why you are sorry, however. Are you sorry that you took Arian as a mate? Or are you sorry because you fear repercussion from your Beta - that I might use my rank against you, a mere Warrior?" She gave a brief shake of her head. "I shall have to stay curious - for any reason you give me will surely be an excuse and nothing more. Return to the pack that you failed to protect, Erle, we're done here." She told him and placed her injured paw down on the ground. Suddenly, it was as though he was the same as that Lightning wolf he'd been fighting - someone she refused to show her weakness to.

She strode away, into the camp and across the clearing. Despite telling him earlier that she'd wait until moon high - which was still a few hours away - Enui padded right into the Alpha's Den, for now it was more than her paw that was hurting. With how adamant Max had been that she get some rest earlier, she doubted he would begrudge her the few hours of extra rest now.

Karter could only roll his eyes at Cosmo's insistence that Lux had cheate. "I'm saying you’re tellin' me he cheated, and admitted it, and it’s literally impossible for him to cheat. One either wins or doesn’t win, and they do ANYTHING they have to in order to claim victory, there’s no trick too underhanded, so either you didn’t pay attention in your training, or you’re a sore loser."

"Trust me, I understand," Grant promised, voice soft, gently brushing his muzzle against his worried mate's. After all, he was a parent too. "The last time I saw him, Lucas was crossing the river with Leo. The two work marvellously as a team. They are a set that oughtn't be separated. They ducked off to the side upon landing, so I figure they just need a moment to process. You know how youngsters are. It can be overwhelming."

Grant wasn’t particularly worried about Lucas though, for if Shadow had called on him to fight, then that must mean that she, a seasoned fighter, saw that he was ready for something as big as the battle that had taken place that day.

"Up ALL NIGHT just to groom? Sky-dogs, Mick…you COULD ask someone to help you, y'know. There’s plenty of wolves around. I’m sure at LEAST one of them would be willing to lend a hand." Blizzard head butted him. Then he extended his leg to display that wound that showed through sleek white fur.

"Thanks, Rain, I will." Leo licked Rain's forehead and nudged his sister back towards camp before returning his focus to Lucas. "Heh, maybe a little, but I’m her big brother. She’s just worried about me is all. It’s good to see that even though she came in from the outside, she has a strong sense of family within the Pack."

Leo turned to groom some stray fur back into place on Lucas' shoulder, taking advantage of the closeness in order to do so. "I can’t WAIT to see the looks on their faces!" He agreed.


Shadow | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Terra, Storm, Ambrose


"Excuse me a moment," Shadow murmured, nodding to her Beta as an enraged Healer marched over, accompanied by Storm. Shadow only offered an expression, unblinking stare, neither warm nor hostile. "I asked for all able bodies. She deemed herself able and does not yet rest in the nursery. Therefore, in accordance with our rules, she was following Pack law. Anyone can make a wrong move, Terra. It’s risky for everyone. Anyone who was sent out there could’ve died. As she’s not even half a month into her pregnancy, her mobility is not yet hindered." At Terra's commentary towards Storm though, the Alpha growled, a warning. "That is NO way for any Healer worth their work to be speaking to their packmates, Terra. Should you make good on your threat, as a leader and caretaker, I will not turn a blind eye to your neglect."

Shadow returned her gaze to Storm amd shook her head. "Of course not. Healers have work, as we all do. Should she really try to deny you entry, we will have Kotori treat you while I deal with Terra. Under such circumstances, knowing she could be facing a lot here, I doubt she’d mean it. She’s speaking in a fit of emotion. I believe it’s her way of grieving. Thank you for coming to my defence there."


Arian | Lead Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Erle, mentions Enui, Max, Red | Location: Camp


Pausing from awaiting her reply from Red and spotting the Beta returning, seemingly tense, relief washed over Arian. She had worried when Enui had stayed away so long, and nodded towards the Alpha den. "Alpha is inside if you’re looking for him, but he’s resting," she warned. She'd woken Max before, gotten snarled at by a wolf thrice her size. Fun times. However, she suspected he would be softer with Enui if roused. She seemed the wolf he was closest to. Enui's tension was cause for concern though, as she did not even acknowledge those around her, only made straight for the Alpha den. Then a voice was calling for Arian and she whirled around. Erle. Alive and well enough to have made it back on his own, from the looks of it.

"Erle! Erle, what happened? Is everything okay?" Arian turned and bolted towards him. The Healer den mystery could be solved in a few minutes. "You…You stayed away so long, missed the whole battle, and then Beta said she’d go look for you, and she came back without you…" Arian pushed her forehead against the black furred Warrior's chest. "I’m so glad you’re okay…"


Max | Alpha | F-Pack | Tagging: Enui


Max had been in a state of half consciousness, drifting in and out, for the past half hour or so since the Lightning wolves had left their territory. He lifted his head as footsteps sounded at the entrance of his den though, bringing himself to alertness. Breathing in, he caught Enui's scent. He had not been expecting her until later, but surely wasn’t about to argue. The more rest she had, with her injuries, the better, especially with no full-fledged Healer to treat them.

"Enui? Is everything okay?" Enui was a stubborn wolf, yet she had caved for rest earlier so easily when arguing so hard on compromise about it earlier? Had something happened to have tired her out?

Karter growled, fighting back the outright snarl that wanted to erupt. By how he talked, Cosmo put down and shamed every Warrior who had ever fought. Including the wolves who had fought today. "Really? 'Cause I sure didn’t see you in the fight today. I guess Alpha figured it’d be better to leave you behind to defend camp than throw your scraps of skills away in battle. Even though she sent a couple Trainees in. Doesn’t that tell ya somethin' there, Cosmo? You really are full of yourself, aren’t you? Y'know what? I PITY you," he decided, shooting Cosmo a side-eyed glance. "Because one day, that cockiness is gonna go to your head, and one day, that’s gonna get you killed. You may not believe me, but I know what I’m talkin' about. I’ve seen it happen. Wolves get arrogant. They get crazy in the head, and sometimes, that’s the end for them."

cosmo growled, wanting to prove the other wolf that xe was right.
xe just wanted to lash out at karter, but knew it would probably hurt him and then get xem into trouble.

It wasn’t the "I told you so" that bothered Karter so much as the big head and callous demeanour. All too familiar. Another face flashed into his mind. Another wolf who, given the opportunity, might’ve said the exact same thing. On some level, it made the brown furred Warrior snap. Cosmo wasn’t making any sense! His big head was overpowering ANY sense of logic now. For all his pity for the wolf who would die of his arrogance one day, without a doubt, there was also anger. Anger that triggered Karter's reckless streak, and he himself lost his ability to find logic.

"You can tell me ‘I told you' whenever you want. It doesn’t make a difference to me. What makes a difference is your cockiness. It’s DANGEROUS, Cosmo. I knew a wolf like that once, and it DESTROYED him. Him and his entire family. All because he didn’t know when to give it a rest. You’re not going to change though, are you? You’re going to be like him?" Karter's lips peeled back in the start of a snarl, hackles raising. He knew there would be trouble, but that didn’t matter. For a brief moment, Cosmo wasn't his Packmate and ally. For a moment, the wolf was his worst enemy. No…No no no…I need to find Terra and Toby. They're the ones who'll be able to keep me from doing something I’ll regret.

The beautiful lighter tan she wolf twitched black lined ears. The amber eyed one looked to Terra, and she let her put the cobwebs on. She knew the ear would probably heal. She then stood up, and she waited for the other cobwebs.

The kind and caring but shy and nervous black one made a small sound. S/he nodded to their trainer, and said "Okay." They trotted over to the prey, and grabbed some elk. Saffron had suggested it, so they took some of it. They are it, then turned towards the dens. They hummed a canine sound as they headed in, getting in their nest.

The beautiful amber eyed gray wolf snorted a bit, like she was holding back a chuckle. She said "Yeah, maybe a bit too early." She then walked over and got Grief. She waited for Talon to get up and take Masamune.

Terra picks up the webs, draping it over Nadia's back and wrapped the rest around her "Okay, be careful laying down, it might rip" she says fastening the webs to her, she trotted over to the entrance and said "I am done, now I have to go check on the rest of our packmates" then trotted out

After she got out there, she noticed Karter tensing up and looked as though he was going to lung at the ignorant wolf in front of him, with wided eyes she charged over, "Karter, I need you for a second" she says with an argent look
