Shadow fought the urge to curl her larger body tight around her adopted daughter and check her over to make sure, but she couldn’t catch any blood scent from the young she-wolf, so she could only trust that Rain was right until they got home. She couldn’t lose more of her young, and for that reason, had been devastated when they’d announced they wanted to take the path of Warriors, but there had been nothing she could do but set them up with the best trainers available and hoped for the best.

"Well I mean, there’s plenty of attractive and interesting wolves in the Pack. It’s not a given." Blizzard stared down at the tiny paw resting over his, but made no move to pull away. And…well, what was I supposed to do when the guy was grilling you about a little sleep-in earlier?" He pointed out.

Terra huffed at the fact Ambrose ignored her, she turns her attention to Sandie who was clearly panicking "Sandie the best you can do is staying with your son" she says in a calming tone, she gently pushed Sandie over to the Nursery.

She trotted back to her den to check on Kotori, "Okay, looking good. Are we missing anything?" She says wondering to herself

Red had breathed out a sigh of deep relief when the Lightning wolves were called to leave. Knowing her pack mates would ensure that they left, she turned around and padded into the Healers Den, stepping around the body of their fallen healer. She snorted derisively at Grief and then focused her gaze into the den.

She had little idea what strips of leaves and grasses did what, but she could spot one thing tucked away in a corner that every warrior trainee encountered sooner or later - cobwebs. She reached up a paw and swabbed some of the cobwebs out onto it, before lowering her paw and trying to locate some place she could put them more centrally located. She located a flat slab of rock and deposited the cobwebs there. Her nose twitching, she started to pick out the sharp, tangy scents of torn or dried leaves among the dirt. Maybe some of them, whatever they were, could yet be salvaged.

"Yeah, for sure! Dinner and a night together, huh? Sounds like a good time to me." Blizzard brushed his cheek against the Hunter's gently. "It’s a date!"

The hunt had been successful, and they’d brought down the bull elk. Dragging it back to camp and feeling incredibly pleased and proud, it took Toby a moment to realize…camp was next to empty. Toby didn’t say anything until they’d hauled the elk over to rest next to the pile of smaller prey though. "Where did everybody go?"

Enui watched as a Lightning warrior sprinted to Shadow's side and seemingly convinced her to back down. She observed their retreat and for a moment, she considered attacking the Alpha while her back was turned - just to finally end this foolish war once and for all. But sky-dogs... she couldn't put any pressure on her paw without feeling it buckle beneath her.

So, she settled to hold her paw up as she watched Shadow and her pack mates leave. When they were finally out of sight, she turned to Coal.
"You're a hunter, aren't you? Follow them from afar, to ensure that they all get over the river. I don't want anyone staying over our border thinking they can get the jump on us." With a nod, the youngster took off and she was left to survey the damage. Bodies from both packs littered the floor. She counted at least two from their side - most notably Grief, their only healer. She did not see Erle in the camp and her chest tightened in concern. She would go looking for him - but it was up to her and Max to repair the damages in the camp.

He's fine. She told herself. Get yourself together, Enui. Of course he's fine. He's more than capable of handling himself. She shook herself a bit and then turned her head one way and then the other until she spotted Max. He wasn't too far away from her and she strode over, unable to disguise her limp. Still, she held her head eye and her gaze scanned him up and down.

"My Alpha, the enemies have retreated. We have won." She told him. "However, we lost our sole Healer in the process." She sighed, a soft admittance of defeat. "But, the very least, it looks like we've got the bulk of our leads in tact. And our Alpha, of course. In good health, I trust?" She asked, ever polite and respectful.
