(Just very quick, IcyKyrstal, I’d like to note wolves don’t have claws that sheathe and unsheathe like a cat's, they’re more like blunt nails than anything.)
Fish | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Rain | Location: Camp
Fish didn’t block, didn’t try to dodge. There would be time for that lesson later. Rain was so small in comparison to her though. It would have to be done carefully, and for now, the best way to train her was to observe and help her sort out her fighting form. "Next time, when you’re faced with an opponent more than twice your size, wait until you get closer to jump. As you jump early, you lose height as you go, which does you no favours and leaves you vulnerable," she warned. "If I’d wanted to, at that height, it would’ve been all too easy for me to have knocked you aside."
Arian | Lead Warrior | F-Pack | Tagging: Erle | Location: Forest
It was certainly an odd thought, and yet, somehow soothing to know that she really HAD known Erle almost her whole life, and didn’t just wonder about if he’d been there before her active memory formed. Now Arian smiled at the wording. She reached up to brush his shoulder, for that was as high as she could reach on her own, a brief, affectionate gesture. "Don’t worry. I’m not trying to accuse you of anything. It was simply a wondering on my end. If your heart is warm around me, then that’s what’s important. Though I suppose my being beautiful doesn’t hurt either." Was Arian a bit vain? Okay, maybe. But she figured that with the care she put into herself— including her appearance— she was entitled to an offhand comment every now and then. "Well as fate or luck or whatever you wish to call it would have it…it's not some unrequited love," she agreed.
Leo | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Lucas | Location: Camp
Leo's formerly goofy and bright expression dimmed. Lucas' voice seemed void of hope that they would see the end of it. The idea of living their ENTIRE lives fighting though…it didn’t feel right. He wouldn’t oppose his mother, should she feel this was right, but that didn’t make it hurt any less. "Warriors wouldn’t be any less needed to help KEEP the peace, and the protect the Packs from outside threats though, right?" Leo tilted his head to the side. "Oak left with Nadia and Karter not too long ago, but sure! Anything to get out of camp for a bit."
Shadow | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Ambrose | Location: Camp
"Oh look at me, Ambrose." A glimmer of amusement shone in her eyes though. "I’m not the thinnest wolf in the world, and we're in the good hunting season. You don’t need to worry yourself over me. It’s nice to know you care, though." Shadow was a fully capable wolf, a fine Warrior before she had been Alpha. She could take care of herself, she knew what she was doing…and she also knew that Ambrose knew it as well as she did, but would still not stand down. He would stand by her, and truly, she appreciated it. Watching the gentle prompting of play, it took Shadow a moment. She’d seen Leo play like that though. She understood. Did grown wolves play? Much less in the middle of a war? I suppose it keeps morale high, which can’t be a bad thing. So she finally surrendered, standing and gently nipping the Beta's ear before giving chase to her companion.
