Angel - Tagging: Riley
Angel frowned a little at Riley’s confession. If all wolves agreed to love each other than such love disputes would never occur. Still, deciding this wasn’t a good time to preach his beliefs to this new mother, he sighed. He had to speak her language: that of the tedium of monogamy.
“You just told him that you love him tonight, right? Well on the one paw, he could just need time to process this information so even if he comes back from the Meet undecided, you still have time to win him over if you are utterly desperate. However, I suspect with all your waterworks and howling that you’ve already realized that the probability of him returning your affections in the way you want him to his slim. After all, wouldn’t get have said he loved you back at the time of your confession if he did?” He let that sink in and then went on.
“Plus if you were never in a relationship beyond friendship to begin with, there’s nothing about him to lose. Wolves don’t just stop being friends with each other because they’ve suddenly found a mate. Unless he’s a cruel wolf, I suppose. Do you think Leo is heartless and cruel?” He asked her.
“I don’t, at any rate. And I don’t think the way you’re carrying about this is very healthy. You’re making a lot of racket to no ones benefit including your own. Stay inside the Nursery, stay with your pups and go to sleep. You’ll feel rested when you wake, which is the first step to feeling better.” He stood. “Chin up, Riley. There are plenty of wolves that would want you as their mate... provided you took the time to stop moping and actually look around for a change.”
