Alita nodded as Thunder gave her orders, ignoring any words that came out of Smoke's mouth. [removed] Her large brown eyes looked to Thunder when the deed was done, waiting for any kind of reaction.

Flurry

Flurry narrowed her eyes, watching the whole commotion with an oddly relaxed demeanor. As the problems rumbled on, she simply shifted around and watched with vague curiosity. However, when their new Alpha Thunder sent the wolf Alita forwards to break Smoke's legs.. the pale Huntress didn't know quite how to react. She certainly didn't care for most of these wolves, let alone someone she had never met.. and was once from a rival Pack, to top it all off. Flurry tensed her shoulders and laid back her ears, her hackles tingling with an odd sensation as a crack emitted from the she-wolf's bones. She flinched forwards, but stayed back and instead watched with curiosity, staying as silent as she had before.

SMOKE | Warrior | Night Pack | Tagging: Night Wolves | Location: Camp


Smoke clenched her jaw. The teeth in her leg didn’t hurt. As a Warrior she’d taken bites and scrapes and bruises, she’d been hit and battered, but she had never once broken a bone, so when Alita wrenched her leg, she sank her blunt claws into the earth underneath her, and fought back a cry, but at the wrenching she screeched and lashed her tail behind her. She wanted to call out for Starfire, but Starfire could do nothing, she’d only get her mate in more trouble, and Starfire walking away was the reason for this in the first place.

Don't blame her...she didn’t know how react. She separated to regain her calm. Smoke reminded herself, but even remembering that was hard. She glared at Alita from the corner of her eye. With the Lightning Pack, Alita had never been quite so callous or cruel. That was just the way of the Night Pack though. Even Smoke herself had felt a shift when the starry wolf had spoken to her. She felt less of the usual empathy, more of a cold curiosity. She glanced at Flurry from the corner of her eye, noticing the flicker of motion, but hurriedly shook her head. Don’t get yourself in trouble too...

Flurry's cold and relaxed facial expression changed to that of a softer note as poor Smoke shook her muzzle. Sure, the lithe Huntress wasn't one to feel too many emotions, and most of all, sympathy, but she couldn't help herself now. Her eyes widened the slightest bit, and in them shone barely recognizable flicks of sorrow for the she-wolf. If only I could do something to help... she hissed to herself, clenching her jaw but not moving a single muscle.

He looked up. He shook his head a bit. Im scared mummy, he whimpered.

Cody curled herself around her son, pulling him close. "Cloudy...what’re you scared of? It’s okay. Your dad and I are here to keep you safe," She promised in a murmur.

Cinnamon
Fire Pack | Scout Trainee | Location: Forest | Tagging: Kitsune, Wraith

Cinnamon darted after Kitsune, her chest feeling unnaturally tight as she caught up to the other Trainee and matched her pace. After they walked in silence, and Kitsune broke the silence with a faint murmur, the rusty brown she-wolf creased her brows with slight worry. "Maybe.. wait, hang on.." She said, but cut herself off quickly as her hackles rose, each hair standing nervously on end. There was a scent floating faintly through the air.. the scent of some predator, as it definitely wasn't a wolf's. She placed her nose towards the ground and inhaled deeply, a shiver running down her spine as she did. "Here, do you smell that?" Cinnamon asked in a quiet tone, hoping that the scent didn't belong to what she thought it did. Perhaps it was a trick of her nose?

Wraith lowered her head, and took a long smell in. Her ice blue eyes widened slightly as she recognized the scent, and she sniffed a few more times to make sure it was really there.
"Oh man... I smell it too." She confirmed, her voice low. Her eyes began to dart around quickly, her fluffy black tail pressing closer to her legs.

Cinnamon
Fire Pack | Scout Trainee | Location: Forest | Tagging: Kitsune, Wraith

Cinnamon let out a small string of curses in her head as she rose to her paws. "Cougar." She said out loud, even though it was most likely unnecessary. The scent was most certainly not strong, but that didn't mean it wasn't there. The lithe Trainee pressed her ears against her head and squinted, trying to see in which way this said cougar had gone. Normally, she would follow the scent trail, but due to the wind it could have been blown into a false trail leading somewhere else. On the other hand, things like broken twigs and paw prints could tell the true path. "Kitsune, what do you think?" Cinnamon asked, casting a glance towards the other Trainee. It was clear from her voice she wanted to turn back, but at the same time pursue this trail.
