As Miles walked through the forest, he caught the smell of one of his fellow pack mates. He walked and saw Huron. He walked up and said, "Hey Huron."

Peeta/male/Tags: Jasmin, Frost, Catania/Location: Healer's den/F-pack Warrior
He said, "Thank you Jasmin for helping me. I should get going." His paw felt much better and he hopped down. Without a glance or word to both Frost and Catania, he exited and didn't turn back.

Accalia ruffled her mottled spinal fur and tilted her head at Dark. “Of course. I’m always happy to help.” She smiled, her tail swinging softly from side to side. “I’ll see you around.” The Healer briefly touched her nose to the Warrior’s shoulder with farewell and respect before turning around to face her den once more. She trotted forwards and scrambled up the side, returning to the roof- and to Quicksilver. “Sorry about that,” Accalia apologized, settling down next to the Trainee and pulling a strand of moss towards herself.

xxxHuron had his eyes closed as he exhaled deeply, but he turned his head when he heard a fellow packmate. He hadn't ever really conversed with many before, and the name didn't come to his head easily. He nodded his head and flicked his tail over his front paws, tilting his head up. "What brings you out into the forest today?" He asked, head tilted.

He said, "I've got nothing to do right now. I wish my sister was here. My brother is still moping. I just want my sister."

xxx"And...who is your sister, and brother, pray tell?" He tilted his head to the side and asked, he really had no idea about the Fire Pack wolves except for a select few of them. He didn't want to ask for the wolf's name, knowing that it might come off as rude or uncaring that he didn't know. The black wolf blinked slowly, his emerald green eyes shining in the sunlight.

He said, "Peeta is my brother. He's moping so ya. Wednesday, my sister... she... she thought it would be best for her to go to... to... LightningPack. She already met someone over. She told me his name, but I forgot. It would be a better fit for my sister. I just miss her. What brings you out into the forest Huron?"

xxxHuron nodded his head slowly and turned his face to feel the sun kissing the dark fur around his head, breathing in deeply and exhaling. He felt his body balance itself as he did so, and he spent a moment in silence before responding. "Mediation. I like to spend my mornings in peace and quiet, realigning myself with the natural world before I set about my day. I've done it since I was a pup."

Cody smiled just the slightest bit and nodded towards where Hashima stood by the rabbit they had 'caught' together. "Right there, with her first kill," Cody laughed quietly.

Leo dropped down to the ground, grinning. He twisted to turn his body away just barely in the nick of time. Leo was by no means the strongest Warrior, or the fastest thinker, but he was fast, and he’d learned to hone his skill. He’d been trained by one of the best Warriors the Pack had to offer, and he wasn’t about to let that go to waste...even if it was just a sparring match. Leo rose up and swiped at Fern's shoulder, making sure not to put full force behind the blow though. Only a few minutes ago he’d seen that happen with Nebula and Dark, and an injured Nebula had promptly been taken to the Healer den. He had no desire to make the same mistake.

They both wanted him to make the choice that would make him happy, but it was never an easy choice. He didn’t even know what would make him happy anymore, and wished there was a way everyone could be happy. Once upon a time, they had all loved each other. That was no secret amongst the Pack. Naru had almost chosen Nightfall over him, and he had been jealous and worried. He’d allowed himself to be stuck in the Healer den for more than a week with his injuries under claims that the struggle with that boar had been worth it for her, but he’d also always looked out for and sought out Nightfall where he could. Toby had loved Naru for as long as he could remember, but Nightfall has captured his heart too. Naru came back for me...but Nightfall waited for me and never stopped loving me, even when she wasn’t born to the Pack, and could’ve left at any given moment. Toby hung his head.

He took a deep breath in, then let it go. "I wish...more than anything in the world, I wish I could have you both, and nobody would have to get hurt," Toby told them in a soft voice, and that was what he meant. He’d only ever seen Everest take two mates though, and he doubted if many others were even open to an idea. Wolves were protective and territorial as a whole, and Toby was not blind to that.

Dark dipped his head in respect to Accalia, then backed out as she returned to her work. He stepped outside and shook out his black pelt, staring down at the ground. Despite the warmth of summer setting in, he felt a chill. Nebula...I never should have agreed to teach her fighting moves, even with her mother's permission. Her body is still too small to handle impact, even if I was being as gentle as I could.
