Arrow's tail started to wag faster at Striker's excited answer. She willed it to slow down, but couldn't help it now.
"Have fun you guys!" She called after them, her eyes bright and shining.

Once they were well away, she sighed, glancing down at the deer leg he had given her. She smiled to herself, and began to eat again, in a much better mood now than earlier.

Cinnamon smiled at Wraith for a moment before taking a rather large bite out of her own meal. After a few heartbeats in silent chewing, she swallowed and let out a small cough. “It involves a steady, fast pace, a lot of climbing or going around stuff, and usually no breaks, if you’re up for that, though! There isn’t a clear path lining our borders, with the exception of the river bank. It’s mostly ridden with fallen trees and deserted warrens.” She explained, giving the other Trainee an option to rethink. The first time she’d taken a border run with Talon before he disappeared, she’d only just stumbled through the whole thing without getting far too tired.

Felis went behind Batswirl for protection. "He eats meat." Batswirl looked at the ground. "I don't think he ever had the luxury of milk." She turned to Felis and pointed her head to the prey pile. "Go grab a mouse and come back after you eat." Felis nodded. "Anything you want mommy?" Batswirl shook her head. "Not now. Too nervous to eat." She turned to Jasmin. "Do you want anything?"

Cody smiled over at Cole. "Oh? Which Hunter is that?" She asked. Then Hashima had pounced, and with excellent form, too! "That’s right, love! You got it!" She cheered.

Dark reached forward and picked Nebula up carefully. Guilt shot through him, again and again, over and over, as he carried the Pup towards the Healer den. "Injured Pup!" He called.

Shadow nuzzled her. "I don’t know why you left, but what’s important is that now you’re home," she promised. "And you don’t have to say anything you don’t want to."


TOBY | Hunter | L-Pack | Tagging: Naru, Nightfall | Location: Camp


"I missed you too," Toby said. His voice was quiet, partially with shock, partially with relief...and partially with guilt, for in her absence, he had fallen for another. He still loved Naru, just as he always had, but he loved Nightfall too.

Jasmin frowned. How could he have never had milk? The teeth didn’t come in until at least a couple of weeks old. He wouldn’t have been able to manage the meat. Then she tilted her head to the side as Batswirl spoke of nervousness. "Why are you nervous? What’s the matter?"

Wraith nodded, waiting to speak until her mouth wasn't full.
"I can do that. Ares trains me hard." She stole a glance in the direction of the Warrior Den before continuing in a quieter tone. "I think he's still sleeping. Old man tired himself out before me." She giggled, and took another bite out of her bird. Adult wolves never had enough energy!

"It is my first time being in a pack again. I think it's been about six months. I ran around looking for a pack, but didn't find one until recently." Felis came back. "Momma, there were wolves there so I didn't grab any food. I didn't want to startle them." Batswirl laughed. "I'll grab you something." Batswirl ran to the prey pile and grabbed a small rabbit. Felis will like this.
