Leo had felt such rage only once in his life, and that was when Ginger had taken Umber. This wolf had assaulted and forced the hand of his friend. He had threatened her into a relationship. I suppose then, after that experience, it takes a great deal of courage for her to have opened her heart up again. He realized. He sank his dull-tipped claws deep into the earth underneath him. Then he raised his eyes to meet hers. He was usually a carefree and upbeat wolf, and he tried his best to stay true to his own values, but there were some situations where in his mind, mercy and kindness was not an option. "That wolf attacked and damaged your heart, mind, and body. He terrified you to the point where you felt cornered, and took unfair and cruel measures. Think of me whatever you wish, but nobody hurts my friends. NOBODY. If I by some chance happen find this wolf," He growled, "I will kill him, and you won’t have to fear him anymore."

"Of course I am. Nobody messes with my friends, like I said. I’d lay my own life down for any of the wolves I love. In a heartbeat. Even over actions that happened in the past, and no matter how much you love your Pups, that wolf still attacked you," Leo pointed out. Then he leaned in when she said she thought she might remember the name of her former mate. "Whaaaaat? What is it?" He asked.

"Hey, we're not done-" Storm started when Aala barreled off, but she had gone. Bristling, she turned to Karter.
"Well, no amount of planning could have prepared for that." She said with a snort. "I still can't decide if she's going to let us be near the pups or not. But the way she spoke about you... Goodness, it's like she never loved you to begin with! And that's something I can't stand for." She turned her gaze back to the spot Aala disappeared through. "I don't suppose I'll ever like her." She reflected. Cowardly, impish, pathetic. She shook herself roughly. "Well, that's one interaction down, at the very least. Are you feeling steady enough on your paws to go into camp and ask for an audience with Shadow?" She asked Karter. And if they saw Aala in the camp... well, Storm would be giving her the cold-shoulder from here on out.

"She told me once that there was nobody else she could imagine bein' with. That’s part of why I worried it’d be so hard. She says now Dark's helpin' her with the Pups. Makes me wonder if there was somethin' going on there I didn’t know about before. At least when it came to how I felt, I was up front about it," Karter noted. He had spied and eavesdropped enough to pick up some things here and there, and had once had the fortune? Misfortune? Of overhearing Shadow talking to Everest about Leo, who grew up thinking Shadow's mate after he was born was his father, rather than the wolf who's genetics he really shared. He didn’t envy Leo that. In a way, that was one of his worst fears, that if Dark was the one who was around, they would one day grow up thinking that Dark was their father, leaving Karter himself completely estranged from his young. It was a scary feeling.

"I don’t...I don’t think I have much of a choice unless I want to just stand at the edge of this river forever. I have no love of rivers. Shadow...I think she'll at least understand where I’m coming from." So saying, he stepped forward, steeling himself to be ready to face yet another part of the hard day.

She whispered to Miles, "I'm going to the river to get a drink. Stay here." He nodded and she ran off. Hopefully nothing bad would happen to her. When she reached the river, she got a drink and saw a wolf from the other pack near the river. Her nose twitched as she smelled the pine cones. She called out with a little bit of fear behind her voice. "Um... Hi."

(It's not Aala, Karter, or Strom because I don't want to get involved)

Wraith nodded quickly, black tail wagging. While it was clear Ares wasn't fond of her, Wraith still wanted to train.
No way I'll ever be a real Warrior until I do this countless times, right?


OOC: Sorry for poofing. I couldn't find my cat for the longest time, then found her in the neighbor's yard with the untrained adult pit bull. I love pitties, but they ARE dangerous when trained wrong, which is exactly what happened with this dog. He's extremely territorial too, but lucky for my stupid fleabag, she jumped into a mound of blackberry bushes that was fenced off from the rest of their yard. I sure do hope she got a good scare from him. Next time she escapes, I doubt she'll be that lucky. She's a strictly indoor cat, but the other people I live with don't pay attention when they go in and out of doors, so she gets out sometimes. That cat gave me a freaking heart attack. I patrolled my street multiple times, calling for her, and she only answered me on the fourth time I passed her. I also didn't have shoes, so I got to walk through blackberry bushes to go pick her up, and when we got back to our yard, she tried to jump out of my arms. I swear I'm about to turn that thing into a purse.
