"Four...Five...Six...Seven...Eight...Nine...Ten!! Im coming you two!!" He sniffed the air and found both there scents. He found a circle of Faith's scent. He ran into the Hunter's den and sighed when she wasn't there. He continued looking, going into the Warrior's den, Elder's den, and even checking by the bush Amber hid behind last time. He checked all the bushes and he sighed when he couldn't find anyone. He looked into the nursery and heard a small rustle from outside.

"Yuppppp!" Karter managed when Storm nudged him forward. He cleared his throat and faced Aala again, forcing himself to look at her. Looking at Aala had never been this hard, usually, she was a beautiful sight, but beautiful as she may be, that wasn’t enough. "Okay. Aala, the way we’ve been going in the past month or so...no matter what we do, it seems we always come right back to the stress, to the worries, to the conflict. We’ve stopped being able to make decisions TOGETHER, stopped being able to properly communicate, and..." His voice caught. "And because of that, the relationship can’t work. We’ve grown, and we’ve grown together, but at the same time, we’ve grown apart. You’re amazing, you really are, and you deserve someone who can love you wholeheartedly, and...someone who can do better for you than I have. We became mates while I was in a bad place. I loved you. I really did, it was all real, I promise. But overtime...it’s fallen apart, faster and faster, and...I want to walk away while we're still on decent terms, because I don’t... I don’t want us to get to a place where we won’t even be able to look at each other anymore. There’s someone out there for you, Aala, who can do twice as well for you as I have. I’m not leaving because I DON'T love you, but because I DO, and I want us both to be happy, and in the end...I don’t think either of us will be at this rate."

Storm was more than surprised when Aala just... ended up being fine with it. She looked to Karter, who was pouring his heart out to Aala and then to the she-wolf who didn't sound bothered by it at all.
"That's IT?" She asked, thoroughly confused. "He's spent hours trying to figure out the best way to tell you... To make sure that you still feel accepted and to ensure you don't throw yourself into some great fit...And you're totally fine with it? Good grief, I was bracing myself for some sort of sobbing fest or something." She let out a sigh and shook out her pelt, before turning to Karter. She stepped around him, moving to stand in front of him, lingering there. She wanted to ask him how he felt, just being brushed off with a simple sentence oozing with nonchalance. However, in front of his ex... it wouldn't be the place to go. She moved to his other side, standing beside him.

"Well, since you took this so well, Aala, I suspect Shadow may be just as welcoming." Storm mused. "And of course there's the matter of the pups to discuss... both with you and with Shadow, eventually. And my involvement here, at some point." She said, flicking her tail from one side to the other. It couldn't possibly be this easy, could it? She looked over to Aala. "Aala, darling," She said, hoping to keep the suspicious condescension from her voice. "Are you sure this is alright? I mean... I wouldn't want you doing something rash, if you're hiding your feelings now... It wouldn't be very becoming and this, well, this is the perfect time to say things, before it's too late, later." She advised, keeping her voice gentle, her ears perked.

xxxAurora was waiting in camp anxiously, and she watched as Asphodel trotted back with his herbs, seemingly a lot more relaxed than when he frantically left. "Turns out, the only broken thing was a stick that Sandstorm tripped over." The young apprentice remarked with a fond chuckle, ducking into his den and sighing in amusement. Aurora shook her head herself and gazed at the entrance, waiting for the two large wolves to come in. She was especially excited to see her new friend.

Sandstorm hung back a little, only walking on when Night was a few meters ahead. She stared at the ground most of the way, watching her paws closely. What exactly made her trip all the time? She sighed, and continued on without a word.

The Hunter walked slowly into camp, her eyes and head low. Her pelt still prickled with embarrassment, getting worse when she caught the eye of another wolf. She shut her eyes, and hurried to the edge of camp, sitting down on the hard packed dirt.
"Stupid dog..." She muttered to herself. "Why can't I just be a normal wolf?"

The little brown wolf sat down and continued to help. She hummed a canine sound, and nodded to the other female. “I...might be missing my family again..” she said. “I know we just saw them, but they only get one night with us...” She looked up as she too heard the call. She hummed a canine sound, nodding and following the healer.

She sighed when the meeting was long over, nudging Accalia and saying “Let’s go.” She turned to head back to the den. She saw Azall and Asphodel were back, and barked to them. “ I'm glad! I um...I had a bad dream that something happened... " she called back to him.

The pup and story loving red one made a small sound as she looked at her. She nodded to the dark gray she wolf a couple times. “Again...thank you, " she said with a gentle little smile. She wagged her tail a couple times, then leaned on her crazy but kind mate, happy.

The beautiful, slender silver male twitched black tipped darker ears. He flicked his tail as he went to the prey pile now, tail wagging just a bit. He hummed a canine sound as he picked out a rabbit. Most of the wolves seemed to really enjoy eating rabbits the most.
