Once stepping back from the Alpha, the newly appointed Huntress dashed straight for Quicksilver. She was clearly unable to keep in her enthusiasm, and rocked on her toes a bit. "Did you see that?? Wasn't that awesome? I'm a Huntress now! A REAL one!" She gushed, her voice rich and dripping with nothing but pure joy.

Cinnamon flicked her ear, hesitated for a moment as she surveyed the two loners, then slipped into the camp. She slitted her eyes a brief moment, searching for the temporary Alpha through the patches of wolves. "Okay.. I'll have to take you to Alpha. Just stick kinda of close by, okay?" Cinder buns whispered, raising her muzzle in an attempt to track Rubin down.

She turned to look through the entrance and sat down. Miles ran to her side and stood protectively at her side.

Storm listened as she led Karter back through the meadow and reached the trees. She looked behind her, at the meadow, for a few moments, before continuing onward.
"It's good of you to consider her thoughts on the matter. I hope Aala thinks of it the same... Though you may want to pose the matter of Faith's return to Aala, after you inform her of your decision to separate." She advised. "Don't want to pile too much stress on her, after all. I know first paw what stress can do to a wolf and... it's not ideal." She sighed through her nose. "One step at a time, you know?" She said as she passed through the trees and into the forest.

Sandpiper let out a small chirp, feeling awkwardly like a pup. After a few moments of happy dancing, she cut it out and cleared her throat. "I'm sure it'll be faster than you know it!" She offered, giving her friend a lick on her ear. "Oooh.. at least you're still in your youthful years, young'un!" The Huntress added, crouching to the ground and pretending she was as old as an elder.

"I know, but still." Maybe I’m just too used to apologizing for things, whoops. Better to apologize than not though when in doubt. Catania's expression eased into a more relaxed one, and she let herself lean lightly against her new mate. She fixed her eyes on her mother and waited for her response.

"Oh I know!" Leo barked happily. "It feels kind of...unreal, you know?" He tilted his head to the side. "What about you? What was it like when you graduated? Or were you like Larna...Lorna? Naru. Her name is impossible to pronounce," he decided. "She just became a den mother and helped out there."

"I know, but that was one of the promises I made for BOTH of us. It was my fault June, Faith, whatever you want to call her, got taken in the first place. Aala cries every night 'cause she’s not there," Karter remembered, looking down. That was going to be the hard part. He loved Aala, but it wasn’t working for either of them anymore. He didn’t want to hurt her, or stress her, but it was inevitable, and had to be done. One day, she would realize it was for the better for BOTH of them.

They had left the meadow behind. Perhaps one day, they would be able to return on a lighter occasion. For now, they were headed back towards the Pack's territories.
