Accalia shuffled around in her den, emitting soft snores. The she-wolf was sleeping quite peacefully, seeing as she hadn't had any for almost two days. Nova's birth had been extremely difficult, but all pups had pulled through and gotten stronger with every breath they took. Flame seemed to be fine, and would recover quickly with close to no side effects. The herb storages had been replenished, and the nests were cleaned out, good as new. The Healer blinked awake, having unfortunately moved her muzzle into the sun. She let out a soft groan and screwed her eyes shut, hoping to catch the last bit of her wonderful dream.
No luck. Accalia grumbled and sat up slowly, her fur rumpled and her eyes bleary. Why can't it still be night? She complained internally, letting our a huff of air and reluctantly pulling herself to her feet. She checked the wolves around her with a quick sweep of her gaze, flicking an ear with mild interest. Everything appears to be all right. I suppose it's time to acknowledge other's existences, The she-wolf thought, unwilling to step outside. She hadn't left the den for a while, and the air was stuffy and humid. Accalia padded slowly towards the den, then hesitated and pushed through the ivy.
The Healer let out a small, cat-like hiss as the morning sun glistened into her eyes. She ducked her head and flicked her tail in annoyance. Awww! Every time! She groaned, shaking her head. After a couple heartbeats, the she-wolf squinted and raised her muzzle, pupils adjusting to the dawn's bright rays. She glanced around camp and inhaled deeply, stretching out her front legs.
Tendril
Fire Pack | Hunter | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Tendril slipped out of the Hunter's Den, feeling energized and ready to start the day. She hopped out and let out a massive yawn, waving her tail back and forth. She closed her maw and flopped to the ground, letting out a happy noise as she rolled onto her belly. The Huntress felt her spine pop- the best feeling in the world- and offered a small 'mmm' as she wriggled around. It was a splendid day, and everything was fine- from the birds singing at the canopy's branches to the rabbits running across the forest floor. Today felt good, and hopefully it would stay that way.
Cinnamon
Fire Pack | Scout Trainee(?) | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Cinnamon trotted back into camp, a satisfied expression pained on her face. She'd gotten up early, before most everyone else did, and had taken an hour jog around the perimeter of the Fire Pack territory. A scout's job. The Trainee, with no suspicious activity to report, had merely headed for the border river to grab a quick, cool drink. It had done her well, and she felt wonderful as she returned to camp. Cinnamon's head was lifted high, and her tail wagging from side to side as she pattered over to the fresh-kill pile. Perhaps there was something good to eat?
Sandpiper
Lighting Pack | Hunter Trainee | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Sandpiper barreled out of the Trainee den, a smile on her face. Wow! She'd gotten up early! What an accomplishment! The Trainee let out a very happy sigh and faced the sun, soaking up some of the rather blinding rays for a moment. She then vigorously shook out her pelt and padded over to a tall, sunny rock. Sandpiper wiggled her haunches and let out a small snort as she leapt, her hind feet scrambling for a heartbeat before she managed to climb atop. The she-wolf circled twice and fell down, suddenly feeling her energy decrease. Well, that was the last time she'd get up early again.
Dune
Fire Pack | Warrior | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Dune watched the waking pack with a soft gaze from underneath a tall, swaying oak tree, her head resting gently on her sandy grey paws. Her fluffy tail was hugged comfortably around her body, and a consistent smile was etched onto the Warrior's muzzle. She was still quite exhausted from the Meet- it was quite easy to say Leo had certainly trained up to be a fantastic fighter. Dune let out a contented sigh, flicking an ear to the side. Her eyes followed a few wolves, then shut for a minute as the she-wolf enjoyed the warm, peaceful morning breeze.
Ice
Fire Pack | Warrior | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Warrior Ice sat by himself, hunched over a rabbit as he devoured it with no second thought. He was hungry; that's for sure. The Warrior quickly spat out a bone, then continued tearing apart the rabbit with evidently little to no care. Clearly, he was still slightly put off by the fact he hadn't been chosen for the Meet. Again, it wasn't the last and wouldn't have been his first, he would have just liked a different surrounding to glare at and criticize.
Flurry
Fire Pack | Hunter | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Flurry slid out of the Hunter's den, her maw rather tight as she held back a yawn. The morning chill cared her fur to twitch pleasantly, and the crisp air felt fresh in her lungs. If I could find a couple of fat pheasants, or even gather a group to search for elk or deer, that'd really top the day off, the she-wolf thought, sitting down outside of the den and wrapping her tail around her front paws. She surveyed the waking Pack with vague interest, then turned her head and resorted to cleaning the moss scraps from her pelt.
Kinkajou
Fire Pack | Pup | Location: Camp | Tagging: Open
Kinkajou's paws kicked lightly in her sleep, thumping against the den wall. Her nose twitched and she fell still with a small huff of air. She'd been chasing a butterfly, about as big as a deer. Unfortunately, the faint barks of other pups had caused her to wake from her lovely dream. With a small grumble, the little pup opened her eyes and forced herself not to close them again, raising her muzzle and glancing around the den. She blinked a few times, then raised herself to a sitting position and let out a huge yawn.
