Leo let out a quiet sigh, thinking things over. "Okay...well...first thing's first. Two things. One, I’m not taking sides either way. I’m neither an ally nor an enemy. Two, what would you actually say or do? Depending on it, there may be SOME way to make things work out for the better," he said.

Galaxy sighed, and sat down beside her brother, only briefly meeting his eyes. She felt better, now that she was with him, but only by a little bit. The giant black pup lowered herself to the ground, and let out a breath.
"Mom says dad is dead." She muttered.

Aru had not heard that news, but he had begun to assume something wasn't right. His father's absence, their mother's sudden and increasing sadness and wistfulness, so he wasn’t surprised. I envy Roland. He’s the same age as us...but so behind mentally. He doesn’t even know what death means, I reckon. He definitely doesn't think dad's gone, from the way he was chattering with Trey last night. That brought up another realization. Roland and Trey hadn’t been seen since just about midnight, and had not come to their nests.

Dad is gone. Dad is gone. Dad is gone. Those were the words that echoed in Aru's mind. He told himself he wouldn’t cry, but felt a tear come to his eye regardless. "Dad...gone?" He had so many questions, but it was hard enough for him to even form those two words, probably the first words he had ever spoken, come to think of it.

Galaxy looked up at her brother, and quickly continued.
"She's wrong. Dad didn't come last night as a Starris wolf. He would've, if he was... dead. Mom is just..." The pup glanced around, and lowered her tone. "Stupid. She's stupid, Aru! She doesn't even realize he didn't come down." She assumed. "Dad wouldn't abandon us! He would never do anything like that... Something must've happened, and he can't get back to us now."

AWWW!!! Aru said his first words. So wait, can he talk now or he won't talk unless he has to.

She sat up and saw Galaxy and Aru talking. She heard her friend, Aru, say words and she felt happy that he talked. She cautiously walked forward and dipped her head, staying a little farther away from them than she hoped to be. She hoped to be closer and sitting next to them.

xxxAsphodel felt more fear flash through him when the largest Fire Pack wolf confronted them, he was clearly the leader of the little trio. He swallowed thickly and stepped forward, keeping his ears angled forward bravely. They were still on their own side of the river. "T-the reason for us being on this side is because the comfrey root grows over here, and we were-were just restocking on it. Doing two things at once. A-as far as I see, there's no no issue."

xxxHuron scoffed softly at the little trainee that stammered his way through his speech, and he glanced at the other two wolves. He was the lowest ranking warrior between the three of them, so what happened would be up to them. He personally would believe in a strict verbal threat.

Ice narrowed his eyes and seemed to radiate an aura of menace as he lashed his tail ferociously over the grass. They could be lies. Lightningwolves are stuffed full of lies. He hissed to himself, unwillingly recalling his former friend who'd been in the other Pack. It was a long story, and one that the snowy Warrior had never told. He certainly didn't plan on it anytime soon. "We could win their hides in a heartbeat if we wished," Ice commented to Huron and Ares, his voice dripping with what seemed to be greed. "I'd say give them ten second to turn around and scram. If they stand their ground, well..." He trailed off, a glisten of malicious excitement shimmering in his slitted eyes.

She dashed out from behind the Alpha's den and didn't see where she was going and bumped into a wolf and fell down.
