Accalia gently held the wolf's paw in her own, examining it with expert silence. She carefully turned it around and scanned the other side, then gingerly set it down. "It seems to be okay. Apparently, it was just a small twist, and the cartilage was just rubbed in the wrong way. Let me bind it up; if we can hold it in place so it doesn't move around much, it'll be completely better by tomorrow." She listed, sweeping the two sticks, rush, and cobweb to her side.

At the question, Emit scanned the clearing for the silvery-grey she-wolf. She’d been sitting with her eldest daughter earlier, and was no longer, now sitting alone. "Yeah. We could do that. She’s still sitting over there. Has she really sat in the same place all night?" She must have been waiting for her mate. He didn’t come. Maybe I’m NOT the only one here who doesn’t see starry furred wolves.

The grey Warrior couldn’t imagine having been this happy in...as long as she could remember. Even her graduation ceremony hadn’t made her smile so much. "We’ve been asked to babysit for Karter and Aala," Smoke said. "I guess if we were thinking of adopting or one of us having Pups of our own somehow, we may as well get some experience babysitting, huh?" She pointed out, turning her eyes up to look at her mate.

"It’s not me you need to apologize to. I did my job." Of course, she COULDN'T apologize to the wolves she needed to, which complicated things. Leo averted his eyes. "You said a few minutes ago...you had to do work as an Omega. Is that the punishment Alpha put upon you?" He guessed. "I’m sorry to hear it went that way. I guess this is just a way of looking at things, learning...to think logically before acting."

Galaxy suddenly felt a pang of hopelessness, but it quickly turned into rage. She spun around, and faced her mother, shoulders tense with anger.
"What if he's in Lighting Territory, Arian?" She shot back. Her voice had an edge to it, the fact that she called her mother by her name making it sharper. Galaxy surprised herself at the words that escaped her mouth. Arian?! I just called her Arian... At first, she felt a bit of regret, but then, it all went away. It made her sound older after all... like she had more authority. She didn't care about it as much right then, though. There were so many mixed emotions coursing through her... then, she wasn't even sure what she felt.

Leo chuckled despite himself, feeling that darkness lighten, just a little. "I think that’s a lesson we all need to learn at some point or other." The white furred Trainee reached the den and grabbed some of the ivy, reaching up on his hind legs, forepaws braced lightly against the den as he moved the ivy into place to start covering a hold in the roof of the den. "I know we fought earlier. I won’t deny that I do think Alpha was a bit soft. On one hand, I get where she’s coming from. On the other hand, I lived as a loner for months, and learned the world can be harsh. I won’t argue with what my mum's decided though. She’s Alpha, so ultimately, that’s her call."

Arian froze, taken aback by this change. Her daughter had never called her by name before. Then, to her own surprise, she laughed. She has more spirit, more courage than I ever realized. This might make her harder to get under control. Then she forced herself to be serious again. "Honey, he doesn’t trespass for no reason. If he had been in Lightning territory, it would have been to visit his sister, and we would have heard about it, I’m sure, from her mate, Toby. If he was here, somehow or other, news would’ve reached us by now. I’ve detected no scent trail. If he was here, it was a very, very long time ago. Hon...I don’t want to believe it either, I really don’t. At some point, we have to accept the fact that...maybe his circle of life was completed, and he was called by the sky-dogs." She said the last words bitterly. If Starris had called Erle's spirit, he hadn’t even bothered to come back for them.

The gray eyed, gray faced black wolf hummed a bit. S/he flicked the gray tipped tail, nodding as they said “Okay!” They ran around with her awhile, then they were both hungry. They both returned, and s/he headed for the prey pile.

"Well of course not," Emit agreed rather awkwardly. His pelt burned with embarrassment. I know as much as he does. We both fell asleep relatively early. "Let's go then." Emit stood up and stretched, feeling all the tension and kinks in his back and shoulders slowly easing out.

Accalia dipped her head as she rhythmically bound the she-wolf's paw in cobweb. "Of course, I'm always happy to help." She responded with a grin, tying Nightfall's paw into a secure place, held together by two short branches. She peered at it for a moment, then sat back, clearly satisfied. "There you go. You should be all set for now- just make sure you don't go running or swimming. You can still walk around, for sure, but just try not to put any pressure on it." Accalia advised, ruffling up her spinal fur and raising herself to her feet.
