OOC: @Viper: No, Sora is 10 months, so she'll have been in training already for a little more than 2 months now, probably taken on in the middle of Aala's pregnancy, and transferred to Accalia once Aala moved to the nursery.
OOC2: @Alita: Is the "Aloha Striker" thing intentional, or just accidental? (Don’t change it if it was intentional, it’s kinda funny!)

SMOKE | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Rue | Location: Meet Hollow
Before the claws could pierce her belly yet again, now very tuned in to that section, Smoke jumped back, reaching out upon landing to lash a paw out at Rue's, trying to hook it out from under her. Not a particularly strong or useful move, unless one knew how and when to use it. Smoke couldn’t help but be impressed though, as her dark eyes fixed once more on her only slightly-smaller opponent.
This little she-wolf was a year younger, but must have taken her training just a BIT more seriously than Smoke had at that age, because the two wolves were well matched. They had their back and forth. Sometimes, Smoke thought she would win, sometimes it seemed clear Rue would. It was all on shaky ground. Not an easy fight by any means, but nor was she thrown off to the side right away.
SHADOW | Alpha | L-Pack | Tagging: Rubin | Location: Meet Hollow
Shadow tried to move. She saw the move a second too late, and managed not to make the smooth getaway she’d imagined, but to absorb most of the impact into her side rather than her spine by twisting. Her heart pounded against her chest. Did he have any idea how dangerous a move like that was? Shadow was sturdy, she had big bones and strong muscles, but that would’ve broken something in her spine if he had hit. BADLY. A move like that would’ve snapped any smaller wolf's back right in half.
"Are you TRYING to make a kill, Rubin?" The white Alpha demanded, alarm and blue fire flashing in her eyes as she turned her sharp gaze on her opponent. "Had I not dodged that, this Meet would have ended with someone calling for Healers for a wolf with a broken spine."
KARTER | Warrior | L-Pack | Tagging: Storm | Location: Fire Border
"You just told him you’d deal with me. Why would he run to get help?" Karter wondered. Did the Fire wolves still not trust her? After more than three months within their ranks? Oh that was just cruel, and if Karter himself had any way of talking to Spitz without getting his throat torn out simply for approaching and questioning what was laid down months ago, Karter would have asked him to bring Storm back into their own ranks of Warriors, with their Alpha's permission, of course, but Spitz had strictly said she was a traitor once she left, and would always be seen as such, and Karter hadn’t even been able to save June, Spitz had kept him out of the nursery. He’d lost his daughter AND his best friend because of that Warrior! It wasn’t fair! Why did HE have to lose everything?
I'm not a Pup anymore, whining and complaining. I have to stop that. Shadow...Shadow would be better than that. Spitz was Beta at the time, and he’s Lead Warrior now, but even he would never work against Shadow. Spitz and Shadow had been quite close, he knew. Karter had for a brief time thought that one day, they would fall in love, but if it had ever happened, neither of them had said anything, and nothing had happened. That thought echoed in his mind as he raised his gaze again to linger upon Storm once more, and his words caught in his throat. He thought he’d been content, but...when it came to speaking about his daughter to Storm, it felt for a long and terrible moment like the words wouldn’t come out. He felt bad. Like he had done something WRONG.
"It's not selfish at all. I made you a promise, didn’t I?" He took a deep breath. "I came here for two reasons," Karter told her. He let himself meet her eyes, and found that for the first time in his life, he could not hold her gaze. How was he supposed to tell the first wolf he’d ever loved that he had come to her Pack in search of his daughter? Not at all an awkward topic... "I did come to see you, make sure you’re okay, and they weren’t hurtin' you. I promised...I’d come see you sooner, and I didn’t. Our Lead Warrior tried to tear me open for even LOOKIN' at the border," he remembered. His heart twisted and ached like it never had before when she said she should’ve stayed in their home Pack. If that had been the case...would things have been different? He was sure of it, on some level. That only made things all the more confusing, and he said the first words that came to mind, the truest words he’d spoken in a long time.
"I...wish you had stayed, Storm. I do. I haven’t seen Spitz 'round recently, and Alpha's apparently got a real open heart recently. You... You could come back, I’m sure! I just...don’t know if you’d like what you saw. We have a lot of chaos in camp recently, Accalia became Healer in Aala's stead when she retired to the nursery, and now we’ve got three new litters of Pups all in the same day, it’s a lot to keep up with, and Alpha's son came back home, even after everyone who knew him before thought he was dead. And...it wasn’t a lie. I didn’t mention you back at camp. I worried Shadow would get suspicious or Aala would get mad or jealous or somethin'. I have four daughters and a son, and the day the big battle took place...the smell of an unfamiliar Fire wolf was found in the nursery, as well as a hole that hadn’t been there before, and my youngest daughter, June...she was kidnapped. I think she must’ve been hidden in someone else's litter here, maybe as a bid to start trouble, but I just wanted to get her back in peace so her mom can stop freaking out and crying every night, and yeah, I wanted to see you. When you weren’t at the last ?Meet, sure, I didn’t totally expect they’d bring you, but...it only made it feel emptier. Until then...I’d never been to a Meet without you."
