xxxAsphodel had headed back to camp with Azall after the two of them had discussed in further detail the stars and potentials for the future. He gave the camp a quick survey and was relieved to see that the crowd of Starris wolves had thinned out a little bit. The white healer trainee was headed to his den when he saw Shadow, and his large ears pricked just slightly. "Oh- Shadow. Are you doing alright? Since...the burial, and all? I know it was hard on all of us." Asphodel remarked softly.

Huron - Male - F Pack - Tagged;; Ice

xxxHuron had stayed out well past the moon's height in the sky and trotted back silently towards camp. His midnight-black pelt was nearly invisible, and his emerald eyes reflected the tiny stars overhead. His breaths were slow and easy and he paused when he saw the white warrior. One of the pack's most violent... The hunter thought to himself with a soft exhale, flattening his ears.

Shadow had been fixing Fish with an almost scolding look. Everyone had lost wolves before, and she understood what happened with Jupiter had been hard, from what Fish had been able to tell her, but after her recent...idiotic actions, the grey Warrior's cousin was hardly sympathetic about it. To Shadow's relief, Asphodel spoke up from not far behind them, giving her a reason to avoid Fish's complaining.

"Me? I’m alright. It reminded me of my own daughters, but..." Shadow shook her head. "Life goes on. Today has been a hard night for the whole Pack, I think."

Dark smiled the slightest but. "That’s a good mindset to have. Just remember not to leave it forever, one day, you’ll have to sort things out with him." The Warrior paused, flicking an ear to shake off the annoying itch. "Of course, Aala. What do you have in mind?" Dark asked.

Thinking on it, Dark do well to have a bit of a break too. He’d been chasing Night around since Rita's funeral had started, and she STILL wasn’t listening. Quite honestly, he was sick and tired of chasing wolves around. Be it her, or escaping Pups, or Leo when he refused to sit still.

xxxAsphodel lifted his head and gazed up at Shadow, nodding his head in as much understanding that he could. Of course he had no pups of his own, and he was barely over that age himself, but as a healer, he was a bit more mature than most other trainees like himself. "It certainly seems that way. I only had Azall for company, since I have no one up there. At least, none have come to visit me." Asphodel tipped his chin upwards and gazed at the bright, shimmering sky as wolves danced around overhead. He wondered if his mother and siblings were up there.

"Battle moves?" That was the LAST thing he would’ve pegged Aala for, since the reason she’d become a Healer in the first place was stated to be that she couldn’t bring herself to hurt anyone or anything, and as such, was fit for neither Hunter nor Warrior. Every wolf should have an idea of how to defend themselves though, and especially a mother with Pups. She needs to be able to keep the family safe.

"Okay, yeah. I think we could do that. Niw that Nebula and Hashima are back home safely, do you think Cody would be willing to watch the Pups? It’d be best not to be working on battles moves while the Pups are around and able to get underfoot," Dark pointed out. "Just about the LAST thing we want anyone getting hurt." And when we're working on attack and defence moves...that is entirely possible.

"I understand," Shadow told Asphodel softly. She had plenty of family, but until a few months ago, not even her own father would come for her. He’d started coming after she’d taken Ash for her mate, probably out of concern, and she’d seen him, watching her from a distance even tonight, but sometimes, it still felt lonely. The whole sky was full of stars, so full of the spirits of their loved ones, yet it seemed so few of them had ever even bothered to come down, even just for the one night a month they had the chance to do so.

"We shouldn’t be lonely though. We don’t always need the spirits of our dead loved ones to feel whole. We have our Pack, we have our friends, our supports."

xxxAsphodel anxiously exhaled and turned his focus back onto his alpha. He did respect her a lot, for all she did and had been through. She had experiences that more than qualified her to be a leader, and he knew he was happy to be her Healer one day instead of just a trainee. Lightning Pack stood on solid, familial ground, even if they weren't related by blood.
xxx"Oh- thank you, Shadow. You're absolutely right. I know I can promise right now that I would come back." Asphodel's short silver-tipped tail wagged happily.

Shadow's sky-blue gaze softened, and was accompanied by a small smile. "So would I. For some wolves, they want a peaceful life away from the...er...drama that takes place down here, but there are some wolves who love their Pack, their family, enough to come back every month. It’s those wolves we have to be truly thankful for."

Ice was seething alone, watching all of the other wolves mingle happily with the Starris wolves. He had seen no one come for him, and didn't recognize most faces. Hmph. I don't know why I even wait He hissed to himself, narrowing his cold blue eyes as he surveyed his packmates. The Warrior's sharp ears picked up a tiny sigh to his right. Ice's head whipped around, and his long fangs were revealed as a grow rumbled in his throat. "Show yourself."

MOON

Moon saw the hope in her daughters eyes, and her heart dropped, leaving an aching feeling in her chest. “Well, it’s not safe to visit him in your dreams, so the other option would be becoming a bad wolf, and I know you would never do that” Moon whispered, shuffling closer to gently support her daughter. She raised her head and looked out through the nursery entrance into the raiding sky, and she sighed. “I’ll start being a huntress again” she thought to herself.

ATHENA

Athen closed her eyes slightly as she pressed her forehead with Acero’s, and she sighed happily. “They were unexpected, but that made us all the more happy. They arrived in a time of great sadness” she explained softly. She raised her head and glanced over at Mattias, grinning slightly.
