The Trainee pretended to wheeze and choke as Pollock lay down on her ribs. After a moment of awkward silence, she burst into giggles, muffling them as much as she could to keep from rolling over. Her cheeks reddened the slightest bit as the little Pug spoke, but thankfully they were covered by her silky fur. "I suppose my new job is.. a rug." She teased, tilting her head. "That's not so bad if I get to lie around all day." Sandpiper deduced with an air of relaxation.

Sandpiper waggled her eyebrows, even if Pollock couldn’t see it. “Perhaps! It appears I am no longer a dog...” she laughed, her front paws gently pattering the floor. “For I am now Sandpiper the Rug.” She deduced, flocking her ears back and fourth as she splayed her legs and stuck her tongue out in some sort of “dead” position.

Sandpiper smiled and cast a sideways glance at the small dog. "You consider me soft? I am so very grateful." She giggled, wagging her tail and bringing her front paws to her chest for want of a more comfortable position. "You know what?" The Trainee asked, staring up at the tall ceiling. "I kind of like it when there's a rain.. or thunderstorm. I don't even have to do anything except just sit around. Sure, it sometimes gets boring, but it's still nice to relax!" She said, not really waiting for a reply.

Sandpiper blinked in mild surprise as her gaze shifted to the small Pug. "Really? I've never... never really, um, played in puddles. Master Farmer says it gets me dirty and he's always very disappointed- I can easily tell- when I come up to him to say hi or something. He won't let me into the mansion.. I see the reason for that, ha, until I clean off, soo..." She trailed off, her ear flicking slightly. "Never really done it. Didn't say I don't like it, though." Sandpiper added the last part softly, whispering it as her tail thumped the ground a few times.

Nash licked his lips and looked around. He saw Roxie over by the corner of the kitchen and walked over. " Hi!" He wagged his tail " How's the scratch?" He said, looking at the cloth then at the ground, feeling embarrassed.

Sandpiper let out a sigh of content and pleasure. "Yeah, that... that actually sounds nice. If I get in a lot of trouble, you're the one to blame." She teased, giggling a little bit as her sandy golden paws waved in the air the slightest bit. Her ears swiveled as the fire crackled, and the little Trainee felt like this couldn't get any better from here on. (great writer's block grrrr)

Roxie spit out a piece of corn leaf she didn't even know she had in her mouth. Her ears perked up as she heard a familiar voice, and she heaved herself to her paws, ignoring the protests of her muscles. "Hiya, Nashville." The Dame answered, tilting her head as he asked about her.. her wound. "Yeah, I guess.. it's.. doing better than before.. thanks for asking." Roxie finished with a grateful smile as she shuffled her paws over the cold and mildly refreshing tile floor.

Sandpiper's brow furrowed- not so much with worry as with playfulness- as Pollock gave her a small boop. His paw pads were just so... small. It was odd. Her tail wagged a little bit as she heaved an interestingly heavy sigh. "You were the one who dragged me to go outside in this hooorrriiibbblllee rain and threw me into a puddle.." She joked, covering her eyes with a paw in mock disdain. "The agonyyyy!" (Hmm, sounds nice! I'll try it out.. thanks!)
