She dug herself to where only her face was showing looked up at Grace and replied with tears streaming down her face, "I should have had a better life. Everything was taken away from me. My father didn't even get to meet me at all, except when I died. I wanted to have a life with my father who actually cared about me and my half-siblings, but of course, my life was turned upside down. Now I'm here, can't even have a life with the Earth-dogs. I just wish I wasn't weak and hadn't died." She laid her head down and the ground became stained with her tears.

"Oh love..." Grace pulled the young she-wolf close to her and began grooming her fur back. "I know. Sometimes life, and death alike, aren’t fair. We have to deal with what we're given though, that’s all there is to it. Even if you couldn’t have your wish down with the earth-dogs, you can have that all here. You know you have me, and I will never turn my back on you or abandon you. You have Kai, Acero, and Mano, your brothers, and one day, you’ll have your two sisters here too. Lolan will warm up to you overtime, and you’ll have a big family that will forever love you," She promised.

"It’s alright." Grace licked Willow between the ears. "Lolan went earlier. I’m sure he'll have said hello to Shadow on behalf of the both of us. In the end, there is no greater priority to a mother than her Pups. Yes, Shadow is my child as well, but she is grown. She knows how to handle herself. I needed to be here tonight to take care of you, and love, I’m perfectly fine with it. I’m happy to do it. I’d never forgive myself if I went down to have a good time with Shadow or Sira and left you here to cry alone."
