He shook his head. He would've begun asking for more, but that likely would've made Max suspicious. He didn't want the Alpha tipping his daughter off before he died.

MOON watched as her daughter brought the pups to her, and she curled around them, bringing them closer to her middle. She muttered slightly and nudged them into her belly fur. “Feed and then you can play, little ones” she mumbled to them gently, warmth spreading throughout her body.

ATHENA still felt a bit off, but she dismissed it for the time being. She’d see Jasmine about it if she had to. “Thank you Mattias. I couldn’t imagine anyone being a better father” she whispered happily.

The Trainee nodded and sat down in silence as she watched her Mentor place the sticks in the soil. She tilted her head as he spoke. “Agility training..” she muttered underneath her breath, her tail twitching in a motion of a small wag. “Cool!” Cinnamon said with a smile. She was a relatively fast wolf. The Trainee leapt to her feet and flicked her ears as a sign of readily awaiting the next order.

Accalia closed her eyes for a brief moment, then shuffled forwards and gently lay a paw on Mick’s in a manner of attempted comfort. She didn’t have any knowledge of their relationship, but she still would do her best. The Healer whisked her tail towards one of the messy herb piles and carefully drew out a poppy flower. With her other paw, the she-wolf gingerly rolled it between her claws. “Look at this flower,” she whispered, the shimmering in her aqua eyes growing softer. “See the stem?” She asked, tilting the poppy upwards so the head stood in the air. “It supports the flower’s head and lifts it up towards the sun’s light.” She paused and gently nosed the flower petals. “In a way, it’s like a relationship. This stem does all it can to help the head reach the sunlight. It may seem that it is doing all of the work, just to push harder for another to receive the glory. However, the head does its work as well, even if we can not see it. It takes the sunlight and converts it into food, and sends it to the stem and its leaves.” Accalia explained, flicking a single ear as she slowly lay the flower down. “Both ends do something for the other, forming a strong bond that allows them to support each other.” The Healer looked up at Mick, tilting her head the slightest bit. “Imagine yourself and Blizzard as a delicate flower. If one side restrains from supporting the other, it can collapse. Working together is a path that will yield great results.”

Leo looked around the camp, noticing Mick slinking into the Healer den reminded him of what he’d been thinking about. He looked back at Ash. "I hope I don’t sound like I’m going mad, but I wanna have a side job for when I’m not fighting or training," he told him. "And looking at the mess of a Pack we have, and I thought of one."

Although probably not the most sophisticated gesture, Shadow snorted a laugh in response to the other she-wolf‘s not-so-subtle gesture. "Ohhh I understand this in a way. I myself am not particularly small, obviously, with my dire wolf blood, but...Golli? He is just a giant!"

Karter shook his head firmly in response to his mate's words. "We didn’t know at the time, and we couldn’t have changed it either way. We couldn’t make you UN-pregnant, and we couldn’t stop the war. We have our four little ones here, enjoy that, and we'll get June back soon."

Content with this, Trey nuzzled closer to his mother's belly and latched onto one of her teats, sucking to draw out the warm, sweet milk. He no longer sucked as hard as he had before coming here, for he’d learned with Arian that sucking too hard causes pain, and he didn’t want to cause his mother any pain!

Mattias stepped forward and gently licked his mate's ear, brushing his muzzle against hers. One day. One day they would both be amazing parents. He was sure of it. She’d brought it up a few times now, in a short period of time, he realized. "Do you think... you’re expecting?" He asked.

"Okee! Back soon!" Catania went over the images of the jasmine and the comfrey in her mind. She was sure she’d seen comfrey close to the border, and jasmine climbed. She could do that! Without another thought, the wispy grey Trainee turned and zipped off, out of the den.

"Oh come now. That wasn’t a cute laugh. It was an unsophisticated snort," Shadow insisted, rolling her eyes, but a small, faint smile still played across her face. Sometimes, she reflected, it was nice to goof around from time to time.

Karter shook his head. Parenthood wasn’t easy at the best of times, and this was NOT the best of times. He nuzzled her softly. "It’s okay. Things will be okay," he promised, but even to him, his words seemed empty.

Cinnamon squinted, an aura of vague befuddlement floating above her head. After a heartbeat, she raised her muzzle as something seemed to click. "Oh! So, like, jump training?" She asked, shuffling her paws on the dusty soil as she eyed the sticks. If leaping was the case, Cinnamon did need it. She remembered how she'd failed to scrabble over that boulder on her first day of training. The Trainee wouldn't turn down an option for agility, for sure...

Accalia smiled, blinking softly a few times. "Of course. You and Blizzard must work together to create a strong bond." She said, tilting her head kindly. After a few heartbeats, she huffed and pulled herself into a sitting position. Herbs. Yeah. There were still piles of flowers and scattered shoots all over the floor. Accalia certainly didn't want to miss Golli's surprise. "I apologize for my shortcomings, but I must return to my duties." The Healer said with a forlorn sigh. She didn't want to push Mick away, especially since e had a heavy mind.. "Unless you have a spare moment?" Accalia asked, raising an eyebrow softly as she made a small motion towards the herbs.

Toby looked around the small group, clearing his throat. "Actually, with all due respect, Beta," he dipped his head towards Cole, then looked to Alita. "I want Alita with us for backup. Not so much for the hunting aspect as the guarding aspect. Who knows what other predators could be chasing the same herd? We need someone who can keep lookout and warn us. Someone who knows enemy scent and how to fight."

Accalia tilted her head towards Mick, "Of course." She said with a nod, peering at the flowers and roots with interest. A few were dry and shriveled. Looks like she perhaps had daydreamed a little whilst she was collecting these herbs and had unconsciously chosen dead plants. Oh well, Accalia usually focused only under pressure. She began to pick out a dusty brown herbs and set them aside, but pricked her ears up at the lithe Hunter.

ATHENA smiled slightly at Mattias, watching him happily for a few moments. She licked his chin, leaning against him slightly, nuzzling into his handsomely colour fur. She perked up slightly at his questing, then her forehead quickly creased. "I... I don't know. Do I look like I am?" she asked him curiously.

MOON gently rasped her tongue over the pelts of the new pups, laying back slightly so that she rested soundly in the bed. "How was your day little ones?" she asked them gently, but didn't expect too much of an answer.

Amusement flickered across the white furred Alpha's face. She dipped her head in greeting to the Warrior. "Good morning, Golli," she greeted him. "As for what’s going on..." she glanced briefly at Everest, then looked back to Golli. "When and where did you hear your name?" She asked. "What do YOU think is going on?"

Karter chuckled under his breath. "I get that, but we came into this knowin' that this in itself is a full time job," the brown furred Warrior pointed out with a small shrug. Perhaps they hadn’t expected it to be THIS hard though.

Trey stopped nursing for that brief moment in time, stopped feeding, and looked up at his mother, the Alpha. His tail was wagging furiously behind him, his pale eyes brightening. He met his mother's eyes and let out a happy bark.

"Well it’s hard to tell. A she-wolf doesn’t start to actually SHOW until the second week, if I remember properly," Mattias nodded. Moon and Arian hadn’t shown until then either, at least. "At first, you’d still look just the same as always."
