Sandpiper sat down abruptly, a wide grin seeping onto her slightly bloody face as she poked the fox a couple times, tilting her head with respect to Aloha Shadow and Ash. She puffed her chest up and held back a giggle. “Hiya, Alphas!” She commented cheerfully, wincing in mild pain as a little breeze blew some unwanted dust into her eye’s wound. Sandpiper forced down a small hiss as her ears flicked back and fourth with satisfaction. “Yeah, yeah, we’re fiiiiiine! I think..” she trailed off, casting a side-eyed glance at the white-furred Trainee’s chest, then drew her gaze away quickly as to try not to direct Shadow’s eyes to her son’s wound.

Shadow looked between the two young Trainees. Sandpiper seemed to be bleeding, which was worrisome, and she THOUGHT she saw the remnants of blood on her son's fluffy white fur. She took a deep breath and slowly let it out.

"Well, I haven't missed the blood. Hope it’s the fox's, and not your own." She looked the fox up and down. A big one, from the looks of it. "This is...astonishing to say the least!"

Sandpiper heaved a small sigh of pleasure as she shuffled her paws with excitement. She glanced at the Trainee Leo with glee. “Wow..” she murmured under her breath, her pelt sparking with energy and her paws tingling. Sandpiper lifted her head and gave a confident grin at the Alpha. “What can we do with it, huh?” The sandy grey Trainee asked, tilting her head. She could imagine herself with a fox claw ear piercing, standing proudly on high rock as the wind ruffled her fur. Sure, it was a dream, but it was awesome!!

"Well, it can be used for many things. There’s meat, of course, and fox fur is very soft. Good for lining nests," Shadow remembered. "Though I just saw I’d be unsure what to do about those claws. Nasty little things those are!"

Toby dipped his head to Alita and started out of camp, first towards the riverside. Seeing it up ahead, he nodded towards it. "This river marks our border with the Fire Pack. We're apparently allowed to swim, one of our Warriors did every day, but never cross to the other side."

"What we are about to say is crazy but we need you for it," She said. "We both want pups, but we are both female," She took a deep breath. "So we decided to ask you," She finished.

Sandpiper waggled her eyebrows, a small, fairly confident smirk forming on her face as her good eye gained an oddly mischievous glint. "I could always.. take care of those good old claws for you." She said, poking the fox's snout once daintily, her tail waving over the lush green grass. Sandpiper raised her head and her tongue lolled as her ears swiveled back and fourth with hope.
