So you were probably safe most of those times, but promise me you won’t go doing that again here?” She laughed teasing him. “I’d hate to hear that you lost all your fur to a mountain lion chasing you away from its deer!” Phoenix said through her laughter.

Leo grinned. "Nah. I have my mum's patience, which is a good thing. It’s allowed me to make it this far. That and stealth, I guess. Steal prey when I can, make lucky guesses when I came make a clumsy catch," he admitted.

“You can bet your tail I didn’t! I was so silly... I still can’t believe that I actually did it.” She laughed with him shrugging her shoulders. “It’s crazy. So then since you don’t know how to hunt show me how to do a border patrol?”

Leo shrugged as well. "Sure. Though...it’s pretty easy. We just go through the territory to one of the borders and check for scent markers. Make sure there’s no enemy wolves on our side, and refresh our own scent markers if needed," he explained.

The she-wolf let out a small whine of clear protest as she felt a large nose gently nuzzle her forehead. Sure, she had gotten sleep, but now she didn’t want to leave the comfortable nest. Accalia had forgotten how great it felt to get some nice rest. She slapped her fluffy tail over her eyes as she let out a mild sneeze. “Hhnnrrrgh..”

The ocean eyed she wolf studied her paws, feeling her pelt heat up slightly from the compliment. “The trouble is, I’ve put myself out there before but I just don’t think... that anyone likes me and that’s fine” she mumbled, decidedly staring at a falling leaf. “What about you Mattias, has anyone... caught your eye?” She asked.
