Ash shook his head in vague amusement at Fern's antics. He walked over and lightly shoulder-bumped the young one. "What’re you doing over here all by yourself?" He questioned.

Max dipped his head. A wise call, with just the two of them. So he raised his head and howled. The elk turned towards them, then several hurried away in a panic. The big male stayed. "Looks like that’s the one we've gotta actually chase out," he commented.

Fern looked at ash And muttered ''Playing.'' She faked sounding bored to see If Ash would play with Fern.
She wagged her tail a Bit, ''And I'm the best warrior In my pack-It's called Pack Fern!'' She wrote it in the Mud
''But I have Nobody to be the evil Loner...'' She sighed a bit before going back to dragging her claw in the mud.
''So I can't be the best warrior If there's nothing to fight against....'' She would lay down and bury her muzzle in her paws .

Ash had never been one for idly playing. He’d been the serious, down to earth one for as long as he could remember. He’d grown up not having much of a choice, but...Fern was just a pup, and she looked so lonely. Besides, nobody else was really around to see anyway. He crouched down. "You need an evil loner? I think I could perfectly play that part."

''Really!?'' She jumped up with joy, And wagged her tail, ''Okay!'' She playfully growled, it sounded like a cat hiss more thank a growl
She leaped at Ash, She didn't want to claw him and hurt him, She just clawed him enough to lightly pierce him. ''YOu leave my pack alone you evil Loner!'' She growled again

"Do you suppose that, if we called for some of our warriors, we'd be able to take them down?" The female knew that there were few hunters in their battle-based pack. Besides, this large elk was certainly a worthy opponent for some of the warriors. The thought of how much food this would provide made her drool a bit.

Ash crouched low, letting his shoulders tense. When Fern leapt at him, he reared up just enough that instead of slashing at him, she could collide and get pushed off to the side. Gently, of course. He didn’t want to hurt such a young pup. He laughed and batted at her, careful not to let the dull claws scratch her. "Why should I? What’ll you do about it?" He growled, but his dark amber eyes sparkled with good humour.

"Warriors, or Hunters?" He thought about it. The Hunters they and here were mostly primed for hunting small prey. Maybe they should fix that. "Call for Mattias and Pierce. They’re two of our best," he commented. "Four of us could surely fell prey such as this one."

Moon nodded, raising her head to release a chilling howl. She called for those who her mate recommended and let them know their location.

Pierce's ears perked at the sound of one of his Alpha's howls. The male rose from where he was laying and looked at Mattias, knowing that no words needed to be said. He nodded at the two females as a sort of goodbye before taking off, looking back at Mattias before continuing with him.

Jasmin didn't approve of what Mattias said. "She's still a wolf even if she was part of a different pack. No one should wish ill on her," she reprimanded. The healer turned when she heard someone speak. It was the new wolf. She introduced herself as Storm. Jasmin took note that she seemed polite and friendly. "Hello, Storm," she said. "Welcome to our pack. My name is Jasmin and I'm the healer. If you ever need anything, whether it be herbs or a listening ear, my den is always open. It's a pleasure to meet you." Her ears perked when she heard Moon howl. She wasn't quite sure what she needed, but if she was calling the warriors, she assumed it was something fighting related. She nodded at the two males. "Stay safe," she said.

"Why would Karter be upset?" he asked. "Other than the fact that he doesn't know how to have fun like the rest of us." He looked up at the darkening sky and wondered if the Alpha and Spitz were alright. "They're probably fine. If something bad and important had happened, Matter would tell us instead of sulking. Like you said, he can be overdramatic sometimes."

Not much was happening with the young warrior trainee. She had quickly eaten her share of food and then gone to the forest to train. The other wolves always seemed to like socializing after meals. Aiyana didn't bother with it. She'd much rather train than talk. There were only a few wolves she cares to hang out with and none of them were around now.

She watched in silence as the two wolves left. Leaving her with yet another unfamilar wolf. She nodded as the female introduced herself as Jasmin. She seemed nice enough. "I will take that into consideration." She grinned as she replied to Jasmins earlier statement. She lifted up her paw, which had a deep gash on it from her run in the unfamilar forest which she was doing her best to hide from the two males. "Have anything for this?" She asked, wincing.

She was almost surprised when Ashton answered. He simply seemed to be considering her dream. This was for sure one of the farest fetched dream she had ever has. She leaned against his flank and buried her face into his soft fur. " I am so lucky to have known you." She mumbled, her voice being muffled by his fur. She grabbed her stash of Comfrey and began to head to camp. " Hey Ashton? I have another herb combation you have to try; I think I am on to something! " She called, talking about his illness.

" Yeah I guess you are right." She replied to his statement about Spitz. She played with her paws. " I am going to help you cross the border." She stated as she stood up. " I will be able to distract Spitz and you can sneak past and make a dash for it." She planned, wanting to help Karter out of his depressed moment.

Ashton sighed contentedly, a small smile on his face, "I should be the one saying that." The friendships he built up with his packmates are so important to him, after all, they were what got him through the tough years of his illness. The trainee was about to reply when he felt a small amount of blood rising in his throat. As soon as Echo looked away, he spit out some of the crimson liquid into a Bush then picked up his celadine. He chuckled at his friends enthusiasm then replied in an equally happy voice, "I'm sure it'll work this time!" Deep down, Ashton knew that this combination would probably end up like all the previous ones; unaffecting or, in the rare cases, make it worse for a bit. The dark patched wolf trotted up to his companion and began walking beside her.
