She had not heard the news. Storm had left? She cocked her head, confused. And joined the Firepack? Storm despised the brutes over there. In fact, hated them. He must be mistaken. She settled down near him. Not too close, just there in case he needed some comfort. "You must be mistaken, Karter. Storm could never leave!"

She trotted back to camp, cobwebs in her mouth. She placed the webs in the healers den, and began to sort through the seeds and plants. "Rosemary goes here.… Cobwebs should be moved here… Poppy seeds… Tangleweed…" She said outloud. "Darn it! We are low on comfrey. Where is Ashton when I need him?" She cried in annoyance.

Ares was lounging in the moonlight out by the Warriors den. He was in his usual spot, as he just watched the sun go down. He perked his ears up as he caught some unfamilar names coming from Mattias mouth. Storm huh? He thought. A new wolf? Thats uncommon. He chuckled. He could go over there, and find out what happened, but he did not care. Max's blessing our not, Storm was not going to be a friend of his. A wolf from Lightning? Ugh.
Although, he was looking forward to frighting Storm into obedience. That would be fun. He thought as he difted off into a deep sleep.

His ears perked at the sound of his name being said. Jumping up, the trainee trotted of to the Healers Den and entered. "What's up, Echo?", he gave her a small smile as he looked around at all the herbs and medical supplies that were, for the most part, neatly organized. Ashton could see that she was annoyed and his smile was dampened a bit. Had I caused her annoyance?, he wondered.

She was surprised when Ashton emerged into the den. She didnt expect him to be nearby. She noticed his smile slowly twitch down at the tone of her voice. " Im sorry Ashton, Its been a long stressful day. I feel like Something bad is going to happen. I can feel it." She muttered. She licked his flank. She usually confided in Ashton when it came to her strange feelings, which were sometimes right. Ashton was one of her close friends, and they had much in common, like their love for healing. " We are low on Comfrey, would you like to help me gather some?" She asked, finishing sorting what they had.

His smile returned, "I'd love to. I need to pick up some celadine too." Ash knew that they would be able to talk more about why her day was stressful once they were out of Camp. They often talked about many things whenever they were gathering herbs together. The Male often got celadine at every opportunity because of the blurriness and pain his eyes felt due to his illness. His eyes were getting slightly blurry now but he didnt let that worry him as he began walking out of Camp, waiting for his companion to follow.

"Alright. I think we have a good stock of everything else. I will try to look for some fresh poppy seeds on the way." She turned around to see Ashton was already far ahead of her. " Wait for me!" She chuckled as she sped up to catch him. As they enter the forest, she took a deep breath, trying to smell the strong tangy smell of Comfrey. " Ashton, how are you doing?" She asked. She felt so bad for him, because of his uncurable illness. She made a vow to herself when they both became Healer trainees that she would try everything possible, every herb they had found, and the only thing that helped was Celadine. But she was not going to give up.

Ashton grinned at Echo as she caught up and together began to enter the woods. There were so many different kinds of small, yellow flowers that celadine could be somewhat difficult to distinguish. When the female asked about him, he answered in a content tone, "I'm fine. A little blurred, but overall, I really think it's getting better!" As much as he tried to tell himself that, he knew that wasn't the case. Sure, it hadn't gotten any worse but there were really still no signs of it getting better. The trainee lowered his nose to try and smell out the sweet scent of celadine but, like its appearance, many things smelled sweet.

Echo saw through the lie right away. She could read Ashton like an open book. " Well thats great!" She cheered, faking happiness. She noticed Ashton was having trouble distincting Celadine. She directed him over to a patch of it about a meter away. " That smells pretty fresh." She smiled as he bent down to grab it. She turned around and saw some comfrey growing around a tree. She grabbed some comfrey and looked for other herbs. I wonder how much longer he has. She thought, holding in a sniffle.
