Tendril slowly and mindlessly rolled a pebble around with her paw, keeping her eyes focused on the lush green grass.
"We ran into Everest." She said lightly. Her eyes stayed downwards as anger burned in her throat. She felt like she was about to burst.. anger and jealousy didn't match. However, she tried to keep her cool as much as she possibly could.

Striker looked around. " Tendril, come with me, we don't want gossip." He lead her out of the camp and to a large oak tree a few yards away from the entrance. " Now, what happened when you ran into Everest?" He said, laying down next to the hunter.

It's quite fun playing a mad/angry character I must say.

Tendril hesitated before following Beta Striker. She gingerly stepped over s sharp twig and slowly made her way over to the old oak tree. It wasn't exactly something she wanted to talk about... but she needed to get it out of her mind. Jealousy with the Meet arrangements had already clouded her thoughts. She snarled to herself inwardly, but that did no good. Instead, she sat down and curled her fluffy tail over her front paws, flicking her ears at the songbirds' melodies. "Well..." she began, unsure of which place to start at. "She was at the Lightning Border. With Nova. Inside their territory. Talking.. as if she had never been in Fire Pack!" she spit out the names, disgusted with Everest's treachery. She felt her rage curling inside her chest and she did everything she could to keep it down. "Talon and I... we tried to approach her to.. well.. you know.." she trailed off, uncomfortable where this was going. Instead, she changed course. "Everest said that Lighting Pack was like her family now. She doesn't regret her decision and never will!" Tendril blurted, digging her claws into the soft ground.

"Got several thorns in my paw, leg, and shoulder," Catania explained, wincing as she stepped into the den. She cursed under her breath, but she was in the right place, and Frost only seemed to be stabilizing a Pup, no other patients.

"No. THIS is a new Pack member." Shadow nodded towards the she-wolf who was next to her. "This is Alita, she'll be a Warrior. Everest there..." She took a deep breath. "I suppose it’s not fair to keep you in the dark, as my Beta, is it?" She let her gaze land on Cole's. "I have two relationships, one of which I will announce tonight at the Meet. The other one is Everest, with a prayer that there will one day be peace." She had not recognized Nightfall's approach, but nodded when he spoke. "Speak at will," She agreed.

Karter stepped forward and set his shoulder under StormCloud's to offer support to walk with. "Our Healer is amazing. I’m sure she’ll be able to fix you up!"

Mattias dipped his head. She was a smart one. "Alright. If I came at you now, would you have an attack or counterattack ready?" He asked. ALWAYS be prepared.

"I’m...not sure." Names would surely come to mind...As strange as it sounded, a name came to mind for one of the tiny she-wolves. He gently licked the Pup's ear before looking back at Moon. "Kinkajou," He suggested. Of course, when he was left to help name their first litter, their eldest had ended up named Catania, so fond of out-there names was Max.

"We haven’t chosen any other names. We don’t even know how many there'll be, though with so much swelling and my breed...I suspect a fair few!" Arian exclaimed.

The grey wolf nodded, and gestured to a moss bed that he'd prepared. He always liked to keep at least one empty one, in case of sudden injuries. "Lay down, don't walk on them too much. You'll drive the thorns deeper, and I won't be able to pull them out."

Striker looked away with anger “ That dreaded wolf! I cannot believe her! Betraying her pack! What was she doing with that other wolf?” He asked calmly.

Tendril nearly choked on her words. "Nuzzling the pathetic wolf." she growled. "They were nuzzling." Bitterness caused her chest to contract and her tail quivered over her paws. How could a Fire Pack wolf even dream of doing this? If she came crawling back to this pack on her paws she wouldn't even be fit for an Omega.

Not a problem. She'd been favouring her wounded paw anyway. She made her way over and flopped down in the nest, and without any pressure on her paw, the sting lessened a BIT. Frost will make it better. That’s his job, and he spends so much time in here, I bet he’s super great at it! Did Catania have a possible crush? Well...she had no idea, but she knew she thought he was smart, mysterious, probably great at his job, and DEFINITELY wanted to know more.

Striker looked at the hunter trainee with disbelief. " We should tell this to Alpha. I can't believe someone with so much dignity to be nuzzling a Lightning wolf."' He scowled, but looked back at Tendril " You seem tense What's wrong?" He said calmly

Frost stepped aside, and pulled some herbs out of their assigned spots. He grabbed a broad leaf, a few small flowers, and a group of even smaller flowers. He mashed them together, and mixed them in with some honey on a leaf to carry it. He made his way back over. "I'm going to put this on, give it a few seconds, then pull the thorns. This should help numb your skin slightly, and keep it from getting infected."
