Dune gave a little chuckle as she spat out the last of the jay's bones, whisking them into a little pile near the feathers. That was a problem with birds... almost no meat and all feathers and bones. Still, she had goodmen what she needed for now. "Galaxy? My, that's a beautiful name!" she commented, offering a small tail wag and a happy smile to Erle and Arian. His injury was bleeding a bit more that Dune thought it was supposed to.. She nodded at Striker, tilting her fluffy head a little bit.

Accalia
Lightning Pack | Healer Trainee | Location: Camp/Healer Den | Tagging: Open

Accalia's paw tingled with nervousness and excitement as she nosed through every single herb that was in the Medicine Den, looking to find the traveling herbs and "extras that may be needed'. She mumbled over the list of plants to herself as she pulled out several types of special flowers and leaves, bringing out one for each wolf that was going to the meet. She dipped her head into a deep hole and managed to grab whatever she could. The Healer Trainee knew she may or may not have been overreacting, but a Meet! Wow! Her first time! Guilt wormed in her belly as she thought of the only reason she was going: Aala was too close to having pups to manage the walk there and back. She tried to shrug it off, but it was still there, nibbling at her extreme enthusiasm.

Tendril

Tendril padded back into camp, two fresh- and clean- rabbits hanging limply from her mouth. She was proud, and she sure showed it, but a fire of jealousy bubbled inside her chest. She wasn't going to be able to travel to the Meet. However, young Catania was able to come, and it was quite obvious she was happy. An image flashed through Tendril's mind... she shoved it away harshly and slapped the rabbits down. Thankfully, spring season was kind and had indeed brought her fat animals. It was a sweet day, the sun shining down on camp, a little breeze rustling the trees and lifting up small blossoms, fresh grass underfoot.. there was nothing to be mad about. Right?

Dune

Dune flicked her ears and settled down on the ground. She heard a rustle in the bushes and glanced back to see Tendril entering camp... with rabbits. Perfect timing. She sighed inwardly with annoyance, though she was still grateful to Arian for bringing her the jay. "That's very thoughtful. Galaxy is such a wonderful name." She wagged her fluffy brown tail back and forth, and blinked kindly at Erle. He looked so proud. "You'll make a fantastic father."

Accalia

Accalia grinned to herself as she pulled out the last, thick herb. She wrapped them up into large oak leaves, and picked up as many as she could carry. The bundles consisted of sorrel, daisy, chamomile, and burnet, the main herbs to keep a wolf's energy up and their paws moving. She waged her tail even harder with pride as she ducked out of the cozy, cool Healer's Den. She squinted against the sun and scanned camp, looking hopefully for the wolves that were going to the Meet.

Striker smiled at Dune. " Excuse me " He padded over to tendril. " Hi Tendril! Nice Catch you got there!" He said happily. " I would've come with you if you told me you were hunting!" He wagged his Tail at the trainee.

Tendril dipped her head low, sweeping it to the ground. Striker was a Beta, after all. As she lifted her head she tried her best to put on a fake, casual grin and blinked several times to try to wipe away the jealousy sparkling in her eyes. "Thank you, Beta Striker. You were.. busy, so I didn't want to interrupt you." She forcefully wagged her tail and nudged a rabbit towards the Beta. "Have you eaten today, Striker?"

Striker cringed at the she-wolfs words " Please, Tendril, Just call me Striker like before, it's weird getting all officialized and stuff" He said with a smile. " Have you seen Talon Around here? I would like to talk to him" He said, Blushing a little bit.

Tendril shoved the rabbit back into the prey pile absentmindedly. "Talon? Oh..." she looked around camp, her fur tingling. "Last I saw him he was over near the Warrior Den. Though I'm not sure where he may be now." She dipped her head again, her tail falling limp. "He could still be sleeping for all I know.. yesterday was a bit rough."
