Tendril glared at the rising moon. Couldn't it just stay put? Tendril didn't have the best night vision. She dipped her head to Striker and Talon, worry clouding her gaze. "Hey, should we continue looking for Everest, o-or go back to Camp? Every time I catch a tiny whiff of that wolf's scent, the breeze seems to blow it away." She huffed, annoyed, and pawed at the ground with slight impatience. Perfect. Absolutely splendid. Of course Everest had to have run off to some other place right at this time- perhaps even to another Pack's camp...

Not about to find where the scent came from, he trots back to camp. When he made it to camp, he looked up at the sky. Knowing it was almost night, he leaped on top of a large boulder, sitting down, looking up at the sky, and waited for night.

Yawning, she decides to go to bed.

Shadow dipped her head. "Of course it’s alright. I would never deny you a place here, dear Everest." She offered a small smile. Fire wolf or not, Shadow's feelings for Everest never diminished. As an Alpha, she could not let the rest of her Pack know, just her, Nova, Ash and Everest. They and they alone would know, for now, at least. Until the Alpha could be certain Everest would be safe if the secret was out.

"I don’t care about my own condition," Arian murmured, closing her eyes in exhaustion and relief. "Just so long as our Pups are okay, I'LL be okay." She breathed a sigh of relief. "What about your ribs though, if Alpha Max has spoken of the Warriors?" She asked. If he’d spoken of Warriors, there must be a battle, and despite the fact she’d gentled and softened slightly with her pregnancy, she felt a twinge of envy and regret that she would not be able to fight in whatever this battle was.

"Of course I remembered. Did you think I’d forget?" Toby asked, bounding down to meet her. Of course, he had been a few minutes late, and few wolves liked being out alone. She had waited for him though, even though he’d been a bit later than he'd promised. He smiled just the slightest bit. A night by the sparkling water with the she-wolf he loved? Sounded like the perfect night to him!

"Maybe tomorrow. Then we would have more time," she pointed out with a shrug, which was not easy since she was balancing on a tree branch and Fish was...not exactly a light wolf, having eaten so many trout, having the big-boned build of her bloodline, and having so much thick fur from her winter coat still clinging on.

"I know you will, but at the same time, I think we're all quite capable," Shadow pointed out, but leaned against him. "Perhaps we should finish talking now that we have a moment of peace." She just wanted to figure out what was going on, where they stood, but camp had certainly been lively that day.

Well let’s get to sleeping,” Nova said to her mate.
