Athena‘a breath hitches in her throat and she suddenly found it hard to swallow. She opened her mouth to take a deep breath as she trotted through the forest. “That’s... awful! How did the prey come to be poisoned?” She asked.

Moon glanced at Max and got out of her nest. She sat by his side and leaned against him. “Are you ready?” She asked.

Striker nodded his head and looked up at the Alpha. “ Sir, this might seem a bit extreme, but I know about the sickness and I was wondering if I should tell lightning pack about it. Just In case they try to be sneaky or something.” He said calmly to the large Alpha.

Tendril shook her head miserably. "We aren't sure. It was just discovered yesterday... we don't know how long it could have even existed." She took calming breaths as the group switched course and came closer to camp. "However, I have a suspicion it may have been from extremely dirty water coming from little rain pools. That'a about the only way that this disease can spread to different kinds of creatures. Unless they bite each other, but I highly doubt mice will bite baby deer." She chuckled despite herself. "Thankfully, I believe that the river bordering the Lightningwolves is clean."

"I dunno, but...but let’s go! Papa will be able to tell us more!" Catania insisted, jumping up to gently, but worriedly nip her trainer's shoulder.

Max gently nuzzled Moon. "As ready as I'll ever be." He looked to Striker. "Go," He agreed. "As much as they are our rivals, it's still best they know, but do not reveal that any of our Warriors have been infected," He ordered.

Striker nodded and ran off. He passed Tendril and some other wolves on the way out of camp. He kept running till he got to the border of Fire pack territory, and he slowed to a fast walk. “ Ok... now what” he said to himself. Being as quiet as he can, he walked towards the river. He scanned The riverbed and saw stepping stones across it. Don’t want to get my fur wet today. he thought with a grin. He hopped across and into lightning territory. aren’t there any guards? He thought to himself.

Tendril entered the camp with the other two wolves hurriedly. She stepped aside to let the through, then looked over her shoulder. She padded forwards to find a spot close by to listen to the important announcement. “‘Scuse me, pardon, thanks,” she scooter forwards and sat down, worry etched on her face. Alpha max looked over the wolves and asked if anyone had seen Everest. “No, Alpha,” she dipped her head and shifted into a stance that showed she was ready to get up. “I may look for her, however, if you wish me to.”

Tendril lifted her head slightly proud. "I do not know where she is but I think I am swift on my paws!" Tendril barked, standing up quickly. "I will attempt to find her." She looked as Talon approached. "Oh, that would be splendid. Thank you!" She dipped her head to Talon in gratitude.
