Shadow looked down at the young Pup. "It's alright. Don’t worry, all shall be well, little one." The white Alpha's voice softened.

Awkwardness crossed his face. "Actually I’m not headed there. I'm headed..." He frowned. "I don’t even know. Catchin' up with Val. She wanted company. You can join us if you want!"

Athena paused as she was about to add something when she heard their names being called. She nodded to Catania for her to follow and she padded over to Tendril. “What’s up?” She asked.

Moon was satisfied with her answers and she walked over to her nest to rest.

Tendril swiftly padded up to the pair of wolves and dipped her head. "I'm sorry to interrupt your training session, but Alpha Max is calling an important meeting for all Firewolves to Camp for a meeting." She panted lightly, then made a weak attempt at a grin, the worry in her eyes giving her away. "We have to go there quickly."

The wispy grey female looked up at her trainer. "We've been out all day. Maybe we’re supposed to go back?" It was just a guess, but the best she had. Then Tendril showed up, and Catania's eyes widened. "Sky-Dogs! Papa doesn't make announcements unless it's super important!"

Tendril nodded at Catania. Her tail began to tingle with energy and worry "Y-yes, it's important. Vital, in extreme cases! Oh, my tail is tingling." she snorted. "Let's go, for this we don't want to keep him waiting!" she chuckled nervously then turned to head back to camp, heading away fast, feeling light on her paws but heavy on her shoulders.

Athena froze slightly when she noticed Tendril’s worried eyes. She glanced down at Catania before she began walking back to camp. “What is this about?” She whispered to Tendril, trying to keep her voice say from Catania’s ear so she didn’t worry the young one.

Moon glanced at Max and got out of her nest. She sat by his side and leaned against him. “Are you ready?” She asked.

Tendril stopped for a heartbeat to come shoulder-to-shoulder with Athena. "It's really serious. Have you heard of.. the prey's disease yet?" She didn't wait for a response as her eyes found the ground, thinking for a moment. "It's been infecting prey such as sparrows, mice, rabbits, and when I was out earlier a very young, newborn doe's foal." she inhaled, jumping over a small log. "Wolves who eat this sick prey apparently become ill as well. Zack ate an entire poisoned rabbit, the poor thing. He's extremely sick and... and might not survive." She gulped down a lump in her throat and ducked under a branch. "Mattias ate a little bit of a different animal, and has it as well, though not as terrible as Zack. Sand, Dune's pup..." She stopped there, not knowing what to say. "Jasmine is treating her and I'm sure she will be fine." Tendril seemed to be convincing herself more than Athena. "Alpha Max is making an announcement to all wolves about this. It's dangerous."
