Moon glanced at her mate then back at Acero and Athena. “Well I think it’s nice that you don’t want to believe it but sometimes even the people you trust the most can defy you. Don’t just look the other way” she spoke up.

Aiyana flicked her tail. "Follow me." She paused at the den entrance, gazing at the unconscious form of Aala, where Naru and Karter stood close by. She dipped her head to them. "I’ll see you tomorrow. Call me if you need me." Glancing over her shoulder to Ashton, she offered a small smile. "Goodnight, Ashton." Then she headed for the Trainee den.

"Precisely. Now, the hour grows late. Sleep now, I will think on the situation tonight, and speak directly with Arian in the morning. The issue..." he paused. The issue is to catch her without Erle around, which has been, I’ve noticed, increasingly difficult. "The issue will be looked into," he promised.

Acero dipped his head in response. There was nothing more they could say or do here to plead their cause. I can only hope that we sleep amongst friends tonight, and not amongst the enemy. He glanced at Athena. "I suppose...that means we’ve been dismissed," he noted.

Aiyana slid into the small den and gathered together enough moss for an extra nest for the night. "Yeah, it’s not very spacious in here, but at the same time you won’t have wolves crowding you on all sides," she said.

Athena glanced at Acero with relief in her eyes and suddenly she felt very fatigued.

Moon studied her mate. “We can’t let them deal with that on their own in case something serious happens” she pointed out.
