"These herbs will bring her back to strength so she can wake fully and keep calm," she explained, glancing at Nightfall.

Fish glanced over briefly at her friend as he lay down. It was nice out here, just the two of them, the stars sparkling coldly overhead, the sound of rushing water ahead of them, and no wolves snoring to disturb the peace. "It’s...really nice out here at night. I’ve never been out by night."

Shadow closed her eyes, relaxing, tension leaving her body as she felt Ash curling around her, just a bit. It's been...many months since I let out any emotion of my own free will...it solved a problem. Why do I keep emotions locked away? Does it really make me a better leader? She asked herself.
