Shade glanced over to Naomi, giving a confused expression. “Huh I guess I expected more protest?” He chuckled, turning his gaze ahead. “So is any of it real?” He muttered, glancing over through the corner of his eye. “The mean act, like no one matter? The idea that many are just useless mutts? Is that really how you think?” He asked curiously, his tail swaying as he moved forward one paw in front of the other.

Ghost nodded with her thoughts, agreeing whole heatedly. He turned his gaze to the ground at her question. “I umm I’m not entirely sure...” he muttered his ears shot up, he glanced around. His tail curling down, ears pulling back. She shook his head, turning back to Becka. “I...I thought I heard something?

Mercury glanced to his sides, assuming both were ready. He decided when he felt they were close enough, to attack. He leaped from the grass, chasing the deer. He bit at their hooves, sending them into a panic. He chased the herd separating the weaker and younger ones from the group. Glancing over to see if Kaj, and Lowell were with him and ready.

Corentin silently gritted his teeth when Ghost seemed to notice something was up. His packmate was clearly in a heightened state of alertness, which told him that Naomi's comments had bothered Ghost profoundly enough to cause him significant anxiety. That information was useful for knowing how Ghost was processing things, but it was much less useful for stealth missions. Fortunately, the loner seemed to be in a much more relaxed mindset and did not notice anything. Still, Corentin's instincts were to retreat before he was discovered. There was a chance that the loner would calm Ghost enough for Erebos and Corentin to get away with staying, but it was just that, a chance.
The scout turned to Erebos and raised an eyebrow while he flicked an ear back in the direction they had come, silently and subtly asking if they should leave for now.

Needle stood and watched until the shapes of Kali and Nova had disappeared from sight and she found herself alone once again. The first thing she did was breathe a deep sigh. There was something so relaxing about the quiet and solitude of being alone that she always seemed to enjoy. In a way, she was in a very restricted position, seeing as she was bound to this place until other wolves returned to take over guard duty. Yet, in another way, she was very free. Without anyone watching, Needle had no need to impress or to maintain authority. She could do as she pleased without judgement, and that in itself was enough freedom for her to be thankful to have it.
The first thing Needle did was gently pick up the rabbit Kali had left for her and take it to a generously-sized boulder near the center of the clearing. Needle liked to stand there when she held meetings, but it was also a nice place to rest while on lookout duty. Being up a little higher gave her an expanded field of vision, and she happened to find this boulder particularly comfortable as well. Needle settled down on her belly with her lunch between her paws and began eating.

When Mercury leaped into action, Kaj did the same. He bounded through the grass, picking up speed as he approached the herd. Kaj made sure to stay a few paces behind Mercury, allowing the fellow hunter to pick through the herd. The rejected targets were helped along by Kaj, who snapped at their heels as they passed, inspiring them to move away. Likewise, he sent the smaller, weaker deer back towards the middle, where Mercury was working. Kaj was too focused on his own task to do much glancing around, but he assumed Lowell was acting in a similar manner on Mercury's other side. Soon, Mercury had divided the herd well and had a small selection of preferred prey.
"On your mark!" Kaj barked.
He was ready to attack, but only when Mercury gave the signal. Coordination was vital if they wanted to bring down a deer without letting them escape.

Becka

Becka was glad her words brought some comfort to her new friend, though that did not seem to help him much in deciding what his next steps would be. She was about to lay out the options as she saw them and try to help Ghost come to a conclusion, when she noticed him reacting to something, as if he were startled.
"Hm?"
Becka sniffed the air. She could faintly pick up the stale scents of the Blood Moon border that was not too far off, and the fresher scent on Ghost, himself, but aside from those, there did not seem to be any signs of nearby wolves that she was aware of. Becka remained oblivious to the expert scout and his beta crouched in the bushes, just within earshot.
"I... I don't smell anything..." Becka muttered as she sampled the air. "Do you want to move?"
Becka had enough sense to see that Ghost probably did not want to see his packmates right now, and was paranoid of being followed. Whether there was reason to move or not, Becka respected her companion's need for peace of mind after the no-doubt difficult experience he had just fled from.

Kayla listens to Shade reply to Naomi's question, hoping Ghost will be okay. Upon hearing Shade asking her if she could take Kade back to the pack camp she nods, agreeing that it is a good idea. "Thats probably for the best." she said. "Good luck and be careful Shade. Come on Kade, lets go back to the pack. We can continue showing you around the territory later." She gently noses Kade in the direction towards the pack camp, following behind him to make sure he stays safe along the way.

She watched at them silently, sighing she looked at Corentin "This is stupid, let's öeave them be" she said turning to leave the two wolves to chat with each other, especially when the stranger did seem to be a bad one. He looked at the male wolf next to her "you can go and do whatever you want, I need to do some huntings to the pack" she told him, walking away.

She looked at Solaris, feeling little disappointed as he told her that this could be enough for today, sighing she sniffed the scent of a deer which was still somewhat fresh, but likely the animals already got out of their territory "so will we go back now?" she asked facing the adult wolf once more.

He narrowed his eyes when the she-hunter faced him "yes you are noisy and yes I could do better, but I don't feel like it, right now" he said to her, slowing his head over his paws "as you can see, I am taking my peaceful happy times by myself" he said to her.

She tilted her head and smirked. "So, in other words you can't because you won't. That does not prove you're any better, so hah!" Alize stepped back a bit with a proud look on her face. Her reasoning wasn't very good, but the young, immature wolf felt pleased with herself nonetheless.

He laid his ears back against his skull, visibly cringing at how noisy Erebos was being by speaking her somewhat fickle opinion out loud, seeing as she was the one that had wanted to come out here in the first place. Surely the two white wolves they were watching would have heard that. At this point, there was no sense in him trying to keep up the illusion any longer either.
"Alright, alright." he hissed, still fruitlessly keeping his voice low. "I'll report to Shade, then."
Someone needed to, after all. He had not learned much from this trip, but there were still some useful pieces of information to deliver. Corentin knew that Ghost was with that same loner again, and he now knew what that loner looked like. It was something, and something was better than nothing. He moved swiftly back towards the Blood Moon border, letting Erebos wander in her own direction to do the aforementioned hunting. Hopefully, he could at least get out of here fast enough that Ghost and his loner friend would not be inclined to confront him.

After awhile, all Needle had left was a few tufts of stray fur and smudges of blood. It had been a nice, light meal and she was glad to have it. Needle watched idly as the tufts of rabbit fur quivered in the wind, waiting for a breeze to send them tumbling from the boulder to be carried off into the distance. Nothing of interest seemed to be happening, and she was growing impatient. Needle had wanted to send out a hunting party this afternoon, but with her patrol still absent and half her pack off by themselves, it was looking less and less likely that would work out. She was tempted to do a little hunting herself so that her pack would have something for dinner, but she could hardly leave camp empty. If someone did not show up soon, she would howl them back and get everyone more organized.

Her ears pricked up and she froze, staring off into space as she focused on the sound.
"Wait, you're right. I think I do hear something."
Becka paused for a moment, still listening.
"Voices..."
It sounded like two wolves were speaking to one another just within earshot. One of the voices was louder, and if she listen closely, she could make out what the wolf was saying. It was something about "this" being "stupid", whatever "this" was. Becka guessed it was in reference to the spying. Then, the voice dismissed the other wolf with them and mentioned something about hunting. The second voice was quieter, no doubt trying not to be heard. It was quiet enough that she could not decipher individual words.
Maybe Ghost had been right to be paranoid after all. Technically, the voices could belong to any wolf, but given the circumstances, they were almost certainly Blood Moon wolves.

The pup hung his head glaring at Naomi full of resentment and hate for interrupting and he walked with his mother back to camp. He bottled up his feelings and took off in anger away from camp and quickly dodging trees. He didn’t know why he was acting this way and couldn’t help it. His mind went blank and he ran.

Kayla sees Kade running off all of a sudden and rushes after him, keeping up with him after a couple of strides. "Kade!" she said, picking up his anger. "Are you okay? What made you run off all of a sudden? Youre not really like this at all."

Solaris could see the disappointment in the pups's eyes and frowned. There was nothing he could do about the deer passing the border and he wasn't about to trespass to simply show the pup a deer or two. That would be dangerous and Solaris was smart enough not to teach her this early on to ignore territory lines. "Mmm no, we don't have to go back right away, but we can't go any further this direction." He said slowly, trying to think of a way to appease the pup in a safe way. "This is as far as we can go without being in Shadow pack territory." He mused looking around and then nudging her. "We can follow the border for a bit and see if any deer circle back though; if you would like? As long as we don't cross it we should be fine.."

Kali and Nova

The two wolves had made their way out of camp and headed off in the direction of one of the many rivers on Shadow territory. Kali and Nova spent their time relaxing in the river downstream before getting to business on the training. First things first, Kali ensured that Nova was familiar with the ground around the river, aware of any sudden dips or exposed roots. It was important to know the terrain around any body of water. Once this was over they moved onto the actual fishing. Kali had spent many years fishing in rivers and it was one of the few things she genuinely enjoyed doing. So, as she taught her daughter she glowed with pride and joy, enjoying their simple bonding time. Within an hour Nova had nearly managed to catch her first fish and Kali was onto her second, pausing the training for a well-deserved snack break on the river bank.

She made a quick look back at Corentin, a little confused as she was not talked that loud, but another way there could not be any problem about them hearing her. As both the loner and Ghost were outside of their borders, itäs could only mean that they could be more like a loner for now. She took her way toward some trees she knew lived some birds, rabbit or luckily even boars, maybe she could find some piglets as an adult could be too much for one wolf.

She nodded getting back to her excited mood "oh cool great, that's sound interesting, I was already thinking If I did something wrong and you wanted to get rip of me and that's the way you said so...." she said flicking her ears, hearing some voices "hmm to you hear that? I was very sure I heard Kayla's voice calling for Kade?" she said lifting her shoulder "hm maybe I was just thinking..." she laughed.

He watched at her annoyed "Well If you're really that great hunter then what are you standing there for? Get lost to catch those rabbits" he said to her standing up to his paws and got down the mossy rock 'great, do I seriously need to get out of the territory to get some rest?' he thought to sigh.
