The king looked at his bishop as she approached. Her body language was respectful and submissive, as one would expect. After she finished speaking, he responded. "I will be heading out to hunt for deer and elk soon, so I don't require food. Has any news arisen that I should be made aware of?" He asked the bishop. Nothing super interesting had happened recently, but it was important to keep up with events in the kingdom.

The loner felt a bit confused. This older wolf was trying to warn her about something or someone. Who was going to force her to join them if she was found? Why? Was she trespassing on someone's territory? Normally, she would have been reluctant to trust this wolf, but she couldn't afford the risk of being found by "them." "Well, what direction should I go?" She inquired of the stranger.

Cassius watched as Roger took no time in taking one rabbit for himself, noticing Drogo's small snarl out of the corner of his eye. He sighed slightly. There was no eating order which was the way he made it, but it was still curtious to let the older wolves eat first. Cassius decided to do just that. The male sat down, waiting for Bernadette to take a rabbit or two first. While he sat and waited Cassius thought to himself about which way they should go next, maybe they'd find a home here. It seems pretty nice so far.

Shy thought about it for a moment. I suspect they aren't familiar with kingdom territory... perhaps I should show them. "Back the way you came, I'll show you." She said, sounding a little more relaxed. She knew it must be weird for the other wolf, it even felt weird to her but she was only trying to protect them. The fae then stepped closer to the loner, making sure to appear non-threatening as she passed, and then slowly began to lead the way looking back at them over her shoulder.

After chewing one and a half of a rabbit, he didn't feel content with the meal yet, But since other wolves need a share of the meal, Roger stopped eating and sat down, looking towards the horizon.

Viewing at the scenery, countless thoughts popped up in his head, such as 'Where will we find a home?'and 'What if there are other packs nearby?'. Yet, since the only threat, he knew was the kingdom of Chazar, is there other packs that are called a kingdom as well?.

The world is vast and has yet to be explored, many possibilities are bound to happen, some may not happen but it is noteworthy. Telling the guild about an existence such as the kingdom of Chazar would definitely instill worry on the guild, such worry is unnecessary since nothing really happened yet, so for the time being, Roger will tell them when the time comes.

....

While Roger was waiting for the pack to be done eating, curiosity lingered in Rogers mind. As the members were loners that came from somewhere, the leader "Cassius" was a different story.

Sapien when he was a cub, heard stories from his Adoptive father when he was a part of a pack before, usually, he said that his pack strives for territory inside forests for the resources they had, but because of an encounter with their rivals while searching through the forest, things got pretty rough, going downhill. At that moment, he stopped continuing the story as it contains some elements not suitable for a cub, so he told Sapien that he was too young to listen further.

Roger heard stories of packs that contained members, that are either by blood or adopted from other packs but never contained loners. So Roger stood up and went to Cassius to ask something.

"Hey lead- I mean uh Cassius, it's okay if you do not really want to answer but, why did you leave your pack behind to become a loner?"

Being suspicious, to be a leader, he must've seen some leadership in action back when he was still back at the pack. But it would be unusual for a wolf to desert just like that from his pack, even if the conditions were harsh back there, only wolves who had clear motives or inspiration would have had the confidence to stray from their pack and become a loner.

Waiting patiently for the rest of the guild to eat, Cassius sat with his thoughts. All of them were mostly positive, however there were a few that weren't. What if they never found a home suitable? Or what if they ran into trouble. Cassius was lost in his mind then, not really paying attention to his surroundings until a voice snapped him out of it. Roger had asked him a question. "Hey lead- I mean uh Cassius, it's okay if you do not really want to answer but, why did you leave your pack behind to become a loner?" Cassius looked at the male and thought for a minute before he answered "I didn't like the way my pack was being led." Cassius explained "My old alpha wasn't exactly the nicest wolf around, and a majority of the wolves under him didn't like his leadership either... none of us could really do anything about it." The male recalled those days while speaking. "He led his pack with fear. I believe a pack should be led by an alpha who is kind but stern. So I decided then to leave, I tried to get my family and friends to come with me but they were either too scared to or they had their own reasons. I made a choice not to live like that anymore." He paused for a second, looking at everyone gathered around the pile of rabbits before he added "I know this pack or guild as I like to call it... has titles, but they don't determine how one is treated. We are all equals here."

The loner watched as the wolf began to lead her away from the territory. Though her instincts were now screaming at her to be careful, another part was telling her to follow. She shook off her nervousness and followed the female. The youngster could smell the strong scent of other wolves on her, which told her she did indeed belong to a pack. Why she was trying to help her, Dakota did not know. Must be a pretty bad pack since this wolf was helping her.

The black wolf listened as Cassius told the tale of why he left his old pack. He thought of his own history and the shrewdness of his mother. It was suppose to be every wolf for themselves....wasn't it? Shaking the thought from his mind Drogo turned his attention back to the guild members and awaited them to eat their fill. "Equality is just a dream." He spoke the words before he had time to realize what he said.

Ira nodded as the King spoke of going hunting for himself soon. It made her even more proud to serve such a king, one who would go hunt his own food rather than expect it to be brought to him. "Has any news arisen that I should be made aware of?" His question almost took the female off guard. She hadn't heard from any of the knights yet today. "Well, no word yet from any of the knights sir." She answered quickly. "Though I haven't heard from any of them at all. I can go check." Ira quickly bowed and turned to go patrol the territory.

Cassius overheard Drogo voice his thoughts, but Cassius wasn't mad. Everyone had a right to speak what the felt. The male avoided saying something then, and decided it was best not to. Instead he focused his mind on which way they should travel. Still while waiting for everyone else to eat, he changed the subject. "Are you all content with which way we're traveling?" He asked, directing the question to everyone. "Maybe there's something suitable over those hills that way." he suggested, nodding in that direction.

The fae realized that the wolf had actually heeded her warning, and was following her. She sighed slightly, at least she managed to do some good in her life. But now what? She wondered. Should she say something else? Or should they walk in silence. Keeping her focus on where she was leading the loner she decided to go with option 1. Names were a good place to start. "Um... what's your name if you don't mind my asking." She said calmly.

Hearing Cassius' question, Roger agrees with the suggestion.

"Sure, we could go over the hills there, who knows, maybe we could find a cave there."

Feeling a bit peeved about what Drogo muttered, Roger wanted to console Drogo about what he said, but since there might be a chance Drogo might go into an argument with Roger, Roger sighed and wanted to go somewhere just to get some fresh air, perhaps he could find something interesting to spend time waiting. So before leaving, he said to Cassius:

"Hey, Lea- I mean Cassius, I'll just go somewhere to wait at, tell me if we're going to move. You can sniff me out to find me if I don't respond."

Before going into the forest, Roger said something before he left.

"By the way, you remind me of someone I used to know."

Going into the forest, Roger spends his time scouting the forest, there could be other wolves out there besides him and his guild anyways.

"Oh Bernedette, don't be so hard on yourself. Tracking something is a great idea." said Cassius. While Bernadette appreciated the reassurance, it wouldn't matter in the end. She was getting old, unable to perform tasks like most wolves could do. And luck was not on her side. She rose her head and gave a slight shake of her upper body, "Hey, leader!" Bernadette's ears flicked backward before the rest of her head followed in pursuit. Bernadette almost scowled at the outburst of the younger wolf, but she finally realized that it was Sapien, trying to get the attention of Cassius. He held what appeared to be a sack of some sort, something Bernadette had never seen, at least. She tilted her head upward and sniffed at the incoming wolf.

"Here, I brought some rabbits, in case you guys are hungry, since time is short, this is what I can prepare. Dig up while it's still fresh!" So that's where Sapien had been. How did he get so many in such a short time? Bernadette decided it was better not to question, instead, she padded towards the revealed carcasses and leaned down to grab one. She wouldn't admit, but she was glad she didn't have to do anything to retrieve this meal. She always loved helping, but she knew her body wouldn't allow such extreme hunts anymore.

The alabaster canine flopped down on the ground with her rabbit. Her aching joints said 'finally' as she tore at the rabbit's flesh, feeding her hungry stomach. She didn't eat much, but she ate enough to keep her full for the time being. While the rest of the wolves continued to feast, Bernadette herself decided to have a little cat-nap. Or, well, a wolf-nap, rather. "Hey lead- I mean uh Cassius, it's okay if you do not want to answer but, why did you leave your pack behind to become a loner?" Her ears perked, but her brain told her that sleep was most important if she wanted to rest a little before moving again. Cassius had barely begun his reply when Bernadette slipped away.

"Are you all content with which way we're traveling?" this woke her up, her ears twisted forward to catch every single word, more or less. Bernadette's crystal yellow orbs flickered open and landed on Cassius. Crap! She didn't sleep very long, did she? The alabaster female rose to all fours, "Maybe there's something suitable over those hills that way." slowly, her gaze followed as Cassius lead his muzzle towards the direction he spoke of. Bernadette was completely fine wherever they wanted to go, so in response, she gave a nod.

The male turned and headed away from the den area and into the forest. Stone raised his head as he continued to walk, sniffing for deer and or elk.

The loner's ears perked when the other female asked her name. She wasn't sure why she was a bit surprised, but maybe she just assumed they where gonna walk in silence. "Oh, uh, I'm Dakota." She replied a bit quickly. She felt another rumble in her stomach, but shook it off. She could try to hunt once she was outside of pack territory, though something inside her doubted she would catch anything.
