///forgiving mountainsides. the pack resides within the mountain upon a flat p
///art. the alpha's den is perched above, overseeing the packgrounds with the
///beta's den just below it where it connects to the grounds. the gatherers an
///d warriors share a massive den that is carved inside the mountain. the med
///ic's shelter is separated from the pack and can be seen downhill, but still c
///lose to the packgrounds. further beneath the grounds is the hunting ground
///s and river where all members may descend in order to get a drink and whe
///re gatherers retrieve food. the nursing den is nestled into the rocky mounta
///in beside the beta's, where it is easily accessible.

xxdrip......drop......drip......drop the consistent patter of sweating icicles rang throughout jägger's cave. the eves of the cave were laden with the trickling translucent dagger's, their remnants forming a puddle at the base of the entrance. had it been that warm for them to sweat? a gentle sigh escaped the male's dappled maw, his orbs blinking the residue of sleep away. there at the throat of the cave, laid the male's massive frame, curled in a tight ball in order to preserve what heat was left. the night had maliciously swept such necessities away with it's harsh unforgiving blizzard. but as always, with every blizzard came a beautiful morning. jägger's caffe orbs squinted as the sun's piercing rays beamed through the dangling cicles, causing it to glimmer a spectacle. it was time to gather all that was needed, surely all wildlife would be emerging at this time of day to embrace the weather that dakota was granting. all was calm, but surely not for long. a beautiful day like this meant a busy one. arising to his lanky pillars, the muscular male powerful strode out of his den, his paws halting at the mouth of the cave as he peered down the steep hill that lead to the flatland where most of his members communed throughout. just below his den was where he knew his trusty beta jasmine laid, her den easily leading out to the grounds as for it was connected to it. a warm smile crept across his maw while he surveyed his land. a fresh blanket of snow marked his territory for as far as the eye could see, and the lake, the lake was slightly frozen over, enough for a pup to run along but surely not sturdy for a canine of his size. that was perfect. he proudly perched upon his cleft as he continued to survey his land, the wind slightly buffeting his fur, causing it to part in some ways. with a brisk nod, jägger descended down his slope, his massive paws interrupting the ice, causing some to roll down in crumbs. he'd peak his cranium into his beta's den first, giving her a welcoming dip before peering into the rest of the dens, repeating his actions as he greeted all who were aroused. his final stop was at the medics den who was a little further down the hill from the grounds. he felt somewhat pityful that she was so far from the pack, but she was always welcomed to join the others on the flat when all were aroused. as he set his paw into the cool cave, he'd peer over at the damsel and gently smile "good morning wren, i hope you slept well, we will be having our meeting very soon. i'd appreciate it if you'd come up to the flat" he gently whispered. with a cordial dip of his cranium, he was gone, his massive frame gracefully bounding up the steep slope to return to his perch, his orbs intently watching for the pack to come alive.

Nikki woke up to the sun beaming and the cold tree's snow dripping onto his fur. He whimpered softly at his hunger and glanced around to see if there was anything he could eat. After giving his surroundings a careful check, he turned his attention to where we last saw his mother's corpse. Perhaps it was time to move on? He dug his muzzle into the snow, before turning tail. Breathing softly as he padded through the cold. His paw-steps forming a small path behind him. He trampled through the snow, before settling down and whimpering at the hunger clawing at his stomach. He laid down with his head between his paws and store at the trees, lit up by the sun.

Tadao yawned and rose to her paws. She stepped out of the den, shaking off some water which dripped from the mouth of the den. Having to adjust her eyes to the sun's light for a moment. She glanced around the clearing, then back to the den. She rose her snout to the air and took in a long, hard breath. She usually loved mornings. The lazy feeling and strange temperatures. She turned to look up the slope, having smelt Jägger's scent. He must have just come by. Suddenly, she heard his paw-steps and turned her head to watch as he leapt up and sat down. Tadao moved towards him and sat down quietly. Looking up at him with a tilted head.
