FOLLOWING THE FALL OF THE ORIGINAL CLANS, cats were lost. They drifted between groups and no clan ever stayed together longer than a few moons. They were hopeless. More and more cats were being taken in by twolegs and the forest was becoming smaller and smaller with each passing day. Finally, after many years of suffrage, a group took initiative and left everything behind in search of something new. These cats became Pineclan. After travelling for many moons with pauses in between, they finally reached the perfect, untouched place they had been waiting for. No twoleg settlements rested here and no black pavement coated the earth. The cats were convinced this was their haven. They turned a blind eye to the obvious flaws, like how the predators were much more dangerous than before and how little protection they really had. They may not have known this at the time, but they needed a guardian. Their guardians came in the form of The Tribe of the Jagged Peaks.

THE TRIBE OF THE JAGGED PEAKS had been through it all. Starvation, dehydration, battles with rogue cats, yet nothing could prepare them for the cats of Pineclan. The cats had somehow been through something much worse than the hand of mother nature; they had been through the hand of man. They observed the cats for days, instead of attacking like they usually did with rogues, because they knew they were different. They watched their triumphs, like when they caught their first catch in the new land, and they watched their grief; like when one of their kits drowned in the raging river. They never interfered, always just watching and recording their behaviors. Then, it all changed, they finally saw their true colors when they lost their deputy. They cared deeply for each other, unlike rogues who never felt remorse when one of their own died. They saw the tears shed, the praying to their imagined gods. When they saw this, they knew they were different. They knew they had to help them.

007. names and appearances should stay realistic. a tribe cat's name, for example, shouldn't be "graystripe"
instead it should be something like "star that shines on water,"
008. keep in mind that almost all of the time orange cats are males, white cats with blue eyes are deaf, &
calico/tortie toms are sterile
009. queens won't be open but kit-mothers will be
010. drama is encouraged! nothing big, however, like killing someone else's cat. forbidden relationships are a plus too!

less likely to bother the cats.

CURRENT PLOT
this roleplay will be starting with the tribe
cats finally deciding to reveal themselves
and offer protection and guidance to pin-
eclan.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TRIBE CATS

these cats live in the mountains surrounding the forest.
because of the cold temperatures, they are mostly long-
furred cats. they, too, use the river as their water sour-
ce, this is typically where they watch the cats. they're m-
asters of disguise and very rarely do they get caught by
a predator, much less another cat. their bodies are built
for fighting, and the ones who do hunt are usually chosen
at birth for being the weakest among their clan mates. t-
he dens are small holes along the mountain peaks. their-
biggest threat are snakes that can climb through the cra-
cks. the cats must be able to climb and if they aren't tra-
ined at a young age how to do so, they will most likely n-
ot survive. their hunting grounds overlap pineclan's, tho-
ugh they rely mostly on fishing and bird-catching.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CLAN CATS

these cats live in a coniferous forest. there is a waterfall
just south of the camp that follows out into a river,
this is their primary water source. the trees don't p-
rovide much shelter from the elements, so the cats
live in old underground rabbit burrows. the leader-
's den is the largest in size, but the hardest to esca-
pe if flooding happens or a predator enters. the me-
dicine cat den is the less likely to flood and is very
shallow. this is to keep herbs dry and safe. the warr-
ior's den is easy to escape and the widest, for obvio-
us reasons. the apprentice den is just a tiny bit sma-
ller than the warrior's den. the queen's den is a bra-
nch off of the medicine cat den, where the medicine
cats can have easy acess to the queens. the elders d-
en is also another branch of the medicine cat den. t-
he camp is in the middle of the forest, so it is easy f-
or a predator to stumble upon.
