"Pascal is a fun name.." she replied, smiling more at him calling his horse an old man."Apollo is a really nice name too.. and yeah, I get it. New home, new horses, new people and stuff, it could get kind of startling and out of hand.. I can go bring Dewdrop to her stall, and then come back and help if you want" she offered, gesturing towards the barn. Looking back at her mare, she began to wonder how her mare would react to the new place. 'She probably won't mind, I just hope she'll get along with all the other horses' she thought to herself quickly, before paying attention to Pascal again.

"let me grab Apollo and I'll come with you." he said as he jogged back to his trailer. He opened the back doors and lowered a rotting ramp. The trailer had seen better days for sure. He shimmied in and a giant of a horse was pushed back out. He was pushing against Apollo's chest with the lead rope in one hand. The stallion kicked up a fuss, but ultimately complied with his owner's wishes. He let Apollo settle down before coming back to Dewdrop and McKenzie.

Watching, she observed as Pascal went over to his trailer, watching as he opened it. Taking a few steps closer to Dewdrop, she kept her eyes fixed on the trailer, curious on what Apollo would look like. Eyes widening at the size of him, she blinked, impressed on the size of him. Nodding to herself, McKenzie walked over to Dewdrop and took the mare's lead, untying it from the trailer and gently tugging it, walking over to Pascal and Apollo."Well, are we set to go?" she asked, looking at Pascal and Apollo as Dewdrop snorted, bumping her trainer's shoulder with her muzzle. Turning, to her horse, she lightly poked it, before turning back to Pascal.

Pascal had tied a bandana over Apollo's eyes. This seemed strange, but she could only assume he didn't like to travel. "sure. We're ready." the scars on his horse stood out against his jet black coat. He removed the blind fold and straight away, he was nervous. His head raised and his ears pinned back against him. He was harder to control, but Pascal managed somehow.

Nodding, McKenzie started walking forwards, Dewdrop, who was snorting and shaking her head followed her. Glancing at Apollo and Pascal, she noticed the scars on Apollo, and his nervous behavior. Looking back at Dewdrop who was taking her time and sniffing at the ground, she smiled. "You seem to get along nicely with each other, a fitting pair.." she remarked, gently tugging on the lead again, causing Dewdrop to lift her head and move to catch up with her rider.

"he can be quiet a handful. But we both went through some hard times and came out of it together." Pascal smiled and gave Apollo's neck a rub. He had to smile at how chilled Dewdrop was compared to his nervous stallion. "I honestly thought something this big wouldn't be a push over..." he let Apollo rest his head on his shoulder. It sort of looked like a hug.

Nodding more, McKenzie let out a thoughtful hum. "It shows with how close you two are.." she said, smiling at Apollo's move of resting his head on Pascal's shoulder. She sighed, walking with Dewdrop quietly. Looking around, she observed the nature and the unfamiliar environment. It was a lot different from her home where she came from, and she felt a quick thing of fear shoot through her, and she slowed down a bit as she walked, reaching out to pet her horse's neck quietly.

He couldn't help but smile at the thought of him and Apollo being so close. It was a nice feeling. "maybe later, we could go for a ride? The horses could use some down time after being on the road."

Looking at Dewdrop, she watched as her mare snorted loudly. "Sure, I think she'll like to stretch her legs, and it'll be a good chance to get to know more about here" she responded, snickering at her mare's odd behavior as she watched her shake her body out, again. "She's acting silly because she's antsy..." she muttered. Patting Dewdrop's neck, she grinned. Her mare was always able to put her in a good mood.

"well, let's go now." Pascal said with a smile. He led Apollo back to his truck and tied him to the trailer as he dug out his saddle. He had to have it made to measure as standard saddles didn't fit such a large breed. "I've got a smaller saddle if you need it?"
