The Iditarod Race has always been an Alaskan favorite. People of Alaska
and all over come to see the race every year. Both humans and dogs alike love to run in this race.
But times are changing.
One year the when the teams crossed the finish line only half of their team was still with them. It
happened again but worse the next. Dogs that we're seen at the starting line we're not seen at the finish
line. Which is common, that some dogs don't make it back. But humans didn't make it back either. The people
of Alaska were horror-struck. They talked among themselves and wondered if they should stop the races
completely. They asked the racers and of course they said no. Even the dogs didn't seem like they wanted the
races to stop. So reluctantly the races continued. It was that year when the top team in the country went
missing. A blizzard swept through, and they we're also swept off the trail. When the storm had passed, the
mushers set up camp. Since the races continued the people of Alaska decided to give the teams more dogs,
supplies, and people. However, when the dogs woke up the next morning they found themselves alone. No
trace of their humans. They we're alone. Lost in the snow.
The dogs searched for their humans but didn't find them. Somehow they knew they we're gone. And that they
we're alone. It was up to the dogs to survive. They would have to survive through the tough life of Alaska. Can
the dogs survive? Or will they also fall to their doom?
