Jenn had little him get a few seconds in before chasing him down. It didn’t take long to catch up but she stayed behind him on purpose. She knew she was better than the other dogs but she couldn’t rub it in their noses. Plus she liked Delgado and his company. Frankly he was the only dog that didn’t bother her all the time and he wasn’t pushy for answers from her. Keeping it at a close race, Jenna would let him win on purpose. Besides this was to keep in shape and keep their bones healthy.

Delgado and Jenna made it to the ruins within a few minutes. The ground was littered with massive chunks of debris. Broken glass, concrete, and metal were as far as the eye could see. The smell of death and decay was nauseating, especially to a dog’s sensitive nose. “Let’s get this over with.” Delgado grumbled. He always felt uneasy in the ruins.

Bella looked sadly down at the pups, forcing a smile onto her muzzle. “Don’t worry. I’m sure your mother will be back soon. She probably got lost during the earthquakes. She’s going to make her way here, and then you two can be with her again.” She replied. She knew their mother was most likely dead, but they didn’t need to know that.

Calla had finally made her way to see whether she needed to hunt or not. She decided that it was probably for the best she did, so alas. She began to make her way down into the woods, her eyes darting around the trees in search of anything that could sustain the pack for a decent amount of time. She managed to find a couple small scale prey, hiding them as best she could so they would be able to gather them up later.

Hearing the bark, he whipped round as Slaine landed on him. Grabbing onto her ear he growled as he wrestled with her. He kicked at her with his hind legs. Cailean wanted to be like Delagado when he grew up.

Slaine seemed to accept the answer and bounded off to catch up with Cailean. The little blue merle barked as she pounced onto her brother. Cailean whipped round and the two began to wrestle once again. As usual is was rough, but neither drew blood.

Jenn started to slow to a trot when they entered the ruins. "Be careful." she grumbled as she saw broken glass and sharp metal. The smell didnt bother her as much as seeing the bodies. For a bloody fighter, she didnt like seeing bones with partial flesh on them. "agreed. Dont want to start a fight here."
