Apollo frowned a bit and tilted his head. "Well, uh, ok," he said awkwardly. "If you do see me again though, you don't need to hide. I'm friendly," he said as he started walking away. That dog seemed kinda weird, though he supposed he would respect her wishes and go hunt somewhere else. He walked for a while, and then he found a house that seemed to be a bit isolated. He saw the pawprints of dogs in the snow. He looked at the window, and though he saw something move by. He hoped he wasn't in a dog's territory.

the hare would keep her for a day or two at most. at her age and body weight, she needed a bit more than that on a daily basis to keep her weight up and not look like a skeleton. laying down under the truck was enough cover that it kept her out of the snow and sight for the most part. unless someone was constantly looking at the ground they wouldn't even know she was there coming from the side of the vehicle. gail yawned, with a somewhat full belly, she decided a nap would do her some good, what little was left of the hare beside her.

She said softly then turned her head to look at the door, smelling another dog outside but she didn't mind it, knowing she had Sitka on her side now made her feel safe and she knew the younger dog wanted the rest of her story "okay." She started, looking at Sitka again "it was close to when the winter started, all the humans, including mine evacuated this area in search of a safer and warmed area, leaving me in the process. I ran away from my old house before a horrible blizzard started, I was soon caught up in the harsh weather with no where to go till is ran into this place... literally, I ran straight into the side of this building." She told him the story then let out a small chuckle "there were no humans here, they left in such a hurry that they didn't even take their food from the cabinets with them." She added then looked at Sitka "I've lived here ever since."

Though it made Apollo a little nervous, he wanted to meet the dogs in the house. He'd never seen them before. Holding his breath and hoping the dogs weren't dangerous, he pawed at the door a little. Sitka listener with rapt attention as Indy told her story, first frowning when he heard about how her humans abandoned her, then grinning, the smile joined by a thump of his tail against the ground as he heard how she ran literally into the building. That sounded exactly like something he would do.
“Wow, Indy. That is very lucky, this is a beautiful place!”
He paused to look around once more before continuing.
“I’m glad you doing this place, it’s very good that you’re safe. I can help you protect it if the humans ever try to come back!”
He beamed a smile at her, but as if on cue the door cracked open then. On instinct, Sitka was on his paws in an instant, hackles raised and tail erect. Although he didn’t bear his teeth, he couldn’t help a small, deep growl from escaping him at the thought of an intruder. While he wasn’t being threatening -one eye kept on Indy to see if he should be, or if aggression was necessary- his stance made him seem less like the half-grown pup he was, and more made him cut the intimidating figure of the fierce guard dog he would grow up to be.
Although he didn’t want to fight, necessarily, he wouldn’t hesitate if he thought Indy was threatened.

Indy heard the voice and stood, looking at the other dog that had just pawed the door open, standing next to Sitka, she stared at the new dog "Hello." She watched as those paws walked along.
Her heart started to slow down..The log she was lying under
was on further inspection a abandoned fox den.She felt
a certain warmth in the den which was strange because of the blistering
cold right at her paw tips,but....this place...with the dark walls
and cold soil under her paws felt familiar....too familiar.
She traveled in deeper and with each step it appeared as if
she was traveling back in time to when she was exploring the field
at the sheep farm.That's where she learned the most from,
in the forest past the old oak trees behind the wire fence....
there...in that little cavern on the side of the dirt mound.....
...scout started to tear up when remembering that moment.
Knowing that she wouldn't ever see Riley any more nor any
of her siblings made her heart ache."Im not going to sit here...
