Walking through pack land, she returned to the buzzing center of pack life. She moved through the clusters of dogs, some wagging tails, others droopy and desperate. Dodger had brought forth two guests. They were to be respected and treated kindly, obviously. Beijing decided to greet them, being the delta. She knew her role wasn't that of alpha or second in command, but deltas were still important. She worked her hardest at being one. The cocker spaniel pup seemed bright and cheery. Too cheery to be on the set of a post-apocalyptic happening. Beijing smiled at the pup, but her smile held a hidden sympathy for the child, though she held a positive facade. "Hello, Dodger." The Samoyed acknowledged Dodger, then turned to the guests. "Hello, Riku and Dawn. I'm Beijing, delta. Thanks for even considering our hopeful pack." Her tail wagged softly in appreciation of them, taking the time to come see what they had to offer. The more the merrier. More was good, but not necessarily merry. More dogs meant more safety and security. They could help each other in a pinch. In this deathly city stricken with a murderous illness, pinches happened frequently. There wasn't always a dog there to help get you out of one. The sun hadn't bothered itself with such an ugly, destroyed place. It would be yet another cloudy day. At least the drizzles had not yet begun, but the air was still uninviting and stiffened Beijing's coat. "The sun has been hiding, as usual. Hopefully we'll see the sun again soon." Beijing observed the young pup and another dog. He appeared to be a German Shepherd, but had hints of wolf to him. That was unusual but not unheard of. The thick-furred female met the male's eyes and nodded softly, welcoming him.female
