)Mei whipped her head around at Dakota’s cry. She slinked into the shadows, afraid there was some danger. Only her glowing eyes gave her position away as she stared at the newcomer. At first her mind said weasel, but this odd creature was too big to be a weasel. Moving closer, she examined the newcomer and was able to tell this animal had many feline-like features. She slowly tiptoed out of the shadows towards the new feline. She bowed her head down to show she meant no harm and waved her tail in a greeting. She was too anxious to speak, and she tried to avoid the urge to run back to the others. Perhaps becoming braver would make up for her troubles with hunting. At the same time, she noticed the black bird was still overhead.

)As Copper made his way further up the tree, he kept his sharp eyes on the seagull. He noticed the seagull starting to close his eyes. He started to salivate more as he got closer and closer. As he reached the branch the bird was resting on, Copper tried to be quiet, but the seagull still noticed him. “Why hello there,” Copper growled with a smile as he stretched out his claws and tried to swipe the bird from the branch.
