They needed to survive, and if this 'kingdom' of sorts was the way to do that, she'd have no problem in being a part of it, especially if it was filled with these animals, ones she'd come to trust with her life. The white wolf glanced around as eyes came to her, feeling slightly nervous under the expecting glances, did they want her to volunteer? to be this 'queen'..? She didn't know if she could do something like that. Dakota never was the type to lead, she'd been a scout in her previous pack.. not the alpha or the beta.. so how could she lead this one? especially one that was so.. unorthodox. Deciding to push away her negative thoughts, she stepped forward, her voice strong and steady as she address the large feline, her gaze nothing less than determined "I'd be happy to lead beside you as your queen, if you'd have me.." The wolf stepped forward further, her gaze fanning out across the animals who'd stepped out of hiding, their wary gazes focused up at the group of animals, probably confused as to what they were here for. She spoke out to them, hoping to show the feline that she was fit to lead, but also to prove the fact to herself "We'd be happy to have you all join us.. the more of us that work together, the greater chance we have at survival."

Copper was beginning to salivate. He knew he was right upon the cat, his nose couldn’t lie. He paused, realizing that he had been searching for a long time in the same spot. Growling, he knew he’d have to come up with a better plan. He turned tail and started to leave, purposefully stomping to alert the cat that he was leaving. He made quite a bit of distance, but paused before the area he was searching in was out of sight. He then crouched behind a large tree. His plan was to strike when the feline checked to make sure he was gone. He hoped it would be soon, the squirrel he ate wouldn’t hold him forever.
