Ravenshadow looked at Akela, then saw Akelas son. She had her paws full with Dutch. But she also remembered that her scent of heat would be faint but there, if Dutch caught her scent just right, instinct could help her control him. So she turned around once as if looking around, hoping Dutch caught her scent.

He looked at his pups and when he saw willow headed for Hera he jumped in front of her blocking her path. She may be his adopted pup but he won’t let her hurt his mate or Alphas. He growled glad Hera had talon, since talon was biologically his. He quickly grabbed Talon by the Sforeleg and pulled him off Hera biting down hard until he felt a crack then let go. “you have no business in this war boy, and you have no right to attack me or my alphas. I will not hesitate to kill you or Willow.” he growled going back to guarding Hera listening for Willow and watching Talon. It would hurt, but he wouldn’t hesitate to kill his pups.

Castle grinned, silently laughing. Suddenly she heard the sounds of war. Her whole body tensed, like an invisible force had seized it. That voice, whining in pain. That was.. Talon? "Nadie, I'll be back soon. Have fuuuuun!" Castle said, calmly. She knew that Nadie would follow her if she knew her real reason for leaving, and Castle had to do this alone. The fae sprinted as fast as she could. Talon might not have handled her well, but Castle knew she couldn't let him just be. She watched, horrified, as Talon was attacked by Hera, and Talon attacked Hera. Castle rushed in, snarling, "You touch Talon and you're touching me. That's my darlin'." Vicious jaws snapping, Castle leapt onto her backside and bit hard into her chest.
