The continent of Africa is booming with wildlife unseen in other countries. Thousands of different
species live in harmony in the African wilderness. Be it desert, savannah, or forest. In the food chain, it's the
cats that are at the top of the food chain. The lion, the leopard, and the cheetah are the big cats that rule
over the Savannah. These three giants of the Savannah are in constant competition over prey and territory.

One of the few big cats that live in complex social groups, lions
are mighty hunters, striking fear in any sane animal that hears their
mighty roar. The Moto Pride is a fearsome pride, surviving for over a
decade. They live within the savannah, where they rein fear into any
prey or predator that comes near them. Their lionesses are skilled
huntresses that can take on any prey that they come across.
The Moto pride has a large territory, which the subordinate male
coalition patrols with an iron fist, not allowing any rogues to enter.

Cheetahs are the fastest land mammal, able to reach high speeds in
short bursts. Cheetahs are semi-social, occasionally hunting in small
groups to take down large prey. Cheetahs are anxious animals and
tend to avoid conflict with larger predators such as lions. Cheetahs
prefer medium-sized prey, such as gazelles and impalas. Cheetahs
are excellent hunters, but their speed lasts for short times and they
are not too agile, as they have difficulty turning quickly when running

Leopards are silent and intelligent hunters, with a light and lean
build. They are very adaptable hunters, living primarily in the
savannah and forests.They are known for their climbing ability,
as they often take their prey in trees to eat. Leopards compete
for prey mostly with lions and hyenas. They are typically solitary
and they are very territorial.

indentationAs morning came over the savannah, Imamu awoke to the feeling of tiny droplets of rain falling on his face. The king loved the rain, it was a reminder of the abundance of life that the wet season had brought them. He rolled onto his stomach lazily as he raised his head, closing his eyes as he enjoyed the feeling of water flowing through his thick mane. He stretched out his paws, his massive claws unsheathing as he let out a loud yawn, his brush-like tongue curling. He opened his eyes slightly, watching his pride as they still slept. He rested his head in his large paws, closing his eyes to enjoy the relatively cool morning.

indentationZuri stalked slowly through the grass, her eyes set on a distracted thomson's gazelle. Each step was carefully and expertly placed so as to not alert the prey of her presence. She stopped. Should she go further, they would see her. She has to act now. She bolted after them, each antelope scattering, but she kept her sights on this one male. She panted heavily, her long legs carrying her through the grass at immeasurable speeds. The gazelle bleated in fear as it tried to run as fast as it could. Her heart started to beat louder as she realized that she was running out of energy. No, I'm so close! She tried to push herself further, the gazelle was just barely out of reach of her. She was too tired. Should she ran anymore, she would overheat. She stopped and laid down on the grass, watching as her prey took off. She let out a sigh of disappointment as she looked down at her tired paws.

indentationZuberi had not eaten in a week. His recent hunts were complete failures. Zuberi knew that he had to up his game if he were to survive another day. If he didn't eat today, he'd be too weak to catch anything. He knew that he was too close to lion's territory, but he smelled a carcass nearby. Eating from carcasses were for measly hyenas or vultures, but the leopard was desperate for anything to fill his stomach. And as expected, a family of jackals were feeding on the dead zebra colt. The one jackal stood before the carcass to defend it, but a roar and a swipe of his paw was enough to drive the jackals off, though they stuck close enough to wait for Zuberi to leave. There was enough meat to satisfy him, but Zuberi was still humiliated that he ate like hyenas.

okhela slept with her back touching imamu's. at least, she was sleeping until he stirred and awoke her from her slumber. the sandy-coloured lioness lifted her head to see what he was doing. to her early-morning self's relief, all he was doing was watching the pride. okhela let out a rumbling purr as she lay her head back down and stretched out next to imamu.

indentationThe lion's ear twitched when he felt Okhela move. He lowered his head and gently licked behind her ear. He let out a soft chuff before laying his head on the Queen's side. "Good morning, Okhela." he said with a quiet, tired sounding voice. The tip of his tail flicked lightly as he closed his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes and watched the view of the savannah. He licked his lips before glancing back down at his queen.
