we dogs were there for them. we were their most
loyal companions. our loyalty undivided and we
spent our entire lives devoted to them. well, until
now. we dogs are the lost ones, we are the ones
who escaped the ring, the ones who were kicked
out. the ones who decided that they didn't deserve
us, the ones who ran.
we've been abused, mistreated, thrown away. we've
had enough. the humans are returning, trying to take
back our mountains, our forests, our lakes, our land.
they want our home, and we will not let them take it.
// just look at what they've done to us.

over the years stray dogs have retreated into
the canadian mountains, it also became a
sort of 'dumping point' for people who no
longer wanted their dogs, no one knew why,
but no one questioned it either. a pack was
formed down by the base of one of the
mountains, in the forest. it was doing well,
steady numbers, enough food to go around,
and pack life was pretty peaceful overall.
then they struck. humans wanted the
land back, and they didn't care who got hurt
while doing so. they hunted the entire
pack down, killing the majority. once a
great pack was diminished back to a small
pack of survivors. they have slowly started
regaining their numbers but the humans
will return, battles will be fought and lives
will be lost, but these are our mountains,
our forests, our lakes. this is our home
and we will not give up a fight,
for we are survivors.

one - please respect and follow all of cs's rules
two - please have a minimum of five sentences,
this isn't a strict semi-lit roleplay, just enough for someone
to be able to make a decent post from, the occasional
writer's block is understandable, but at least three sentences
with a really serious case of writer's block.
three - please try and remain active, pm me
if your going to be away for more than five days without
notice.
four - all forms and discussion on the discussion
thread, and a max four characters per person please
[two males, two females]
five - I'm sorry but medium - larger dogs only, if your unsure
whether the breed is alright for this feel free to pm me <3
six - please try and disable signiatures on the main, i
will try not to badger on about it but it does make the thread
a lot neater and if possible please keep font size to ninty and
below <3

the pack live in quite the stunning area, with the mountain
ranges making up one part of their border and the lake
another, they definitely have the upper hand when it
comes to aesthetics. though, it can definitely be one
hell of a harsh place in the winter. with most prey having
either migrated to the other side of the mountains or
gone into hiding for the winter, food becomes scarce.
the lake almost definetly freezes over and becomes a
dangerous place to be. aside from the winter, the seasons
are pretty normal for canadiam weather. summer can
sometimes be a little over-whelming, especially for the
dogs with the thicker coats, so the shade provided by
the trees is taken advantage of, and many dogs sometimes
can be found paddling around in the large lake that only
the absolute best of the best swimmers have even dared
to try cross. this lake lies between the pack and the rest
of the land before the mountains make it completely impossible
to travel any further. the base of the mountains is currently where the
pack resides, a small cave is inhabited by the alpha, with dens
dug into the more softer ground at the base.
locations are a work in progress ~
