It was quite hilarious to watch the gears turn in the loner's head. It took her a while before she actually spoke again, and he stifled out a laugh. "From what I last heard... I believe so." Cassius grinned. He knew she wasn't enjoying this encounter as much as he was, which bothered him. She seemed a lot more comfortable before he had told her. "Loosen up. I'm the same dog I was a few minutes ago. If i was willing to make a deal with you then, making one now would be just the same." He comforted her. He could tell that she was much more worried about a deal now then she was then, now that she knew he had the whole pack at his aid.

She spoke again, still not completely confident in her choice. Cassius nodded thoughtfully and smiled, "Deal. Telling them would do me no good. So I suppose that we just keep it between us?" Cassius smiled and matched her gaze, "Thank you. By the way." He said softly, really this dog would be a lifesaver. "I never, ah, caught your name." He said, his posture shifting slightly. He didnt know why he was so nervous, he would have asked any loner he met for their names.

Sable's eyes flickered open gently and she quickly crawled out of her small den. It was nothing compared to the den of most of the dogs, except for a select few. Her eyes flitted across the small campsite, It was littered with dens and dogs sleeping, and it was quite a calming feeling. But her gaze ended up landing on the larger dog who had just awoken and left with his sister. Later she would find Auggie and ask about leading a border patrol, but she would let him be for now. Sable sighed and sat down in front of her small living space. The bright morning sun causing her to squint slightly. Today was another boring day, but surprisingly, she liked it that way. No drama, no violence. Peaceful and relaxing.

Rosa's perkiness startled Kodiak and he gave Pharaoh one last glance before following after the smaller dog. He smiled gently and wagged his tail, "I'm coming!" he barked after her, trailing behind the fast-paced female. His eyes scanned the area of the direction she was going, and he turned his gaze back to hers. "Where are we heading?" He inquired, his tail hung low and was wagging gently.

Shiloh nodded in respect at Ontario, she knew the rainy season was a long time away and internally agreed with her Alpha. Nosing her mate she informed Max she'd head to the East to look for some water to bring back, she saw the look of unhappiness on Max's face and figured he'd want some time to himself. Shiloh understood, granted she never had a sibling but Max was her everything and wanted him happy again at whatever cost to her. The hound sauntered away, searching around the rubble for any kind of object or something that she knew could hold water and that she could easily carry back. She kept to herself most of the time, being the lowest of all ranks bothered her greatly and didn't understand why Ontario would keep her and the rest of her lineage as Omegas forever all because of something that happened before her time. She couldve been a hunter or atleast a subordinate "no use in wishing" she muttered to herself and pawed around the trash until she at last found a plastic grocery bag and smiled before heading off to find some water.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe loner shifted her weight onto her other foot, looking up as the alpha spoke. Chase sighed quietly, deciding that she owed him a bit of an explanation, to her rather, ‘untrusting’ behaviour. “I’m sorry, the life of a loner isn’t exactly filled with trust, neither was the life I had before this, can you blame me for being weary of another dog?” She asked, her tone softening slightly as she came to terms with the fact that this dog did in fact mean no harm.

The fae listened to him, nodding her head gently as he spoke - what he said did make sense. The loner offered a small smile in return, “i’d appreciate that.” She agreed, her gaze softening slightly as she looked to the alpha. The fae nodded as he thanked her, “I’ll hang around here every now and then and update you on anything.” She added, preparing to take a step back and leave - she was now starting to run behind on her ‘schedule’, she still needed to hunt for her breakfast and if she waited much longer, the other pack dogs would probably have scared the available prey away.

Still remaining respectful she stayed put, waiting to see if the male had anything else to say. When he asked her, her name she stiffened ever so slightly but quickly relaxed - a name was just a name right? “I’m chase, what about you?” She answered, a small smile tugging at her lips - she had begun to feel more comfortable alpha but she constantly reminded herself that he was just another dog, nothing more.

perched upon the cracked leather seats of the rusted truck, raoh set his shapely head on the windowsill of the car.
a small chuckle erupted from his throat as he noticed kodiak shooting him a startled glance before leaving with rosa. it was a pity laugh, his only source of humor had always been pity. after they were out of sight he let out a brief huff, before retracting his exposed face into the cool lavish of the car. a soft pant had slowly made its' way to part his muzzle, attempting to cool himself down presumably, and he pondered taking a dip in the nearby pond.

Would awaken to find herself once again passed out in the backseat of an old rusted volkswagen, letting out a deep snort she would rise up her back scraping against the roof of the car as she conveyed the surrounding area listening to the sounds of nature, the stillness causing her to grow uneasy, shaking the dust off of her fur she would begin to pace off towards the steps of one of the local school grounds, letting out a huff as she sniff the area out before continuing to walk up the steps, she would pace up and down the entrance listening to the sound of creaking wood before making her way up towards the second flooring, scratching her paws into each step as a warning for others.

Moving slowly through the halls hoping to not cause any attention to the building she was in, she quietly crept her way towards one of the open classrooms hoping she would find something she could chew on, using her large frame she began to push over various objects, ornaments of all kind sniffing for anything she could play with.

Cassius nodded, he understood. Now that he had to be wary around all of his pack, he couldn't trust any of them to tell him the truth. "I understand. It's hard to trust anyone nowadays." Cass barked, his eyes shifting downwards. It was hard to think that his own pack was going against him. The dogs he used to consider friends were traitors. He felt his lips curling up into a snarl, but quickly regained cobtrol and took a deep breath. He returned her gaze again, his eyes glazed with worry.

Cassius watched her hurried movements. She wanted to leave. She spoke quickly and he nodded, showing he understood. When she spoke again, telling him her name, he gave a soft smile. "Cassius." The alpha said, his tail lifting slightly and falling into a steady swaying motion. Cass glanced around one last time. "I suppose I'll see you later then." Cass said sullenly. The female was excited to leave, but alas, Cassius actually enjoyed her company.
