Author woke up to the rattling of his cage door as he was lifted out side. He looked around side to side. He saw dogs trying to escape getting adopted and a flood of people. All of this was putting pressure on him. He didn't know what to do. Author backed up to the back of his cage as fear and confusion shinned in his eyes. He looked up as a huge banner was above him as it waved wildly in the wind. Author looked at the dogs trying to escape."G-guys. Why are you trying to run!?" Author asked. Fear shook in his voice. He just woke up and almost every emotion was hitting him at once. But panic stood out the most. He tried to look happy. He waved his tail wildly but not because of joy. To try to grab attention. He felt like it was the first day at the dog show. He was scared and crippled but the crowed cheered. All because of his masking of emotion and forcing his tail to wag wildly. Author stuck his tongue out and put his paws on the front of his cage and began to wag it wildly. If you looked into his eyes for abit you could see the fear and confusion in them.

Dawn saw the human grab them way to tight. She knew it wasn't right. She didnt know what they were doing but she didn't want to learn now. Dawn didn't know if they could even breath."Loose grip! Tight. Loose grip! No touch. Let go!" Dawn squawked at them to try to help. She knew that her loud squawks were no better with the sound everyone was complaining about. But she didn't want to risk loosing a friend. Especially a feathered friend.

Meria got torn out of sleep to the loud sound of everything. She was normally supper nice but she hated getting woken up by loud noises."QUIET DOWN! IF YOUR LOUD YOU WON"T GET ADOPTED OR SET FREE! PEOPLE ARE HERE AND ANIMALS ARE TRYING TO SLEEP AND THEIR GETTING HEAD ACHES! SO CAN YOU PLEASE be abit more quiet." Meria hissed she just wanted to sleep. She didn't care if the pup cried she just wanted it to be more quiet. Quickly her rage melted down as she was calm. Meria sat down and tried to look nice to the people. She knew most people hated cats but she was tired of having to be on the streets or bad homes. She just wanted to be at a home where she didn't constantly get woken up by dog screams or bird squawks.

Brad finished up his work and slid their cage back into the spot."Yup! All the animals are set." Brad said. A smile filled his face when he saw Crystal get adopt. They were a good dog and it him happy to that their getting adopted. Brad walked to the entrance and began to greet anyone who walked in.

Kkuri stayed in her hut as the sounds got louder. She stuck her head out of a small window."Ewww look at that rat." She heard a little boy say."Yeah and look at those beady black eyes." Their brother said."Lets go look at the dogs!" The two boys walked off to the dog area."Am I just a just a gross rat in peoples eyes? Im not even a rat." Kkuri said. She walked out from the hut and grabbed onto the bars on her cage."N-no Im not just a pest in people minds. Those guys were just mean." Kkuri said. The two boys came back."Look at it. Just look at it. Their never gonna get adopted. Kkuri what a weird name." One of the boys tried to hit her head. Kkuri bit their finger. She had to it was self defense."Ow! MOOOM! The rat bit me." Kkuri turned around."Oh so you think your mom is gonna do something." Kkuri went back into her hut to avoid conclusion.

Meria nodded when they barked quietly."Thank you very much." Meria said. She laid down. She got startled when Kami spoke."Nothing any more. Just got irritated.' Meria shrugged."Sorry for disturbing and scaring you. As i said everything's good now." Meria said as she sat back up. She knew that she was also being loud at that time but at least its a lot quieter.

Shortly after he retreated to a corner, Briar was scooped up by a staff member and taken outside, though he was growling non-stop the whole time. He was then put into a cage with metal bars and the door was then shut with a slam. He felt riled up. Briar had a little flame raging in him, and so he started attacking the bars of the cage in hopes of escaping. After a short while of that, he realized that it wasn't going to work. He then retreated to the back of his cage, observing humans that he had never seen before enter and leave, some taking pets with them, some not.

(Should she be adopted or do you want her to stay? I'm fine with either. I have no need to get rid of her though haha)

"Quiet you! I'm not talking to you, now am I?!" The women pursed her lips and yelled at the other bird as if the bird could perfectly understand her. "And you! You're barking don't scare me one bit! I wanted this here bird, but maybe I don't anymore!" The woman's grip tightened to the point where Noelle could barely breathe and the woman's knuckles were perfectly white. Letting out a loud cry, Noelle caught on to her own thoughts and processed what was happening. It only took a few seconds for Noelle to know what was up. As soon as the whole situation went through Noelle's mind, she scraped her talons against the woman, loosening the overweight woman's tight grip. "Oh, heavens! All of you are demons! I'm never coming back here!" The large woman screeched. Instead of storming off and leaving, though, she went to go look at other pets. How anticlimactic. Turning back at the two other animals, Noelle smiled. She was happy that they had helped her, and she hoped maybe someday he could pay them back.

Dawn watched the lady closely. When she began to squeeze them supper hard you could feel the rage radiating off of her."NO! GOOD NO! BAD! BAD PERSON! BAD! BAD! BAD!" Dawn squawked louder with each word. Dawn grabbed onto her cage and flapped her wings fast and loud. She stuck out her claws to try to scratch and attack them. Dawn didn't care about their insults she just wanted them out."GOOD! Leave! Leave no back. Just leave." Dawn squawked as she walked away. Even if she didn't squeeze them hard. Dawn still felt like their home would of been terrible. Eventually Dawn calmed down she turned to them and winked."Friend Kay?" Dawn asked concerned for them.

Meria smiled and laid down in her bed. It only took like 10 seconds before she fell asleep.

Brad welcomed people and told them info about the pets they wanted. He wanted to yell at the boys when they were bothering Kkuri but he didn't want to get in trouble. When the boys ran off he was gonna go and check up on Kkuri but Lola got their first. He sighed with relief. He knew they loved her. Brad turned around and continued to greet people.

Kkuri squeaked when the cage moved. She walked out of her hut when she heard Lola's calming voice. If she had to pick employee to spend the day with it would be her. Kkuri walked up to the edge of her cage."I know. People are like that. They look at you then they instantly start looking down on you." Kkuri squeaked. She knew that they couldn't under stand her. But she replied anyways. Kkuri would of been smiling if she could. She grabbed the edge of her cage and twitched her nose a few times. She then walked away and began running on her wheel.
