The forest was once a place of beauty, a prime example of the true beauty of nature. Humans hunt, this is expected by the animals of the forest. But something must have snapped in the humans, as they have become more and more ruthless against humans. Animals were killed left and right and their population began to dwindle. The animals had no idea of what was going on or why and they were frightened. They would be afraid to go to sleep as they weren't sure if they'd wake up to the sight of a bullet flying towards them.

One day, the animals came together for a meeting, something the animals of the forest haven't done in some time. Predators and prey, wolves and deer all came together in one place in peace. The great Odin, a mighty red deer stood before them all. He looked at the animals who came together for the first time in so long. The sight was surely amazing for those who were present to attend. Odin raised his mighty antlers high as he spoke.

"My friends," He announced. "I will not lie to you all, the forest is in grave danger. The humans have become ruthless and they upset the balance of the forest. With their rifles and dogs, they are a powerful foe that we were unable to defeat for some time. That is, until now. We, the animals of the forest, shall band together and fight this menace. We will speak one language, live among each other; for the sake of defending our home and restoring balance in the forest. Hear my words, from the field mice to the eagles, we will all join in the battle against the humans. I ask you all to stand up and fight for our home."

The animals cheered and howled and yipped in unison. And from that moment onward, the animals lived as one and declared war against humanity. The animals rose up and killed any armed humans that they saw in the forest. The animals believed that they were victorious, until they found their secret base and killed Odin, sending a bullet flying right through his heart. The humans may have believed that they won the war, but they simply won the battle. After the death of Odin, the animals only became more furious and lusted more for human blood. The son of Odin, Asmund, would assume his father's role as King of the forest and he continues the battle against humanity to this day.

i. Why are the humans killing so many animals all of the sudden?
a. There is no specific reason for this question as it is not the focus of the
roleplay but rather the driving point behind the plot. There may be
an official reason later on in the roleplay, but for now it's a mystery.
ii. Can I play as a domesticated animal (i.e. dogs, cats, horses, etc.)
a. Yes! Some domesticated animals are on the side of the forest animals and
they may act as spies for them. You can also play as a dog that
belongs to hunters (however, I want the ranks to be filled up before
we get too many of these). Also, stray animals are allowed inside
sanctuary but pets belonging to humans are typically not allowed
to go inside of sanctuary (so as to not report it to the humans and
reveal their secret location)
iii. If the carnivores cannot eat prey, how do they eat?
a. Carnivores aren't banned from eating meat, as they do uphold
the balance of the forest along with the prey animals. However,
they cannot kill any animals under the protection of the sanctuary.
iv. Can I have an LGBT character?
a. Of course! They are encouraged in this roleplay. If anyone has a
problem with this, I do not wish to see them join.
v. What's the difference between patrol, guard, and scout?
a. Patrol travel in groups and actively look for humans in the forest
and they are trained to kill them. Scouts simply look around the area and
report anything unusual. They aren't specifically trained to fight humans.
Guards remain near sanctuary (but not too close) and protect
Sanctuary from any threats.

Forest
The forest is where many of the animals call home. It is large, covering several acres,
with plenty of streams and a few small waterfalls.
Sanctuary
Sanctuary is near the center of the forest, and is far from the original location of the old sanctuary.
The entrance of the cave is typically hidden behind moss and plants.
The inside of the cave is mostly underground, with multiple tunnels dug within it for animals to sleep in.
It is mostly dirt and grass near the enterance, but the ground becomes
mostly rock the further you go inside. There is a small body of water
deep inside the cave as well. Sanctuary is
a very sacred location and is a beacon of safety for animals.
RV Park
The RV park is a location within the forest and nearby the road where people
temporarily live. It is mostly tourists living in the RV park, but some hunters
reside in them. Either way, it is advised against going near it.
Cabins
Located near the edge of the forest, the cabins are multiple homes made by
humans. Most of these cabins are inhabitted by hunters, but some average
families live in them. Either way, animals are encouraged to avoid it.
