A soft growl rumbled in his throat as the alpha female approached his sister in all but blood. Though he calmed as it became clear that Teja was only wanted for a small hunting outing. He easily went back to his meal, fully relaxed. Dante glanced up when he felt eyes on him, meeting the light brown eyes of TJ, silently asking a question, He nodded. Ever so silent he watched as Teja's harsher and darker side receded and the lighter one arrived. This caused him to re-turn to his meal, his tail wagging ever so slightly.

Nearly jumping out of her fur when Kasiyah approached, Teja let her ears perk up a bit when the other female spoke about hunting. A soft grin made it's way to her lips, though it was all teeth. "I'd be glad to, Alpha. Do you have anything particular in mind?" She glanced over at Dante, making sure the brute would be okay without her here. At his nod, she relaxed a bit more and a real smile made it's way to her jaws. Probably a small doe or a fawn. Anything bigger like a buck or elk would take at least three or four dogs. A boar would probably take more, unless it was a small team that worked well together. She let out a soft hum, Maybe hunting teams would be a good idea. Maybe.

He'd been moving along the trail lazily, every couple steps it grew slightly stronger but at this point Abner believed the dog to be long gone. Until, that is, a small brush of wind carried with it the evident smell of the dog. A low growl left his throat and his once passive stance now became defensive. Along his back his fur ridged and bristled. Now with a mission the male moved with purpose, his gait heavy like a horse. He wasn't a quiet dog and he wasn't necessarily trying to be, he was fine with chasing these mongrels out of pack territory and had no interest in fighting them. As a warning he barked loudly before his pace quickened into a jog.

she opened her pretty amber eyes as the sun had shone in them, making them sparkle
she blinked and turned to lay on her side, she yawned and got up to walk over to tiny tree
that was not to far from where she had rested the night before. she watched the others
wake up and sat there watching the sun grow over the forest trees.

✎ "I was thinking perhaps a fawn or two, or a smaller doe if we get lucky. I can round whatever up and direct away from the heard and toward you, and then you can ambush. Sound like a plan?" I answered, thinking my plan was pretty foolproof. It wasn't asking for much, after all. Maybe we could find some smaller prey like a ground bird, rabbit, or ground hog on our way there and back.

✎ The sound of the heavy pawsteps faded, and so I slowed down. Thinking I was safe, I came to a stop and started worrying about my next meal, once again. However, before I could even begin a thought of my new plan, I heard the same heavy pasteps growing louder and nearer. Man, really can't catch a break out here, huh? I decided to run a bit further away from the territory, but anymore running and I would be too worn out to catch anymore food.

Finishing his meal Dante let out a rough sigh, before laying his head onto his paws. Glancing down at his muzzle he winced then began to clean the blood off of himself. Dante had hated the sight of blood ever sense he was a pup, they reminded him of crushed roses. Which ended up reminding him of broken hearts and lost loves. He shook his head, then glanced around camp half-heartedly think about going rabbit hunting.

Nodding the pale coated female spoke, " Sounds good to me. We should probably get going then, I hate hunting around noon, it gets too darn hot." With a flick of her tail Teja, slowly started to make her way out of the packs territory. Before leaving she cast her cold gaze around camp, taking note of who was awake. A snort left her, and the brown eyed lass stepped out of camp her body tensing.

(Dante is painfully alone, any one want to mess with the fluffy guy?)
